"Tingginya tingkat stres pada mahasiswa menunjukkan adanya ketidakmampuan untuk meregulasi emosi terhadap permasalahan akademik yang dialami. Perbedaan kemampuan regulasi emosi antar mahasiswa berhubungan dengan pola asuh yang diterapkan oleh orang tua kepada individu di masa lampau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara perceived parenting style dengan emotion regulation pada mahasiswa di Indonesia. Penelitian ini melibatkan 146 mahasiswa di Indonesia dengan rentang usia 18-25 tahun. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) dan Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ). Analisis statistik korelasi dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara perceived authoritative parenting style dengan strategi regulasi emosi cognitive reappraisal. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat perceived authoritative parenting style yang dipersepsikan, semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan individu untuk meregulasi emosi dengan tipe cognitive reappraisal. Hasil lainnya ditemukan bahwa perceived authoritarian parenting style tidak berhubungan dengan tipe regulasi emosi manapun. Penelitian ini mengimplikasikan bahwa authoritative parenting style dapat mempromosikan penggunaan cognitive reappraisal sebagai strategi regulasi emosi yang adaptif untuk mahasiswa.

The high levels of stress among university students indicate an inability to regulate emotions in response to academic problems experienced by individuals. Differences in emotion regulation abilities among students are related to the parenting styles applied by their parents in the past. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between perceived parenting style and emotion regulation among university students in Indonesia. The study involved 146 students in Indonesia, aged 18-25 years. The instruments used in this study were the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) and the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ). Correlation statistical analysis in this study showed a significant positive relationship between perceived authoritative parenting style and the emotion regulation strategy of cognitive reappraisal. This indicates that the higher the level of perceived authoritative parenting style, the higher the tendency for individuals to regulate their emotions using cognitive reappraisal. Other findings revealed that perceived authoritarian parenting style was not related to any type of emotion regulation. This study implies that authoritative parenting style can promote the use of cognitive reappraisal as an adaptive emotion regulation strategy for university students."

"Anak usia prasekolah rentan mengalami permasalahan regulasi emosi yang berdampak pada aspek psiko-sosial dan akademik, baik pada saat ini maupun usia mendatang. Regulasi emosi anak terbukti berhubungan dengan regulasi emosi ibu dan sosialisasi emosi juga terbukti mampu berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan ini. Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui peran sosialisasi emosi sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara regulasi emosi ibu dan anak usia prasekolah. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional ini melibatkan 205 ibu dari anak usia prasekolah (3-6 tahun) sebagai partisipan.
Hasil analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat direct effect yang signifikan antara regulasi emosi ibu dan anak usia prasekolah dan tidak terdapat indirect effect yang signifikan melalui sosialisasi emosi secara supportive, tetapi terdapat indirect effect yang ditemukan signifikan melalui sosialisasi emosi secara unsupportive dalam memediasi hubungan antara regulasi emosi ibu dan anak usia prasekolah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa regulasi emosi ibu tidak dapat berhubungan secara langsung dengan regulasi emosi anak usia prasekolah, tetapi harus melewati sosialisasi emosi secara unsupportive terlebih dahulu untuk berhubungan dengan regulasi emosi anak usia prasekolah.

Preschool-aged children are vulnerable to emotional regulation problems that have an impact on psycho-social and academic aspects, both now and in the future. Children's emotional regulation has been shown to be related to maternal emotion regulation and emotional socialization has also been shown to be able to act as a mediator in this relationship. The current study examined the role of emotion socialization as a mediator of the relations between maternal emotional regulation and emotion regulation of preschool-aged children. This quantitative study with a correlational design involved 205 mothers of preschool children (3-6 years old) as participants.
Results of the mediation analysis revealed that there was no significant direct effect between the maternal emotion regulation and preschool-aged children was not significant, and there was no significant indirect effect through supportive emotional socialization, whereas there was significant indirect effect through unsupportive emotional socialization in mediating the relationship between maternal emotion regulation and preschool-aged children. Therefore, it can be concluded that maternal emotional regulation cannot be directly related to emotional regulation of preschool-aged children, but must pass through unsupportive emotional socialization first to correlate with emotional regulation of preschool-aged children.

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian embodied cognition menjelaskan emosi dalam interaksi interpersonal melalui peran suhu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji bagaimana pengaruh pengalaman sensorik tubuh akan suhu dingin terhadap regulasi emosi, ketika individu merasakan emosi negatif.Studi eksperimen dilakukan dengan menggunakan manipulasi sensorik suhu dingin atau hangat dan induksi emosi agresif atau netral dalam bentuk non-situated cognition. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketika tubuh mengalami sensorik dingin dan mendapatkan induksi emosi agresif, mampu meningkatkan durasi respon dan lebih rendah merasakan marah, dibandingkan saat tubuh mengalami suhu hangat. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa pegalaman fisik terhadap suhu dingin mengaktifkan konsep regulasi emosi.

ABSTRACT
Embodied cognition research was aimed to test whether bodily sensoric of coldness influenced to emotional regulation process, particularly when the negative emotional state was applied to participant. This experimental study was applied temperature sensory manipulation cold versus warm with two different emotional induction anger versus neutral in a form of non situated cognition.The study was indicating that compared to a warm temperature, a cold sensory experience, which in the same time a negative emotional was inducted, significantly increased the response duration and reduced the intention of anger. The research findings demonstrated that bodily experience of coldness exposure activates the emotional regulation process."

"Pada anak usia prasekolah, regulasi emosi merupakan aspek penting dari perkembangan sosial anak. Secara khusus, regulasi emosi berperan sebagai kunci dari kemampuan anak dalam mengelola tuntutan dan konflik yang mereka hadapi ketika berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Ketidakmampuan untuk meregulasi emosi merupakan faktor risiko penting dalam pembentukan perilaku agresif di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas program dalam meningkatkan regulasi emosi pada anak. Penelitian ini merupakan one group pretest-posttest design yaitu menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimental tanpa adanya kelompok kontrol. Hasil dari pengolahan data wilcoxon signed rank test menunjukkan bahwa program regulasi emosi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan regulasi emosi anak usia prasekolah 3-4 tahun.

In preschoolers, emotional regulation is an important aspect of children 39 s social development. In particular, emotional regulation plays a key role in the ability of children to manage the demands and conflicts they face when interacting with others. The inability to regulate emotions is an important risk factor in the formation of aggressive behavior in the future. This study aims to see the effectiveness of the program in improving emotional regulation in children. This research is one pretest posttest design group that uses one experimental group without any control group. The results of the wilcoxon signed rank test showed that the emotional regulation program was effective in improving the emotional regulation ability for preschoolers 3 4 years."

"Perundungan oleh sebaya merupakan fenomena yang penting untuk dibahas karena dampaknya yang terbukti negatif pada regulasi emosi kognitif remaja akhir. Sementara itu, penelitian terdahulu menemukan bahwa perkembangan regulasi emosi kognitif dipengaruhi oleh sosialisasi emosi ibu. Penelitian ini ingin melihat peran moderasi sosialisasi emosi ibu terhadap hubungan antara perundungan oleh sebaya dan regulasi emosi kognitif remaja akhir. Remaja akhir (N=111) yang pernah mengalami perundungan di SMA diuji menggunakan Multidimensional Peer Victimization Scale (MPVS), Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ), dan Emotion as A Child Scale (EAC) Abbreviated version untuk mengukur pengalaman perundungan oleh sebaya, regulasi emosi kognitif, dan persepsi sosialisasi emosi ibu, secara berurutan. Analisis statistik simple moderation menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi emosi suportif ibu memoderasi hubungan perundungan oleh sebaya dan regulasi emosi kognitif kurang adaptif. Penelitian ini memiliki kekurangan yaitu perundungan oleh sebaya diukur secara retrospektif sehingga pemaknaan partisipan terhadap ingatan pengalaman perundungan mereka dapat mempengaruhi hasil penelitian. Selanjutnya, penelitian terkait perundungan sebaiknya dilakukan dalam rentang waktu yang tidak terlalu jauh dari pengalaman partisipan.

Peer victimization is an important phenomenon to be discussed since it has proven to be harmful to adolescents’ cognitive emotion regulation. Meanwhile, studies have shown that the development of cognitive emotion regulation is influenced by maternal emotion socialization. This study aimed to explore the role of maternal emotion socialization in moderating the relationship of peer victimization and cognitive emotion regulation of late adolescents. Late adolescents (N=111) who have experienced peer victimization in high school were tested with Multidimensional Peer Victimization Scale (MPVS), Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (CERQ), and Emotion as A Child Scale (EAC) Abbreviated version to measure peer victimization, cognitive emotion regulation, and maternal emotion socialization, respectively. Simple moderation analysis showed that maternal emotion socialization moderates peer victimization and maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation. Current research has a limitation in which peer victimization was measured retrospectively, thus adolescents’ meaning of their memories being victimized could affect the research’s result. Furthermore, research in peer victimization should be done in which peer victimization takes place."

"Disabilitas intelektual merupakan kondisi dimana seseorang mengalami keterbatasan pada fungsi kognitif, adaptif, dan adanya keterlambatan pada perkembangan yang terjadi sebelum usia 18 tahun. Salah satu hal yang menyangkut fungsi-fungsi tersebut dan biasanya bermasalah pada penyandang disabilitas intelektual ringan adalah regulasi emosi.
Regulasi emosi merupakan kemampuan seseorang untuk menahan diri terhadap perilaku yang tidak sesuai terkait dengan emosi negatif ataupun positif yang dirasakan, mengatur diri supaya tidak tergantung dengan suasana hati, menenangkan diri ketika muncul emosi yang kuat, dan memfokuskan atensi ketika muncul emosi yang kuat.
Regulasi emosi sangat dibutuhkan untuk beradaptasi hingga menjaga hubungan dengan orang lain. Intervensi yang dapat digunakan untuk menangani masalah regulasi emosi adalah pemberian pelatihan sistem keterampilan regulasi emosi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain single subject.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan sistem keterampilan regulasi emosi memberikan dampak positif pada aspek kognitif dan perilaku subjek. Penggunaan sistem keterampilan dalam keseharian juga berkaitan dengan peranan orang-orang di sekitar subjek yang memahami cara penggunaan keterampilan dan mengingatkannya pada subjek.

Intellectual disability is a condition where someone experiences deficits in intellectual functions, adaptive functions, and onset of these deficits during the developmental period before the age of eighteen . One of the things that are related to the functions and become problems for children with mild intellectual disability is the emotion regulation.
Emotion regulation is someone rsquo s ability to refrain himself from improper behavior concerning negative and positive emotions that he feels, to manage himself so that he does not depend on his mood condition, to calm down himself when strong emotion arises, and to focus his attention when strong emotion appears.
Emotion regulation is extremely needed for adaptation in order to maintain relations with other people. Intervention that can be used to handle emotion regulation problem for children with intellectual disability is by giving emotion regulation skills system training. This research uses single subject design.
The result of this research shows that emotion regulation skills system training gives positive impacts on cognitive and behavior aspects of the subject. The application of these skills in daily life is also related to the roles of people around the subject who can understand how to apply the skills and remind the subject.
