Through analyzing particular scenes that involve the and affirms the objectification concept, and using Laura Mulvey rsquo;s framework of ldquo;male gaze rdquo; and Gaye Tuchman rsquo;s ldquo;women depiction by mass media, rdquo; this article aims to examine the form of women objectification and their position portrayed in this movie. This article reveals that the mise-en-scene of selected scenes and the characterization of particular female characters in the movie indicate the portrayal of women as powerless objects."
