"Pothos scandens L. is a species of the Araceae that has medicinal uses. Unfortunately, there are no P. scandens collections in the " Eka Karya" Botanic Gardens in Bali. Recently, a team explored the Merbuk Mountain, in Jembrana District, Bali and found one population of P. scandens in the forest. Pothos scandens Linn needs to be conserved and given wide publicity, because it has high potential benefits as a medicinal plant."

"ABSTRAKGaharu is a fragrant wood that has been used in religious, medicinal and aromatic properties. Six genera (24 species) of the family Thymelaeaceae (Aetoxylon, Aquilaria, Enkleia, Gyrunops, Gonystylus, Gyrinops, and Gonystylus (9 species) are cultivated in the Bogor Botanical Garden. All species og Aquilaria and Gyrinops were listed in appendix II of the CITES. "

"Fenologi adalah telaah penampakan periodisitas pada tumbuhan dalam hubungannya dengan iklim, seperti waktu pembungaan dan flushing. Flushing yaitu pertumbuhan tunas/flush secara serempak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengamati pertumbuhan tunas daun dalam merespon intensitas cahaya dengan posisi tumbuh berbeda dan faktor lingkungan yang mempengaruhinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pengambilan purposive sampling, flush dibedakan posisi tumbuhnya yaitu terminal dan aksilar dalam kondisi terpapar dan ternaungi. Laju tumbuh Amherstia nobilis Wall. dan Brownea capitella Jacq. di daerah terpapar cahaya lebih cepat dibandingkan daerah ternaungi. Laju pertumbuhan diiringi dengan perubahan warna. Perubahan warna pada daun A. nobilis berlangsung selama dua bulan lebih cepat dari B. capitella. Intensitas cahaya dan posisi tumbuh (terminal dan aksilar) berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan kedua spesies. ABSTRAKPhenology is a study on periodicity sightings of plants in relation to climates, such as flowering time and flushing. Flushing means the growth of shoots/ flush simultaneously. This study aims to observe the shoots and leaves growth in response to light intensity under the difference of growing positions and environmental factors. This study used purposive sampling as a descriptive method. The growing positions of flush were on terminal and axillary of the plant, both in exposed and shaded conditions. The growth pace speeds of Amherstia nobilis Wall. and Brownea capitella Jacq. in exposed condition were faster than shaded condition. The rate of growth was accompanied by a change of color. The changing color of A. nobilis leaves were faster for two months than B. capitella. This study showed that light intensity and growing positions of the plants (terminal and axillary) influenced the growth of both species. "

This paper provides general information on visitors profile participated in educational tour within the garden from 2010-2016. "ABSTRAKUlin Wood or Eusideroxlyn Zwageri (Teijsm. & Binn.) is a member of Lauraceace which endemic from Kalimantan Islan. Its already known as wood with good quality widely used, so that become category of nerable (vulnerable). Eusideroxlyon zwageri with recalcitrant seeds is chalenge in seed storage as ex situ conservation. In support of this, the seed Bank of Bogor Botanical Garden made an effort to store recalcitrant seed from Eusideroxlylon zwageri with the addition of spaghnum moss media and store at 16-18 C / humidity (RH) 55-65%, with periodic germination was carried out. Seed sorage of E. zwageri from february 5, 2016 (MC = 92.25%) until august 12, 2017 (MC = 46%) with 6 germination tests were conducted 100% of the seeds germinated well, while the 7 th germination on april 6, 2017 (KA=41.83%) only 70% germinate"
