"This book introduces the concept of using drones as a teaching tool to explore the fundamental principles, technology and applications of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS).
A short introduction sets CPS in the context of the 4th industrial revolution, and describes various CPS technologies including self-driving cars, commercial intelligent drones and mobile robots, in which artificial intelligence routinely supports smarter decision-making. The core of the book then focuses on commercially available drones, the only available system offering the advantage of cyber-physical bridging through 3D autonomous dynamic flying in classroom conditions. Chapters describe drone technology, including location sensors and imaging systems. CPS theory is explained through typical drone flying procedures and do-it-yourself (DIY) aerial photography in which communication between sensors, actuators and controllers occurs through cyber-physical bi-directional bridging."

"This book provides a system-level approach to making packaging decisions for millimeter-wave transceivers. In electronics, the packaging forms a bridge between the integrated circuit or individual device and the rest of the electronic system, encompassing all technologies between the two. To be able to make well-founded packaging decisions, researchers need to understand a broad range of aspects, including: concepts of transmission bands, antennas and propagation, integrated and discrete package substrates, materials and technologies, interconnects, passive and active components, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of various packages and packaging approaches, and package-level modeling and simulation. Packaging also needs to be considered in terms of system-level testing, as well as associated testing and production costs, and reducing costs. This peer-reviewed work contributes to the extant scholarly literature by addressing the aforementioned concepts and applying them to the context of the millimeter-wave regime and the unique opportunities that this transmission approach offers."

"Teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) memiliki potensi untuk merevolusi berbagai industri, termasuk pemantauan kualitas air.

The Internet of Things (IoT) technology has the potential to revolutionize various industries, including water quality monitoring. This research proposes an IoT-based water quality monitoring system using Low-Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) technology. The system consists of IoT devices equipped with sensors to measure various water quality parameters, such as pH, temperature, and turbidity. The collected data is sent to the central server using LoRaWAN technology, which allows for long-range communication with low power consumption. The data is then analyzed and processed to provide real-time information on water quality to stakeholders. The proposed system provides an effective and efficient solution for water quality monitoring in remote areas with limited internet access, where conventional monitoring systems may be less effective due to limited infrastructure.

The wood and wood products industry in Indonesia has experienced a decline in revenue in the last 3 years, with quarterly growth observed in 2021. The piano component market growth as one of the end products of the wood and wood products industry is driven by several factors such as the development of the entertainment and media industry, rising disposable income per capita, and growing consumer preference for high-quality products. This study aims to design improvements to the piano sound board production process by utilizing Internet of Things to automate production process management, to improve production quality, and to increase process time efficiency and resource allocation. The Business Process Reengineering (BPR) method is used to design improvements to the piano soundboard production process using iGrafx software. The reengineering is designed by simulating three production process improvement scenarios. The simulation results show that the scenario for improving the piano soundboard production process with the best change is scenario 3 which combines vacuum drying, automated monitoring system, and automated grading system with the result of a change in cycle time of 79.28% from 1256.27 hours to 260.33 hours. However, the most financially feasible improvement scenario for the company to implement is scenario 2 which combines vacuum drying and automated monitoring system with the result of a 73.83% change in cycle time from 1256.27 hours to 328.71 hours. The initial investment cost for the scenario implementation was Rp13.55 billion with a payback period of 1.8 years. Design of the management information system is carried out through entity relationship diagram (ERD), relational database, use case diagram, and data flow diagram to support business process improvements.
