"Seiring perkembangan zaman, penggunaan energi baru terbarukan dengan sistem pembangkit terdistribusi berbasis inverter (IBDG) semakin meningkat untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan bakar fosil. Kehadiran IBDG dapat memberikan fleksibilitas dan efisiensi pada pembangkit energi seperti panel surya (PV). Komponen IBDG dapat dioperasikan sebagai voltage controlled-current source, akan tetapi respons arus gangguan hubung singkat dapat dibatasi hingga 1,2 p.u., sehingga arus gangguan kecil mungkin tidak terdeteksi oleh sistem proteksi konvensional. Penelitian ini mengusulkan metode pengaturan rele arus lebih dengan faktor pengali Voltage Current Multiplier (VCM) untuk meningkatkan waktu operasional rele arus lebih (OCR). Simulasi koordinasi proteksi dilakukan pada sistem distribusi IEEE 13 Bus yang diintegrasikan dengan PV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total waktu operasi rele arus lebih dengan metode yang diusulkan adalah 1,91 detik, yang secara signifikan mengurangi total waktu operasi rele hingga 81,3 % dibandingkan metode konvensional.
As time progresses, the use of renewable energy with Inverter Based Distributed Generation (IBDG) systems has increased to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The presence of IBDG can provide flexibility and efficiency to energy generators such as solar panels (PV). The components of IBDG can be operated as a voltage-controlled current source; however, the short-circuit fault current response can be limited to 1.2 p.u., which means small fault currents may not be detected by conventional protection systems. This research proposes an overcurrent relay setting method with a Voltage Current Multiplier (VCM) factor to improve the operational time of the Overcurrent Relay (OCR). Protection coordination simulation is carried out on the IEEE 13 Bus distribution system integrated with PV. The research results show that the total operating time of the overcurrent relay with the proposed method is 1.91 seconds, which significantly reduces the total relay operating time by 81.3% compared to conventional methods."

"Sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diesel (PLTD) Raha memiliki jaringan pemakaian sendiri 20 kV untuk melayani setiap beban yang ada dalam jangkauan jaringan. Adanya gangguan hubung singkat dalam sistem tenaga listrik dapat menimbulkan masalah seperti kerusakan peralatan sistem tenaga listrik dan timbulnya pemadaman listrik. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan suatu studi analisis untuk mengetahui arus gangguan hubung singkat yang akan terjadi sekaligus mengurangi akibat timbulnya kerusakan pada sistem. Pengujian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan melihat potensi dari arus gangguan hubung singkat terbesar dengan menggunakan bantuan software ETAP 12.6.0.
Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa jenis gangguan hubung singkat 3 phasa merupakan jenis gangguan terbesar dan untuk gangguan terkecil pada jenis gangguan hubung singkat line to ground pada bus generator. Semakin banyak beban yang beroperasi, semakin besar pula nilai impedansi urutan positif dan negatif serta nilai arus hubung singkat. Impedansi urutan nol tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah beban yang beroperasi, begitu pun dengan pengaturan circuit breaker maupun kabel pada sistem tenaga listrik yang memiliki pengaturan tidak sesuai menurut standar yang digunakan.
Raha Diesel Power Station (PLTD Raha) utilizes a 20 kV grid to supply every load within the network reach. The presence of faults such as short circuits within an electric energy system can lead to problems such as damage on the electric energy apparatus and power outages. An analytical study is needed to understand the short circuit fault current and to decrease the effects of the incoming system failure. This simulation aims to observe and understand the short circuit fault current potential using Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP 12.6.0).This study shows that the biggest disruption is caused by the 3 phasa current with and for the smallest disturbance in the type of line to ground short circuit on the bus generator. The bigger the operating load, the larger the value of positive and negative sequence impedance as well as the short circuit current. The zerosequence impedance does not affect the amount of operating load, this also applies to the cables on the electric energy system that are not set according to standards."
