"ABSTRAK
Sustainable tourism is an important pillar for the tourism development in each destination. The sustainability includes the perspective of economy, social-culture and evironment. As tourism in Bali Develops Cultural Tourism, it is indeed necessary to focus on the cultural impact. Tourists might bring their own culture, meanwhile hosts are regularly exposed by myriad different culture. The host must swiftly adapt, whilst also preserve their own culture from degradation. On the other side, guests are encouraged to follow the hosts' culture, however not all guest could respect and appreciate different culture. Therefore, this study analyzes how tourism which becomes the hub of indigenous and foreign cultures, could be enhanced through cross cultural understanding. Both host and guest play an important role to maintain the sustainable and responsile tourism by harmonizing the relationship in between. The study utilized quantitative and qualitative research by using the method of questionnaire dept-interview. Banyuatis as the research location is chosen because this touristic village is an emerging destination, which must be aware of foreign cultural exposure. The Finding suggests that cross cultural understanding between host and guest could provoke cross satisfaction. Tourism us regarded as successful if both host and guest are in balance to gain satisfaction."

"ABSTRAK
This article is based on a six-month study in North Bali, with the aim of identifying and explaining the opinions of Bali tourism stakeholders for the development of the international airport in North Bali. The research was conducted with quantitative and qualitative approach, through questionnaires and interview. Through the qualitative analysis, it can be concluded several things, as follows: (1) most of the Bali tourism stakeholders are strongly agree that government should build a new international airport in North Bali, by seeing its implication for tourism industry, economy, environment, and social as considerations; (2) most of the tourism stakeholders believe that the airport development can be built within at least five (5) years from now, meanwhile the supporting infrastructure should be put as main priorities; and (3) the tourism stakeholders in Bali strongly believe that development of international airport in North Bali could bring a positive situation, not only for local society, but for Bali itself, Indonesia, and increasing number of connectivity among South East Asian Countries."

"Penelitian ini menggunakan model Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) untuk menganalisis posisi daya saing Indonesia sebagai destinasi wisata populer di kawasan Asia Tenggara terhadap dua negara kompetitor utamanya. Model digunakan untuk mengestimasi sensitivitas permintaan pariwisata dari tujuh negara pasar utama wisatawan ke Indonesia, Thailand dan Malaysia, terhadap perubahan harga relatif efektif, total budget wisatawan dan pengaruh krisis ekonomi global. Hasil estimasi model memenuhi asumsi teori permintaan, yaitu homogeneity dan symmetry. Nilai elastisitas harga menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia memiliki posisi daya saing yang lebih baik dibandingkan Thailand dari perspektif wisatawan Australia dan Amerika, sedangkan Indonesia memiliki posisi daya saing yang lebih baik dibandingkan Malaysia dari perspektif wisatawan Amerika. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa harga pariwisata merupakan determinan utama yang mempengaruhi alokasi pengeluaran wisatawan di ketiga destinasi. Oleh karena itu, selain dengan meningkatkan kualitas jasa pariwisata yang ditawarkan, penting juga bagi para pembuat kebijakan di Indonesia untuk menentukan strategi penentuan harga yang tepat, sehingga akan dapat meningkatkan penerimaan devisa dari sektor pariwisata.

This study utilizes Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) models to examine Indonesia's competitiveness as a popular tourist destination in South East Asia in comparison with its main competitors. The models are used to quantify the responsiveness of tourism demand from seven major tourist origin markets in Indonesia, Thailand dan Malaysia to changes in relative effective prices, tourists expenditure budget and global economic crisis. Estimated models are in conformity with the basic postulates of consumer theory: homogeneity and symmetry. Price elasticity calculations suggest that Indonesia is more competitive than Thailand in the Australian and American tourists. While Indonesia is more competitive than Malaysia in the American tourists. The results also indicate that price is a key variable driving changes in market shares. Policymakers should pay particular attention to tourism pricing policies, as well as to improving tourism offer, in order to maximize gains from tourism."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi apakah kedatangan wisatawan mancanegara berpengaruh terhadap FDI sektor Pariwisata dan PDB sektor Pariwisata di Indonesia selama periode 2004 – 2020. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengestimasi seberapa besar dan berapa lama dampak penurunan kedatangan wisman akibat pandemi COVID-19 terhadap hubungan keseimbangan jangka panjang antara ked-atangan wisman, FDI sektor Pariwisata dan PDB sektor Pariwisata. Dengan menggunakan Granger Causality Test dan Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kedatangan wisatawan mancanegara mempengaruhi FDI sektor Pariwisata dan kemudian FDI sektor Priwisata mempengaruhi PDB sektor Pariwisata. Lebih lanjut, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam jangka panjang, pen-ingkatan 1 persen kedatangan wisman akan meningkatkan FDI Sektor Pariwisata sebesar 0.55 persen. Kemudian, peningkatan 1 persen FDI sektor Pariwisata akan meningkatkan PDB sektor Pariwisata sebesar 0.10 persen. Dalam jangka pendek (analisis bulanan), jika terjadi “guncangan” (shock) peningkatan kedatangan wisman, FDI sektor Pariwisata akan meningkat selama lima bulan berikutnya dan PDB sektor pariwisata akan meningkat selama 2 bulan dan 16 bulan setelah terjadinya kenaikan wisman. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa hubungan jangka panjang antara kedatangan wisman, FDI sektor pariwisata dan PDB sektor pariwisata ini akan pulih dalam waktu 38 bulan pasca pan-demi. Ini berarti, pemulihan sektor pariwisata pasca pandemi membutuhkan waktu sekitar tiga tahun jika tidak ada intervensi kebijakan percepatan pemulihan pariwisata.

This study aims to investigate whether the international tourist arrivals affect Tourism FDI and Tourism GDP of Tourism sector in Indonesia during the period 2004 – 2020. In addition, this study also aims to estimate how much and how long the impact of the decline in international tourist arrivals due to the COVID-19 pandemic on the long-term equilibrium between international tourist arrivals, Tourism FDI and Tourism GDP. By using the Granger Causality Test and Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), this study found that the international tourist arrivals affect Tourism FDI and Tourism FDI affects Tourism GDP. Furthermore, the results showed that in the long term, the increase of international tourist arrivals by one percent will increase Tourism FDI by 0.55 percent. Then, one percent increase of Tourism FDI will increase Tourism GDP by 0.10 percent. In the short term (monthly analysis), if there is a "shock" in the increase of international tourist arrivals, Tourism FDI will increase for the next five months, and Tourism GDP will also increase for 2 months and 16 months after the increase of international tourists. This study also found that the long-term equilibrium between international tourist arrivals, Tourism FDI, and Tourism GDP will recover within 38 months after the pandemic COVID-19. This means the tourism sector will need three years to recover after the pandemic ends if there is no policy intervention to accelerate tourism recovery."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan di dalam model consumer-based brand equity pada destinasi pariwisata alam di Indonesia dan mengambil studi kasus wisatawan nasional yang pernah berwisata ke Tebing Keraton. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah distribusi frekuensi, uji reliabilitas, validitas (analisis faktor), dan analisis regresi. IBM SPSS Statistics 20 digunakan sebagai alat bantu penelitian.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa destination brand awareness, destination brand image, dan destination brand value dapat mempengaruhi secara signifikan destination brand loyalty dalam konteks pariwisata, sedangkan destination brand quality tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap destination brand loyalty. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat dapat meningkatkan kesadaran (awareness), citra (image), dan nilai (value) pariwisata Tebing Keraton.

The purpose of this research is to know the variables that are significantly influencing the model of consumer-based brand equity on the nature tourism destination in Indonesia and take on the case study of national tourist who have been traveled to Tebing Keraton. Data analysis methods used are frequency distribution, reliability test, validity test (factor analysis), and regression analysis. IBM SPSS Statistics 20 used as a research tools.
The result of this research indicates that the destination brand loyalty are significantly influenced by destination brand awareness, destination brand image and destination brand value, whereas destination brand quality doesn`t have significant influence to destination brand loyalty. Recommendation from this research is The Tourism Service of Bandung District, West Java can raise the awareness, image, and value of Tebing Keraton.

"Dalam Rencana Induk Pembangunan Kepariwisataan Nasional Tahun 2010-2025, Ciwidey merupakan salah satu Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional di Jawa Barat. Permasalahan yang dialami untuk menuju kawasan wisata alam tersebut yaitu geometrik jalan yang sempit dan menanjak serta menjadi titik lokasi kemacetan terutama pada akhir pekan atau hari libur. Daya tarik suatu objek wisata menimbulkan permasalahan lalu lintas akibat bertambahnya jumlah kendaraan, maka diperlukan suatu solusi yang dapat mengintervensi kinerja jalan, yaitu dengan memperkenalkan sarana transportasi yang berkelanjutan dengan menerapkan park and ride dan penyediaan layanan shuttle pariwisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan meng-analisis faktor pengaruh pemilihan moda serta membentuk suatu model pemilihan moda antara kendaraan pribadi dan shuttle pariwisata pada layanan park and ride di Kabupaten Bandung. Dengan menggunakan skala Likert dan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process, hasil identifikasi dan analisis faktor pengaruh permilihan moda shuttle pariwisata pada layanan park and ride adalah keamanan park and ride, penghematan waktu perjalanan, dan biaya perjalanan. Faktor-faktor tersebut digunakan dalam pengembangan model logit biner melalui survei stated preference. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa model pengguna sepeda motor cenderung lebih sensitif terhadap tarif shuttle pariwisata dibandingkan pengguna mobil pribadi. Kesediaan membayar pengguna sepeda motor untuk berpindah ke shuttle pariwisata apabila penghematan waktu 0 menit adalah Rp. 7.750, 10 menit adalah Rp. 9.400, 20 menit adalah Rp. 11.050; dan kesediaan membayar pengguna mobil pribadi untuk berpindah ke shuttle pariwisata apabila penghematan waktu 0 menit adalah Rp. 11.400, 10 menit adalah Rp. 13.850, 20 menit adalah Rp. 16.250.

In the National Tourism Development Master Plan for 2010-2025, Ciwidey is one of the National Tourism Strategic Areas in West Java. The problems experienced to get to the natural tourism area are geometric narrow and uphill roads and become the location of congestion on weekends or holidays. The attractiveness of a tourist attraction causes traffic problems due to the increasing number of vehicles; a solution is needed that can intervene in road performance by introducing sustainable transportation facilities by implementing park and ride and providing tourism shuttle services. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence factors of mode selection and form a model of mode choice between private vehicles and tourism shuttles in park and ride services in Bandung Regency. Using the Likert scale and the Analytical Hierarchy Process method, the results of identification and analysis of factors for the selection of tourism shuttle modes in park and ride services are park and ride safety, travel time savings, and travel costs. These factors are used in the development of binary logit models through stated preference surveys. The results show that motorcycle user models tend to be more sensitive to tourism shuttle rates than private car users. Willingness to pay motorcycle users to switch to tourism shuttles if saving 0 minutes is Rp. 7.750, 10 minutes is Rp. 9.400, 20 minutes is Rp. 11.050; and the willingness to pay for private car users to switch to tourism shuttles if 0 minutes of time saving is Rp. 11.400, 10 minutes is Rp. 13.850, 20 minutes is Rp. 16.250."

Pariwisata sendiri merupakan kegiatan lintas sektor yang menjadi bagian dari komoditas industri Uni Eropa. Polandia, Hungaria, Republik Ceko, dan Slowakia merupakan Negata Anggota Uni Eropa yang tergabung dalam organisasi Visegrad Group. Sektor pariwisata di empat negara Visegrad Group masih mengejar ketinggalan dari negara-negara Eropa Barat. Pelaksanaan dan kebijakan pariwisata digital di setiap negara turut berperan dalam memajukan pariwisata mereka.

European Union issues communication Europe, the worlds No. 1 tourist destination to advance the tourism industry. The tourism industry digitalization program is part of sustainable tourism program. Tourism itself is a cross-sectoral activity that is part of the European Union industrial commodities. Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia are EU Member States that are members of the Visegrad Group. The tourism sector in the four Visegrad Group countries is still catching up with Western European countries. The implementation and policies of digital tourism in each country play a role in advancing their tourism.

"This study aimed to provide inputs for local government of Toba Samosir (Tobasa)  in preparing strategic development plan of tourist destinations in District Tobasa.  This study is a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and feedback from forum discussion groups with participants representing community leaders, indigenous peoples, governments and travel business.  Total participants are 15 people collected on June 1.2012 at Balige government office.  Discussion forums formulated nine locations of tourist destination spread in Toba Samosir.  As result this research, we formulated four strategic plans with tactical plans; (1) specifying and establish the location of tourist destinations in the District Tobasa: (2) submitting plans to the government budget or through the budget of Tobasa district in five years starting in 2014 to follow; (3) conducting government financing for infrastructure development and tourism industry participation; (4) doing tourism and cultural promotion.  We found limitations for the plan.  Some of them were:  the low budge provided by the District government so that we expected supports from domestic investors to development in the area.  Most activities were proposed under the action plan of both Tobasa District government and North Sumatra Government.  "

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permintaan pariwisata Indonesia dari 8 negara utama asal wisatawan di luar kawasan Asean yakni Tiongkok, Jepang, Korea Selatan, Inggris, Jerman, Perancis, Australia dan Amerika Serikat dalam upaya mendukung perencanaan pariwisata dan peningkatan kunjungan wisatawan ke Indonesia. Metode analisis ekonometrika ndash; Seemingly Unrelated Regression SUR digunakan untuk melihat dampak yang berbeda faktor ekonomi dan non ekonomi terhadap permintaan pariwisata di masing ndash; masing negara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa GDP, Harga relatif, harga relatif destinasi lain, harga tiket, kondisi krisis ekonomi dan kondisi keamanan memiliki dampak yang beragam terhadap permintaan pariwisata di masing masing negara. This research aim to analyze tourism demand for Indonesia from 8 main generating countries outside South East Asia region namely China, Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom UK , Germany, France, Australia dan United States of America USA based on panel data econometric analysis with Seemingly Unrelated Regression SUR to support tourism planning and increasing international visitor arrivals. This study investigates the effect of economic and non economics factors on tourism demand from each generating country. The result indicates various significant effect of GDP, relative price, relative price in other destination, transportation cost, economic crisis and political condition regarding terrorism on tourism demand from each generating countries. Keyword tourism demand, panel data, Seemingly Unrelated Regression.
