"Karya ilmiah ini membahas tentang penggunaankata sapaan "halo" yang terdapat dalam karya sastra Три Сестры /tri sestry/ "Tiga Saudara Perempuan" karya A. Chekhov. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif-analitis, yaitu analisis kata sapaan "halo", lalu mengidentifikasi penggunaan kata sapaan "halo" yang memiliki arti yang sama namun penggunaannya berdasarkan situasi tertentu. Karya ilmiah ini dimulai dengan memilah kata sapaan yang terdapat di dalam karya sastra tersebut. Dengan demikian, kata sapaan "halo" ini dijadikan objek analisis dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan suatu simpulan bahwa terdapat beberapa kata "halo" dalam bahasa Rusia yang penggunaannya tergantung pada situasi atau kepada siapa kata sapaan tersebut Penyesuaian dalam penggunaan kata sapaan "halo" tersebut sesuai dengan teori yang digunakan.

This journal covers the usage of the greeting words "hello" in literary works Три Сестры / tri sestry / 'Three Sister' by A. Chekhov. The method used is descriptive-analytic method, is analyzing the greeting words "hello", and then identify the use of the greeting words "hello" that has the same meaning, but its use is based on the specific situation. This jorunal begins with sorting out the greeting word contained in this literary works. Thus, the greeting word "hello" was used as the object of analysis in this study. The analysis showed a conclusion that there are a few of greeting words "hello" in Russian language which the use depends on the situation or to whom the greeting words are spoken. Adjustments in the use of the greeting words "hello" in accordance with the theory used."
