"ABSTRACT
The control chart is one of the important industrial tools used for monitoring the manufacturing process. The performance of control chart may enhance when some additional information about variable under study is available. In this article, a new two parametric ratio estimator is introduced to design the exponentially weighted moving average control chart. The proposed control chart is more efficient than the existing control chart in detecting small and moderate shifts in the process mean at Phase II. The application of proposed control chart in the industry is given with the aid of a real example."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pembutan serious simulation game peranan manajemen armada dalam distribusi. Manajemen armada merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam distribusi karena berkaitan dengan kapasitas distribusi, penjadwalan pengiriman dan pemeliharaan kendaraan. Belum adanya serious simulation game yang membahas peranan manajemen armada. Penelitian ini menggagaskan media pembelajaran manajemen armada menggunakan serious simulation game. Penelitian ini menggunakan media permainan papan sebagai sarana pembuatan permainan. Berdasarkan hasil ketika menjalankan permainan, serious simulation game peranan manajemen armada ini sudah cukup menggambarkan dan dapat menyampaikan poin pembelajaran yang terdapat pada permainan.

This research discusses the designing of serious simulation game the role of fleet management in distribution and logstic. The main factors in transportation are the distribution capacity, operational of fleet, and fleet maintenance. Those are the top element in fleet management. Serious simulation games that concern in distribution and logistic has not reach the fleet management factors. This paper answer the need of learning media in teaching the role of fleet management in distribution and logistic. This research use board game as a media in building the game. The pilot testing result of this game shows that this game can accommodate the learners need in fleet management role in distribution and logistic.

"Seleksi OEM adalah metode pemilihan yang unik, kombinasi dari pemilihan lokasi dan pemilihan pemasok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari lokasi pabrik obat tradisional di Indonesia menggunakan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan menentukan perusahaan Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) dengan menggunakan metode Analytic Network Process (ANP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memiliki bobot tertinggi dalam menentukan lokasi obat tradisional adalah ketersediaan bahan baku, akses transportasi dan biaya tenaga kerja sedangkan faktor biaya , kualitas dan kapabilitas merupakan faktor dengan bobot tertinggi. Kombinasi dari faktor-faktor ini menunjukkan bahwa lokasi pabrik terbaik untuk pengembangan obat tradisional adalah provinsi Jawa Tengah dan perusahaan OEM obat tradisional terbaik adalah PT AM, Karanganyar. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk memberikan wawasan kepada perusahaan obat tradisional di Indonesia mengenai pentingnya menentukan lokasi pabrik dan perusahaan OEM untuk membangun strategi kompetitif dalam menghadapi persaingan dari pesaing.

OEM selection is a unique selection method, a combination of site selection and supplier selection. This study aims to find the location of traditional medicines factory in Indonesia using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and determine the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) traditional medicines company using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. The results showed that the factors that had the highest weight in determining the location of traditional medicines factory were the availability of raw materials, transportation access and labor costs while the cost, quality and capability factors were the highest weighting factors. The combination of these factors shows that the best factory location for the development of traditional medicine is the province of Central Java and the best OEM traditional medicine company is PT AM, Karanganyar. This research is useful to provide insight to traditional medicines companies in Indonesia about the importance of determining factory locations and OEM companies to develop competitive strategies in the face of competition from competitors."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja perokson dalam menyisihkan COD dan TSS dari limbah cair industri tahu. Variasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah variasi metode (perokson, ozonasi, dan H2O2 saja), rasio H2O2/O3 (1; 0,8; 0,6; 0,4), dosis ozon (124 mg/jam dan 266 mg/jam), dan pengadukan. Sampel diuji selama 120 menit dengan rentang pengambilan sampel pada menit ke-0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, dan 120. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan penyisihan COD paling optimum dengan menggunakan dosis ozon 266 mg/jam sebesar 1177,28 mg/L. Rasio H2O2/O3 yang paling optimum yaitu 0,4 sebesar 1034,28 mg/L dibandingkan dengan ozonasi sebesar 492,8 mg/L dan H2O2 saja sebesar 169,6 mg/L. Penyisihan TSS yang paling optimum didapatkan pada rasio 0,4 dengan dosis ozon 126 mg/L sebesar 433 mg/L dibandingkan dengan ozonasi sebesar 182 mg/L, H2O2 sebesar 104 mg/L dan tanpa pengaduk sebesar 192 mg/L. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa proses perokson yang paling optimum untuk penyisihan TSS dan COD dengan rasio 0,4.

ABSTRACT
This research aimed to evaluate the performance perokson remove COD and TSS in wastewater from tofu industry. Variations were used in this study is a variation of methods (peroxone, ozonation and H2O2 alone), the ratio of H2O2/O3 (1; 0.8; 0.6; 0.4), dosage ozone (124 mg/hour and 266 mg/h), and stirring. Samples were tested for 120 minutes with a sampling rate at minute 0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, and 120. From this research, the most optimum COD removal using ozone dose of 266 mg/hour of 1177.28 mg/L. The ratio of H2O2/O3 most optimum of 0.4 at 1034.28 mg/L compared with ozonation of 492.8 mg/L and H2O2 alone amounted to 169.6 mg/L. TSS removal most optimum is obtained at a ratio of 0.4 with ozone dose of 126 mg/L at 433 mg/L compared with ozonation of 182 mg/L, H2O2 at 104 mg/L and without stirrer at 192 mg/L. From this research, it was found that the most optimum perokson for TSS and COD removal in the ratio of 0.4.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ukuran bank, rasio modal, profitabilitas dan kepemilikan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengungkapan istilah risiko pada perbankan di Indonesia. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan model regresi berganda data panel dari 120 observasi berupa bank-bank yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2008 - 2011. Pengukuran risiko setiap bank dilakukan dengan menghitung seberapa banyak kata setiap jenis risiko disebutkan dalam laporan tahunan sebuah bank. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan bukti empiris bahwa hanya ukuran bank yang mempengaruhi tingkat pengungkapan istilah risiko bank. Pengujian tambahan terhadap tingkat pengungkapan masing-masing jenis risiko bank juga membuktikan hanya variabel ukuran bank yang mempunyai pengaruh. Sedangkan variabel rasio modal, profitabilitas dan kepemilikan bank tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat pengungkapan istilah risiko suatu bank.

The objective of this research is to analyze whether the bank size, capital ratio, profitability and bank ownership have an impact to term of risk disclosure level in Indonesian banking industry. The hypothesis testing uses multiple regression panel data model of 120 observations of banks listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period 2008 - 2011. The measurement of risk is tested by counting how many times word of each type of bank risks are mentioned in the annual report. The empirical result shows that only bank size effects the bank term of risk disclosure level. The additional testing for disclosure of each type of bank risks also shows that only bank size that has influence. The capital ratio, profitability and bank ownership do not effect the bank term of risk disclosure level."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh peningkatan ketepatan waktu pelayanan jasa service delivery kepada konsumennya pada perusahaan jasa pembasmi hama.Tesis ini akan memperlihatkan aktifitas pemborosan (waste) yang menyebabkan ketidakcapainya waktu service delivery yang diberikan oleh teknisi kepada setiap segmen konsumennya terhadap waktu service delivery yang sudah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan.
Perbaikan yang dilakukan untuk tercapainya ketepatan waktu service delivery yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan dengan teknisi lapangannya adalah menggunakan pendekatan lean service dan analisa Six Sigma yang mudah diaplikasikan yang berfungsi untuk mempermudah dalam penentuan kategori aktifitas kerja. Peningkatan ketepatan waktu ini dilakukan dengan mengklasifikasi 3 kriteria aktifitas waktu nilai tambah yaitu non value added (NVA), business value added (BVA),dan value added (VA).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan berdasarkan analisa six sigma, aktifitas yang memiliki klasifikasi aktifitas business value added dapat dikurangi waktu pekerjaannya, sehingga sisa waktu yang berlebih dapat digunakan untuk aktifitas value added (VA) yang kemudian dapat diketahui perbaikan nilai variasi dan sigma nya.

The objective of research is to obtain an improvement on pest control services punctuality based on company achievement target using an approachment in lean service and Six sigma analysis. In this tesis will be showing that waste activity is the reason why technician can not achieve in punctuality. Theanalysis method could be adopted easily and became additional value for the company and its clients.
The punctuality improvement have applied with classifying 3 criteria of work time activities, which one "Non-Value Added (NVA)", "Business Value Added (BVA)", and "Value Added (VA)".
Outcomes from he research have point out that the activity which classified as
"Business Value Added (BVA)" could have work time reduction, therefore excessive time left will be optimized for Value Added (VA) activity.

"ABSTRACT
In spite of abundant experimental evidences supporting the viability of the laser
induced shock wave plasma model for the explanation of the important features ofthe
plasma and the associated spectroscopic characteristics, a controversy on the atomic
excitation mechanism in the plasma has remained to be completely resolved. In this
study the contributions of the shock wave model and two other most popular models,
the electron-ion recombination model and thc electron collision model were
thoroughly investigated. For that purpose, a special technique has been developed for
the direct detection of the charge current in conjunction with plasma emission
measurement dining the laser plasma generation and expansion. The current detection
was performed by placing a partially transmitting metal mesh electrode at a distance
in front of the sample surface with the sample target sewing as the counter electrode.
The electric Held between the mesh and sample surface was set up and varied by
applying a variable DC voltage (0-400 Volt) between them. The laser plasma was
generated by a YAG laser (64 ml, 8 ns) tightly focused on a Cu target through the
mesh electrode in low-pressure surrounding gas. It was found that the charge current
time profiles obtained at various gas pressures invariably exhibit a lack of consistent
correlation with the emission time profile of the plasma throughout most of the
emission period. The result of this study has thus practically eliminated any
significant roles ofthe electron-ion recombination and electron collision models in the
excitation process. We are therefore led to conclude that the shock wave model
proposed earlier is most plausible for the consistent explanation of the secondary
plasma emission, while the other two models may have some contribution only at the
very initial stage ofthe secondary plasma generation.
