"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai kemampuan literasi informasi para peneliti di Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia PKBI Pusat . Salah satu permasalahan yang ada yaitu walaupun sistem perpustakaan di PKBI Pusat belum berjalan dengan baik,namun pada kenyataannya PKBI Pusat terus berperan aktif dalam melakukan penyuluhan dan memberikan informasi mengenai kesehatan seksual dan reproduksi. Oleh karena itu, penulis membahas tentang kemampuan literasi informasi peneliti PKBI Pusat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendapatkan pemahaman, mengetahui, dan mendekripsikan kemampuan literasi informasi para peneliti PKBI Pusat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dengan mengacu pada model Empowering Eight. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peneliti memenuhi seluruh tahapan yang ditetapkan oleh model Empowering Eight meskipun tidak memenuhi seluruh indikator yang ada.

This undergraduate thesis discusses about information literacy skills of the researchers in Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat Perkumpulan Keluarga Berencana Indonesia Pusat PKBI Pusat . One of the issues is that the PKBI Pusat library rsquo s system has not been operated properly yet. However, PKBI Pusat always actively gives counseling and information about Sexual and Reproductive Health. Therefore, the writer analyzes the information literacy skills of the researchers. The purpose of this research is to know, to be able to describe, and to get the in depth understanding of the researchers rsquo information literacy in fulfilling the information needs by referring to the model called Empowering Eight. The type of this research is a qualitative research with descriptive approach. The result of this research shows that the researchers of PKBI Pusat have implemented all stages of the Empowering Eight model even though they have not fulfilled all of the available indicators yet."

"Tesis ini membahas hubungan literasi informasi dengan publikasi hasil penelitian peneliti di Pusat Penelitian Bioteknologi - LIPI. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa peneliti khususnya di lingkungan Pusat Penelitian Bioteknologi - LIPI lebih mengekplorasi dan mengembangkan kemampuan literasi informasi; pengembangan strategi organisasi berupa pembuatan program literasi informasi; perlunya keterlibatan perpustakaan dalam kegiatan literasi informasi.

The focus of this study is analyzing the relationship between researchers? information literacy with publications of research results that existed at the Research Center of Biotechnology - LIPI. The type of this research is a quantitative study with descriptive approach. The results suggest that researchers, especially in the Biotechnology Research Center - LIPI to explore and develop information literacy skills; construct organizational strategies such as information literacy programming; involvement of the library in information literacy activities."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang pengaruh tingkat literasi informasi terhadap kinerja pengurus Humas dan Media Lembaga Dakwah di Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana tingkat literasi informasi dapat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja pengurus dalam organisasi. Skripsi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode studi kasus bidang Humas dan Media serta teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara tingkat literasi informasi terhadap kinerja pengurus Humas dan Media Lembaga Dakwah di Univeritas Indonesia dalam penyelesaian tugas–tugasnya.

This thesis examines the influence of information literacy level to board performance of PR and Media Lembaga Dakwah at the University of Indonesia. This study aims to investigate how information literacy can affect board performance improvements within the organization. This thesis uses a quantitative approach to the case study method as well as the field of Public Relations and Media and use purposive sampling technique of sampling. The results of this study indicate that there are influences between information literacy level of the board performance of PR and Media Lembaga Dakwah in the completion of their tasks."

"Skripsi ini meneliti tentang kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pengetahuan Budaya Universitas Indonesia (FIB UI) Angkatan 2012 dalam kegiatan perkuliahan sehari-hari. Literasi informasi adalah kemampuan untuk menemukan, mengevaluasi dan menggunakan informasi secara efektif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret-Mei tahun 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan data berupa kuesioner yang dibuat berdasarkan model literasi informasi The Big6 yang disusun oleh Eisenberg. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa mahasiswa FIB UI angkatan 2012 telah melakukan keenam tahapan The Big6 antara lain : berdiskusi dengan orang lain dalam penentuan topik, lebih memilih menggunakan search engine dalam menemukan informasi, menggunakan strategi pencarian sederhana dalam menemukan informasi dan mereka menggunakan aturan pengutipan dalam menggunakan sumber informasi.

This thesis examines the information literacy skills of undergraduate students in daily lectures activities. This thesis uses a quantitative approach, which using questionnaire for data collection. The questionnaire was made based on The Big 6 Information Literacy Models which developed by Eisenberg. The conclusion of this research is that students are rarely use the library in information literacy steps."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang literasi informasi mahasiswa internasional pada Program BIPA di Fakultas Ilmu Pengetahuan Budaya Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang mahasiswa BIPA yang dipilih dengan metode random sampling untuk diwawancara dengan pertanyaan yang merujuk pada teori literasi informasi Big6 yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menganalisis kemampuan literasi informasi informan dengan 6 tahap Big6 yaitu, definisitugas, strategi penelusuran informasi, lokasi dan akses, penggunaan informasi, sintesis, serta evaluasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa mahasiswa internasional program BIPA di FIB UI melakukan tahapan literasi informasi tanpa mereka sadari untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi yang timbul dari luar perkuliahan yaitu, kebutuhan informasi dasar, informasi tentang pekerjaan masing-masing, informasi tentang perbedaan bahasa kosakata dan informasi tentang hobi masing-masing informan. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan literasi informasi setiap mahasiswa BIPA yang dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan Bahasa Indonesia informan, latar belakang kemampuan/pengalaman Bahasa Indonesia informan sebelum tinggal di Indonesia sebelum menjadi mahasiswa BIPA, dan lama tinggal di Indonesia.

This research aims to analyze information literacy skill of Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing BIPA students at Universitas Indonesia in accordance with their foreign language learning need, Bahasa. Einsberg 2004 asserted that information literacy skill is important in foreign language learning. This can be seen from the purpose of foreign language learning comprising of communication, culture, relation, comparison and community which increases the need of information literacy learning to overcome the problems concerning the learning. In order to support the need, the collaboration between information literacy and the use of Bahasa by BIPA students is necessary. Lecture curricula for foreign students would be more up to date if it is adjusted to information need of the students. BIPA students are foreign students who study Indonesian language as their foreign language or it can be called as Indonesian as Foreign Language IFL. Information literacy skill of BIPA students will be analyzed using Big6, consisting of problem defining stage, information finding strategy, location and access, information use, synthesis and evaluation. This research is using qualitative approach with case study method. Data for this research is collected through interviews, observation and literature study. Research informants were 6 six people selected using random sampling. They consisted of two students from South Korea and one student from Slovakia, Japan, Netherland and Vietnam. Most existing researches discuss English as foreign language second language EFL ESL, but no research on information literacy related to Indonesian as foreign language second language. Therefore, this research is going to fill the gap between the previously conducted researches on information literacy related to language skill."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai kemampuan literasi informasi siswa di SMA Negeri 7 Purworejo. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode survei dan kuesioner sebagai instrumen untuk pengumpulan data. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 86 responden. Model yang digunakan sebagai pedoman instrument penelitan adalah The Big6 Skills. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi informasi siswa kelas XI lebih unggul dibanding kemampuan literasi informasi siswa kelas X, dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pelaksanaan program kelas literasi informasi terhadap tingkat kemampuan literasi informasi siswa.

This thesis describes about information literacy skills of students at SMA Negeri 7 Purworejo. This research is a descriptive quantitative approach using survey method and questionnaire as instruments to collect the data. The model used as the instrument research tool is The Big6 Skills. The result of this research shows that the information literacy skills of students in grade XI is better than the students in grade X, so it can be said that the implemention of information literacy class program influenced the level of information literacy skills of the students."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai bagaimana literasi siswa kelas XI SMKN 31 Jakarta dalam mencari informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja di PIK-R SMKN 31 Jakarta. Salah satu permasalahan remaja di era keterbukaan informasi saat ini adalah cara yang benar mencari dan menemukan informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja. Diantara berbagai permasalahan dalam menemukan informasi maka diperlukan sebuah literasi informasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan proses literasi informasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja yang dilakukan oleh remaja kelas XI SMKN 31 Jakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan interpretif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa literasi informasi siswa kelas XI SMKN 31 Jakarta hanya sampai pada tahap ke lima dari model literasi informasi The Big6.

This undergraduate thesis discusses about how the information literacy skills of XI graders at SMKN 31 Jakarta in information retrieval about reproductive health at PIK-R SMKN 31 Jakarta. One of the problems of youth in the era of information today is the right way for and find information on adolescent reproductive health. Among the various problems in finding the information will require an information literacy.

The purpose of this study is to investigate, identify and describe the process of information literacy on adolescent reproductive health are committed by class XI SMK 31 Jakarta students. This study is a qualitative research with an interpretive approach. The results showed that the information literacy class XI of SMK 31 Jakarta students only up to the stage five of The Big6 model of literacy information."

"Skripsi ini membahas kemampuan literasi informasi guru di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 7 Jakarta (MAN 7 Jakarta). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kemampuan literasi informasi guru dalam menunjang proses mengajar yang selanjutnya, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam pencarian, pengelolaan dan mengevaluasi informasi, serta mengetahui peran perpustakaan sekolah dan pimpinan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa guru memiliki kemampuan literasi informasi yang memadai namun masih perlu ditingkatkan dan dikembangkan; Di samping itu, kendala-kendala yang dihadapi adalah dalam proses pencarian informasi dan perpustakaan sekolah belum banyak berperan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi guru. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menyarankan kepala sekolah agar mendukung dan memfasilitasi para guru untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan literasi informasi serta kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk menunjang proses mengajar selanjutnya, kepala sekolah dan perpustakan sekolah perlu melakukan pengadaan koleksi perpustakaan sekolah terutama koleksi buku penunjang untuk guru agar mereka dapat mengembangkan wawasan dan pengetahuan yang dimiliki.

This paper discusses the information literacy skills of teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 7 Jakarta (MAN7 Jakarta). This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The purpose of this research is to know the ability of information literacy support teachers in teaching process further, identify obstacles faced by teachers in the process of information searching, information management and information evaluation, as well as to know the role of the school library and school leaders in fulfilling the information needs of teachers.

The results of this research show that teachers already have sufficient information literacy skills however, their information literacy skills need to be improved and developed further; Addtionally, there are some obstacles such as in information retrieval process and lack of supports from the school library in meeting the information needs of teachers.

The research suggests that the principal support and facilitate the teachers in improving and developing their information literacy skills, as well as improving the ability to use information technology to support the teaching process. It is also suggested that the principal and the school libray need to develop and procure school library collections, specifically the supporting book/material collection for teachers so that they can develop their insights and knowledge further."

"Skripsi ini membahas kemampuan literasi informasi pemustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Bina Nusantara Kampus Anggrek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kemampuan literasi informasi pemustaka dan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara variabel bebas dengan kemampuan literasi pemustaka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar ke 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi informasi pemustaka tergolong baik berdasarkan indikator-indikator standar kompetensi literasi informasi perguruan tinggi dari ACRL namun masih ada beberapa kekurangan. Kemampuan literasi pemustaka juga dipengaruhi oleh frekuensi kunjungan ke perpustakaan dan tingkat semester pemustaka.

This research describes about information literacy skills of users at Binus University Library. The purpose of this research is to identify information literacy skills of users and to detect the correlation between independent variable and the information literacy skills of users. This research has descriptive-quantitative approach with survey method by using questionnaire which is applied to 100 respondents.

The results show that the information literacy of users is considered as good, based on Information Literacy Standards for Higher Education?s indicators (ACRL). However, this study also show that there were some drawbacks and obstacles in some items. Few items of Information literacy skills of users were influenced by user?s visiting frequency to library and their level of semester."

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa tingkat akhir STIE IBS. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan masih terdapat indikator ACRL Information Literacy Standard for Higher Education yang belum terpenuhi oleh mahasiswa tingkat akhir STIE IBS. Penelitian ini menyarankan STIE IBS untuk mengadakan program pelatihan literasi informasi untuk mahasiswanya.

This paper discusses about information literacy skills of final years students of Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia Banking School (STIE IBS). The purpose of this research is to identify information literacy skill of final years students of STIE IBS and to identify of implementation of information literacy to support their course. This study is a qualitative research using case study design.

The results showed there are indicators of ACRL Information Literacy Standard for Higher Education that has not been met by the final year students of STIE IBS. This study suggests STIE IBS to create information literacy training for students."
