"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh ancaman militer yang dilakukan oleh Korea Utara terhadap nilai tukar dan indeks saham di Korea Selatan selama Korea Utara berada di bawah pemerintahan Kim Jong-un, yakni pada periode 2012-2017. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengkategorisasi ancaman berdasarkan jenisnya, dan juga melakukan analisis perusahaan-perusahaan pada tingkat sektor. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa dari walaupun secara umum nilai tukar dan indeks saham tidak dipengaruhi oleh ancaman militer Korea Utara, pada tingkat sektor, dampak ancaman bisa saja tetap muncul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antar sektor perusahaan, pengaruh ancaman militer bisa berbeda-beda, tergantung dari karakteristik perusahaannya.

ABSTRACTThis research was intended to investigate the impact of North Korean military threats under the governance of Kim Jong un, that is from 2012 2017, on the exchange rate of South Korean Won and the stock prices of South Korean companies. This research was done by categorizing threats according to the types of the threats, and also by classifying the companies in South Korea according to their sectors. The result of this research shows that although exchange rates and stock index were not affected by North Korean military threat, but at sectoral level, the result might be different. Depending on the characteristics of the sectors, the impact can vary from one sector to another. "

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai strategi militer Korea Selatan di masa pemerintahan Presiden Kim Dae Jung yang diljelaskan melalui analisis geopolitik dan geostrategi dengan studi kasus insiden Laut Barat pada tahun 1999. Penelitian ini memakai metode penelitian Kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi militer Korea Selatan dalam studi kasus yang diambil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi militer Korea Selatan dipengaruhi oleh geopolitik dan geostragi yang memperhitungkan pentingnya wilayah perbatasan (Laut Barat) dan penentuan garis batas (Northern Limit Line/NLL). Dalam hal ini meskipun Korea Selatan di masa pemerintahan Kim Dae Jung sedang dalam usaha berdamai dengan Korea Utara, namun pelanggaran perbatasan oleh Korea Utara akan tetap mendapatkan perlawanan dari militer Korea Selatan.

This study discusses the strategy of the South Korean military in the government of President Kim Dae Jung described through geopolitical and geostrategic analysis with case studies of the West Sea incident in 1999. This study used qualitative research methods in order to describe South Korea's military strategy in the case studies which taken. Results of this study showed that the South Korean military strategy was influenced by geopolitical and geostrategic which takes into account the importance of the border region (West Sea) and the determination of the boundary line (Northern Limit Line/NLL). In this case even though South Korea in the Kim Dae Jung government was attempting peace with North Korea, but the border violations by North Korea would still get resistance from the South Korean military."

"ABSTRAKSistem patriarki di Korea Selatan masih melekat hingga abad ke-21 dan hal tersebut merupakan penyebab dari munculnya kasus diskriminasi terhadap perempuan dalam kehidupan keluarga, khususnya antara hubungan suami dan istri. Diskriminasi tersebut dapat dicontohkan dengan adanya sikap ketidakpedulian atas peran istri dan kekerasan seksual dalam rumah tangga. Perempuan yang dipaksa untuk bungkam akhirnya melakukan perlawanan terhadap sistem patriarki yang diwakili oleh organisasi perempuan dan juga pemerintah. Kejadian tersebut tergambar melalui cerita pendek Domabaem karya Kim Young Ha yang dipublikasikan pada tahun 1997. Melalui pendekatan sosiologi sastra dan metode penelitian kepustakaan, penelitian ini membahas mengenai pemikiran perempuan Korea Selatan terhadap hubungan keluarga khususnya pada perilaku suami terhadap istri dalam cerita pendek Domabaem. Adapun tujuan penulisan jurnal ini adalah untuk membahas pemikiran perempuan terhadap keluarga terkait dengan hubungan suami dan istri.

ABSTRACTThe patriarchal system in South Korea manages to adhere tightly to the society until the 21st Century. It is caused by the gender discrimination toward women in families, particularly between husband and wife. The issue of gender discrimination usually revolves around ignorant behavior and domestic violence. Women who were forced to be passive have finally started to stand up against the patriarchal system through organizations and the government. This phenomenon was depicted through Domabaem, a South Korean literature written by Kim Young Ha, which was published in 1997. With the sociology of literature approach and literary survey method, the writer would like to do a research regarding South Korean women rsquo s thoughts in familial relationship, specifically the relationship between husband and wife through the South Korean literature, Domabaem. As for the purpose of this writing is to examine women rsquo s thoughts concerning families with regard to the husband wife relationship."

"Media massa seperti drama Korea yang merupakan salah satu produk Korean Wave atau Hallyu kerap kali mengangkat realitas yang terjadi di masyarakat ke dalam karyanya. Drama Korea cenderung merefleksikan isu sosial masyarakat. Sebagai sebuah isu yang marak terjadi di Korea Selatan, perundungan sering kali diangkat dalam drama Korea yang sudah menjadi media hiburan bagi masyarakat global. Salah satu drama Korea yang mengangkat isu perundungan adalah D.P. dengan menunjukkan kepahitan yang dijalani para tentara selama menjalani wajib militer. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan bentuk dan penyebab perundungan yang terjadi di militer Korea Selatan dalam drama D.P. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra oleh Ian Watt. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa potongan adegan dan dialog pada setiap episode yang sudah dipilih dalam drama tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga jenis perundungan yang ditunjukkan dalam drama D.P., yaitu perundungan fisik, verbal, dan nonverbal. Penyebab perundungan yang ditunjukkan dalam drama D.P. adalah relasi kuasa, pengalaman sebagai korban perundungan, dan orientasi seksual.

Korean dramas, which are one of the products of the Korean Wave or Hallyu, often bring the reality that occurs in society into their work. Korean dramas tend to reflect the social issues of the society. As an issue that is happening in South Korea, bullying is often brought up in Korean dramas that have become entertainment media for the global community. One of the Korean dramas that brought up the issue of bullying is D.P. by showing the bitterness that soldiers go through during military service. The purpose of this study is to describe the forms and causes of bullying that occurred in the South Korean military in the Korean drama D.P. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literary sociology approach by Ian Watt. The data source of this research is in the form of cuts of scenes and dialog in each episode that has been selected in the drama. The results showed that there were three types of bullying shown in the drama D.P., which are physical, verbal, and nonverbal bullying. The causes of bullying shown in D.P.'s drama are power relations, experience as a victim of bullying, and sexual orientation."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari pengetahuan tentang bagaimana suatu negara menciptakan identitasnya dengan menggunakan “nation branding”. Studi ini berfokus menganalisa bagaimana Korea Selatan menggunakan “Korean Wave”, fenomena budayanya, dan media global, untuk mengubah identitas nasionalnya. Using the cultivation analysis theory, the study was carried out using literature reviews on journal databases, library catalogue and online newspaper databases. It examines how South Korea was visualised in media articles and research journals. Results revealed that South Korea has succeeded in changing its identity. In the past, South Korea was known for the Korean War and the severe financial crisis, but because the global phenomenon has had an impact on the tourism, economic and entertainment industries, South Korea is now known for its entertainment and tourism.

"ABSTRAKSejak tahun 1990-an, agen rahasia Korea Utara sudah menjadi isu yang terportret di film-film Korea Selatan. Eunmilhage Widaehage adalah film mengenai tiga agen rahasia Korea Utara yang mendapat tugas untuk menyusup ke sebuah pemukiman terpencil di Korea Selatan. Di berbagai media, agen rahasia Korea Utara sudah menjadi isu karena beberapa kasus yang terkait dengan agen rahasia Korea Utara. Namun, film Eunmilhage Widaehage menampilkan sosok agen rahasia Korea Utara dengan cara yang berbeda. Melalui pendekatan tokoh dan penokohan, jurnal ini akan membahas realitas obyektif dan naratif agen rahasia Korea Utara yang tercermin pada tokoh Won Ryu Hwan di dalam film Eunmilhage Widaehage. Hasil yang diperoleh dari tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Won Ryu Hwan adalah tokoh yang dinamis, kompleks, dan memperlihatkan beberapa karakteristik tertentu yang merepresentasikan seorang agen rahasia Korea Utara. Melalui tulisan ini, diharapkan pembaca dapat memperoleh pemahaman lebih mendalam tentang agen rahasia Korea Utara yang terpotret dalam film Eunmilhage Widaehage.

ABSTRACTSince 1990s, North Korean secret agent has been an issue displayed on South Korean film. Eunmilhage Widaehage is a film about three North Korean secret agents who have been tasked to infiltrate to a small town in South Korea. In various media, North Korea secret agents have been an issue due to the cases related with North Korea secret agents. However, Eunmilhage Widaehage portrayed an image of a North Korea secret agent in a different way. Through characteristic and characterization approach, this paper will discuss the objective and narrative reality of North Korean secret agent portrayed by character Won Ryu Hwan in the movie Eunmilhage Widaehage. The result of this paper shows that character Won Ryu Hwan is a dynamic, complex character, and displayed several characteristics which represents North Korean secret agent. Through this paper, hopefully reader could gain an insight about North Korean secret agent portrayed in movie Eunmilhage Widaehage."

"Perang Korea 1950-1953 menyebabkan kekacauan di Korea Selatan baik dari segi politik, ekonomi, maupun sosial. Selain masyarakat Korea Selatan pada umumnya, anak-anak merupakan korban yang paling menderita akibat perang. Tidak sedikit anak-anak yang terlantar di jalanan dengan keadaan yang memprihatinkan. Mereka kelaparan dan kedinginan, serta luka di tubuhnya. Bahkan, di antara mereka tidak sedikit yang akhirnya meregang nyawa. Dalam kondisi seperti itu, militer Amerika Serikat memberikan berbagai macam bantuan kepada masyarakat Korea Selatan, tidak terkecuali khusus bagi anak-anak yang menjadi korban perang. Kontribusi tersebut didukung oleh PBB, para misionaris Amerika, chaplain atau tentara pastor, berbagai macam organisasi Kristen di Amerika, serta pemerintah Korea Selatan. Sehubungan dengan hal itu, penelitian ini akan membahas peran kaum militer Amerika Serikat terhadap anak-anak Korea Selatan dalam Perang Korea. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah dengan menggunakan dokumen digital sebagai sumber data primer. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bantuan militer Amerika Serikat terhadap anak-anak Korea Selatan dalam masa Perang Korea bersifat kemanusiaan dan difokuskan pada penyembuhan trauma fisik dan psikis yang diwujudkan dengan upaya evakuasi, pengelolaan bantuan untuk panti asuhan, serta dukungan moral.

The 1950-1953 Korean War caused chaos in South Korea in terms of political, economic and social aspects. Apart from South Korean society in general, children were the victims who suffered the most from the war. Thousands of children were displaced on the streets with a state of concern. They were starving and cold with wounds on their bodies. In fact, lots of them ended up dying. In such conditions, the US Armed Forces provided various kinds of assistances to the people of South Korea, especially to the children who were also the victims of the war. The contribution was supported by United Nations, American missionaries, chaplains, various Christian organizations in America, and South Korean government. In this connection, this research will discuss the role of the United States Armed Forces towards South Korean children in the Korean War. The method used in this study is the historical method with digital documents as the primary data source. The results of this study explain that the aid rendered by the United States Armed Forces towards South Korean children, victims of the Korean War, was a humanitarian aid that was focused on the childrens physical and psychological trauma healing. They rescued and cared for the children, contributed to help the orphanages, and showered the children with moral supports."

Studi tentang perilaku konsumen eSports diperlukan untuk vitalisasi berkelanjutan industri eSports. Dalam studi ini, kita akan membahas faktor pengembangan e-sports di Korea melalui kasus Riot Games(League of Legends) dan berkaitan dengan faktor-faktor Tipping point(Malcomm galdwell). Studi ini diharapkan menjadi dasar dari studi pengembangan e-sports, dan arah masa depan e-sports akan menjadi dasar untuk menetapkan strategi untuk pemasaran ke arah mana.

ABSTRACTWith the introduction of e-Sports, games have emerged as a new public culture. Also, it has had positive effects on related industries including game, contents, broadcasting, IT and more. Studies on eSports consumer behavior are required for the continuous vitalization of the eSports industry. In this study, we will discuss the factors of e-sports development in Korea through the Riot Games (League of Legends) case and related to the Tipping pointfactors (Galdwell Malcomm).This study is expected to be the basis of the e-sports development study, and the future direction of e-sports will be the basis for establishing a strategy for marketing in which direction."
