"Apoteker memiliki peranan penting di apotek, distributor, dan industri farmasi. Oleh karena itu, seorang apoteker harus memenuhi sepuluh standar kompetensi apoteker sebagai persyaratan untuk menjalani praktik profesi. Sebagai bekal dan pengalaman calon apoteker untuk dapat memahami perannya serta meningkatkan kompetensi, maka dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Apotek Hidup Baru, PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari, dan PT Astrazeneca Indonesia selama periode bulan Februari-Mei 2019. Selama PKPA, calon apoteker diharapkan untuk dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja profesi.

Pharmacists have an important role in pharmacy, distributor, and pharmaceutical industry. Therefore, a pharmacist has to meet the ten pharmacist competency standards as a requirement for undergoing professional practice. As a preparation and experience of prospective pharmacists to be able to understand their role and increase competence, the Internship programmes are implemented at Apotek Hidup Baru, PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari, and PT Astrazeneca Indonesia during the February-May 2019 period. During Internship programmes, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to broadening the insight, understanding and experience to do pharmaceutical work in professional workplaces."

"ABSTRAKSeorang Apoteker memegang peranan penting di Rumah Sakit, Apotek, dan Puskesmas. Apoteker harus memenuhi standar komptensi sebagai persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalani praktik profesi. Standar kompetensi Apoteker di Indonesia terdiri dari sepiluh standar kompetensi sebagai kemampuan yang diharapkan Apoteker saat lulus dan masuk ke tempat praktik kerja profesi. Maka dari itu untuk dapat memahami peran, fungsi, dan tugas Apoteker dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Apotek Hidup Baru, Puskesmas Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan, dan Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak SamMarie selama periode bulan Januari-April 2019.

ABSTRACT

A pharmacist plays important role in hospital, pharmacy, and health center. Pharmacist must meet competency standrads as requairement for entering the workforce and undergoing professional practice. Pharmacist competency standards in Indonesia consist of ten standards as the capabilities that Pharmacist expect during graduating and entering professional work practice. Therefore, to be able understand the roles, functions, and duities of Pharmacist, internships are carried out at Apotek Hidup Baru, Mampang Prapatan Public Health Care, and SamMarie Basra Mother and Child Hospital during Junary-April 2019 period."

"Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di Apotek Hidup Baru bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan ikut serta dalam pelaksanaan standar pelayanan kefarmasian di apotek yang meliputi pengelolaan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan dan Bahan Medis Habis Pakai (BMHP) serta pelayanan farmasi klinis. Apoteker dituntut untuk memahamipengelolaan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan dan Bahan Medis Habis Pakai (BMHP) dari mulai perencanaan, pengadaan, penerimaan, penyimpanan, pemusnahan, pengendalian, pencatatan dan pelaporan. Selain itu, apoteker dituntut untuk dapat melaksanakan pelayanan farmasi klinis dari mulai pengkajian resep, dispensingPelayanan Informasi Obat (PIO), konseling, pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah, Pemantauan Terapi Obat (PTO) dan Monitoring Efek Samping Obat (MESO). Tugas Khusus yang diberikan berupa Pembuatan Brosur Seledri Sebagai Herbal AntiHipertensi dengan tujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan kepada pasien yang datang ke apotek, khususnya pasien hipertensi tentang seledri yang dapat digunakan untuk meringankan penyakit hipertensi.

The internship at Apotek Hidup Baru aims to find out and participate in the implementation of pharmaceutical service standards at the pharmacy which includes the management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and consumable medical materials and clinical pharmacy. Pharmacists are required to understand themanagement of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and medical consumables from planning, procurement, receiving, storing, destroying, controlling, recording and reporting. In addition, pharmacists are required to be able to carry out clinical pharmacy services from prescription assessment, dispensing, drug information services, counseling, home pharmacy care, drug therapy monitoring and drug side effect monitoring. The special task given is in the form of making celery brochures as anti-hypertensive herbs with the aim of providing counseling to patients who come to pharmacies, especially hypertensive patients about celery which can be used to alleviate hypertension."

Pharmacists must meet competency standards as a requirement for entering the workforce and undergoing professional practice. Indonesian pharmacist competency standards consist of ten (10) competency standards as abilities expected by pharmacists when they graduate and enter professional work practices. As a preparation and experience of prospective pharmacists to be able to understand the role of pharmacists and improve competence, an internship was conducted at the New Life Pharmacy, National Center General Hospital of Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo, and Kebayoran Lama Community Health Center. During internship, it is expected that pharmacist candidates can broaden their horizons, understandings and experiences to do pharmaceutical work in professional workplaces."

Selain itu, melalui praktek kerja ini diharapkan calon apoteker memahami tanggung jawab apoteker dalam melakukan praktek pelayanan kefarmasian sesuai dengan ketentuan perundang-undangan dan etika yang berlaku khususnya pada pelayanan kefarmasian di Apotek. Tugas khusus yang diberikan berjudul Pembuatan Standar Prosedur Operasional (SOP) dan Pelaksanaan Pemusnahan Obat Kedaluwarsa di Apotek Hidup Baru Periode Agustus 2019. Tujuan penyusunan tugas khusus ini adalah untuk menyusun SOP Pemusnahan Obat yang sesuai dengan persyaratan regulasi yang berlaku dan menerapkan SOP yang sudah disusun.

Pharmacist internship at Apotek Hidup Baru aims to know and understand the role and responsibility of Pharmacist in managing the pharmacy. In addition trough this Internship a future pharmacist also could understand the pharmaceutical care practice in pharmacy. The internship given a special assignment titled Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Implementation of Destruction of Expired Drugs at Apotek Hidup Baru for the Period of August 2019. The purpose of this particular assignment is to prepare the SOP for drug destruction in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and apply the SOP that has been prepared."

"Apoteker berperan penting dalam dunia kesehatan terutama mengenai sediaan kefarmasian baik di industri farmasi, apotek, maupun pemerintahan. Apoteker dalam melaksanakan tugasnya haruslah memenuhi standar komptensi yang telah ditetapkan. Pelaksanaan praktik kerja profesi apoteker ini bertujuan dalam membantu calon apoteker memahami peran apoteker sebagai bekal menghadapi dunia kerja. Praktik kerja profesi apoteker dilaksanakan di Apotek Atrika, Suku Dinas Kesehatan Kota Administrasi Jakarta Timur, dan PT. Eisai Indonesia selama periode bulan Februari-Mei 2019. Selama praktik kerja, calon apoteker diharapkan dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja profesi.

Pharmacists play an important role in the world of health, especially regarding pharmaceutical preparations in the pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy and government. Pharmacists in carrying out their duties must meet the competency standards that have been set. Implementation of the internship of pharmacist profession aims to help prospective pharmacists understand the role of pharmacists as a provision to face the world of work. The internship of the pharmacist profession are carried out at the Atrika Pharmacy, East Jakarta Administrative Office of Health, and PT. Eisai Indonesia during the period from February to May 2019. During the work practice, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to broaden their horizons, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in professional workplaces."

Apoteker perlu memenuhi standar kompetensi sebagai persyaratan dalam memenuhi dunia kerja dan menjalankan praktik kefarmasiannya. Apoteker Indonesia memiliki sepuluh (10) standar kompetensi yang perlu dikuasai oleh setiap apoteker ketika lulus sehingga siap masuk ke dalam tempat praktik kerja profesi nantinya. Namun, dibutuhkan tambahan sebagai bekal dan pengalaman bagi para calon apoteker untuk lebih dapat memahami peran apoteker. Oleh sebab itu, dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Apotek Kimia Farma No. 5, PT. Mahakam Beta Farma, dan Suku Dinas Kesehatan Jakarta Selatan selama periode bulan Februari-Mei 2019. Diharapkan para calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman, serta keterampilan praktik kerja kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja selama PKPA.

ABSTRACT

A Pharmacist has an important role in a pharmacy world, like Industry, pharmacy/drug store, and also in government. Every pharmacist need to fullfill their competencies standard as a requirement to do pharmacy works. In Indonesia, there are ten (10) standard which every pharmacist has to overcome before they ready to work. However instead of all, as a Pharmacist still need to have an experience to work in a pharmacy world so they can be more acknowledge their role. Therefore, Internship at Apotek Kimia Farma No. 5, PT. Mahakam Beta Farma, and The South Jakarta Administration City Health Office was held on the period of February-May 2019. From this internship, each pharmacist was expected to expand their insight, understanding, and skills in the workplace. "
