"ABSTRAK
Pada tugas akhir ini, saya menganalisa probabilitas outage dari teknologi full-duplex dengan menggunkan sistem MIMO (2x2) dengan memperhatikan faktor dari self-interference. Faktor self-interference pada tugas akhir ini diasumsikan telah ditekan dengan menggunakan active dan passive cancellation. Diasumsikan kanal yang dilalui sinyal antar 2 node merupakan kanal Rayleigh dan kanal yang dilalui sinyal interferensi merupakan kanal Rician. Selanjutnya, akan diperhatikan nilai dari probabilitas outage akibat dampak dari perubahan faktor K, 𝛾̅ɑ adalah SINR (Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio), threshold rate (R) dan jumlah antena (N). Pada hasil perhitungan dengan nilai dari K = 35 dB atau lebih serta SINR = 70 dB dan R = 10 bps/Hz, probabilitas outage bernilai lebih dari 10-2 namun, dengan nilai SINR = 70 dB dan R = 10 bps/Hz, probabilitas outage bernilai lebih kecil dari 10-4 untuk nilai K = 15 dB atau kurang, maka didapat bahwa probabilitas outage meningkat jika nilai K meningkat. Selanjutnya, dengan nilai K = 10 dB didapat nilai dari probabilitas outage sebesar 10-4 ketika nilai SINR = 60 dB dan probabilitas outage sebesar 10-6 ketika nilai SINR = 70 dB, maka didapat probabilitas outage menurun jika nilai SINR meningkat. Hasil perhitungan lainnya dengan nilai K = 10 dB, didapat nilai dari probabilitas outage lebih dari 0,2 ketika nilai R = 6 bps/Hz dan probabilitas outage sebesar 0,8 ketika nilai R = 8 bps/Hz, didapatkan Probabilitas outage meningkat jika nilai R meningkat. Selanjutnya, dengan nilai K = 15 dB dan R = 20 bps/Hz, didapatkan nilai probabilitas outage sebesar 0,4, namun ketika nilai dari K = 15 dB dan R = 20 bps/Hz, nilai dari probabilitas outage dibawah 0,1, maka probabilitas outage menurun jika nilai N meningkat.

ABSTRACT
In this report, I analyze an outage probability in bidirectional nirkabel communication using full-duplex MIMO system with consider effect of self-interference. The self-interference in this report is mitigated by active and passive cancellation, yet there is still interference happens in this system, called residual interference. Assumed, transmit information signal (channel between node-1 and node-2) using Rayleigh fading channel and express interference signal stream using Rician fading channel. I derive a closed-form solution of outage probability towards effect of Rician factor (K), γ̅ɑ is SINR (Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio), threshold rate (R) and number of antenna (N). With SINR is 70 dB and R is 10 bps/Hz, value of outage probability is more than 10-2, yet with SINR is 70 dB and R is 10 bps/Hz, we get value of probability is below 10-2 for value of K is 15 dB or below, we obtain that value of outage probability increases when we increasing value of K. At value of K is 10 dB, we get outage probability is 10-4 when SINR is 60 dB and outage probability is 10-6 when SINR is 70 dB, from the result we conclude that for certain value of R, as SINR increases outage probability decreases for given K. Furthermore, at value of K is 10 dB, we get outage probability is more than 0.2 when R is 6 bps/Hz and outage probability is 0.8 when R is 8 bps/Hz. We get that as threshold rate increases outage probability increases for given SINR. Moreover, at value of K is 15 dB and R is 20 bps/Hz, we get outage probability is 0.4 but when value of K is 15 dB and R is 20 bps/Hz, we get outage probability is below 0.1. We obtain that increases number of antenna will decreases value of outage probability."

"Implementasi layanan 3G di Indonesia memerlukan sebuah jaminan kualitas layanan bagi para pelanggannya yang di dalam istilah telekomunikasi biasa dikenal dengan sebutan QoS (Quality of Service). Salah satu cara pengukuran Nilai QoS adalah drive test, yaitu sebuah metode pengukuran trafik yang dilakukan dari satu wilayah ke wilayah lain dengan cara berpindah tempat atau mobile baik menggunakan kendaraan atau berjalan kaki. Drive test ini dianggap dapat mewakili data QoS dari sisi pelanggan. Wilayah pengukuran drive test yang dipilih adalah wilayah DKI Jakarta sebagai daerah utama implementasi layanan jaringan 3G dan dikhususkan pada daerah segitiga emas untuk jaringan 3G Telkomsel. Hasil pengukuran drive test tersebut kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode DOE (Design of Experiments) untuk desain Two-Factor fixed Effect Model. DOE ini mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengolah sedikit data untuk menghasilkan suatu kesimpulan yang sah dan objektif. Keluaran dari penghitungan DOE adalah uji nilai QoS. Dengan mengacu kepada parameter QoS yang telah ditetapkan oleh 3GPP, maka proses selanjutnya adalah membandingkan antara hasil analisa DOE untuk pengukuran QoS wilayah DKI Jakarta dengan QoS Standar operator. Hasil perbandingan tersebut menggambarkan tingkat baik atau buruknya QoS 3G Telkomsel wilayah DKI Jakarta. Dan dengan menggunakan DOE, hasil yang diperoleh lebih akurat walaupun menggunakan jumlah sampel yang lebih sedikit.

3G services in Indonesia need a quality guarantee for its customers. The guarantee of quality in telecommunication network is known by QoS (Quality of Service). One of methods to measure QoS value on user side is a drive test. Drive test is a traffic measurement method where data is collected by mobile activities, i.e. driving or walking from one area to other area. Before collecting the data, first of all we have to determine specific area and network to be measured. In this writing DKI Jakarta has been chosen as measurement area since it is a major area for 3G implementation. For the measured network, Telkomsel 3G network has been chosen. The next step is to analize drive test data using DOE (Design of Experiments) method for Two-Fixed Effect Model. DOE is capable to analyze a few experiments to produce a valid and an objective result. DOE output is a QoS verification where the final process is taken by comparing QoS measurement in DKI Jakarta with operator standard. The result of this experiment is a QoS 3G level in DKI Jakarta. Even using a few data, the DOE output is more acurate than output of reguler process."

"Permasalahan utama dalam teknologi-teknologi Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) adalah kemungkinan nilai peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) yang tinggi, pada generasi terbaru Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) IEEE 802.11n, yang mengusung teknologi multiple input multiple output (MIMO) OFDM, permasalahan PAPR merupakan salah satu isu penting. Nilai PAPR pada bagian short dan Long Training Field (STF dan LTF) masih di bawah rata-rata sinyal pada umumnya untuk ukuran Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) yang sama karena adanya pola perulangan sinyal. Pada data field, proses pengacakan dilibatkan yang salah satu fungsinya untuk mengurangi nilai PAPR. Namun pada signal field, baik untuk format legacy (L-SIG) maupun high throughput (HT-SIG), tidak ada proses pengacakan maupun pola perulangan signal. Sehingga besar kemungkinan bahwa nilai PAPR bagian signal field lebih tinggi daripada bagian lainnya. Pada makalah ini, kami ingin menggali lebih dalam mengenai nilai PAPR pada bagian signal field khususnya untuk legacy signal field (L-SIG). Dengan mempertimbangkan semua kemungkinan parameter di legacy signal field, diperoleh bahwa nilai PAPR terbesar (12,72 dB) terjadi saat data rate 6 Mbps dengan panjang data 3864 oktet."

"Wireless power transmission is being investigated as a means to operate tiny medical devices such as the capsular endoscope, which is able
to exist for a long period during diagnostic procedures within the body. In this paper, we examine the wireless power transmission to a capsular endoscope by electromagnetic waves to show its usability for medical applications. A modified helical antenna inside the endoscope is proposed as a power receiving antenna, operating at 915 MHz. By calculating a maximum received power in the stomach using such
antenna, the results show that adequate power can be well received. "

"Perkembangan teknologi sistem telekomunikasi berkembang sangat cepat. Berbagai cara dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja sistem telekomunikasi yang handal. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi pita lebar, sistem telekomunikasi yang digunakan pada saat ini juga terus dikembangkan agar dapat menghasilkan performa yang lebih baik lagi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam sistem pita lebar tersebut saat ini yaitu menggunakan teknik Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM).
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) merupakan suatu teknik transmisi yang menggunakan beberapa frekuensi subcarrier yang saling tegak lurus. Sistem OFDM mampu memberikan efisiensi bandwidth yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan sistem Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) biasa. Untuk membuat sinyal OFDM diperlukan suatu teknik transformasi yang diterapkan dalam sistem OFDM. Beberapa transformasi yang biasanya digunakan dalam sistem OFDM ialah Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) dan Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT).
Dalam skripsi ini dirancang dan dianalisa sistem OFDM yang menggunakan transformasi Lifitng Discrete Wavelet Transform (LDWT). LDWT merupakan pengembangan dari trasformasi DWT. Kelebihan-kelebihan yang dimiliki oleh transformasi LDWT ini mampu memberikan performa yang lebih baik untuk sistem OFDM. Dari hasil simulasi didapatkan bahwa sistem OFDM-LDWT menghasilkan nilai BER yang lebih baik dibandingkan sistem OFDM-DWT untuk wavelet Db2, Sym2, dan Coif2, sedangkan wavelet Haar menghasilkan nilai BER yang sama baik. Nilai BER paling baik yang dihasilkan sistem OFDM-LDWT yaitu pada saat menggunakan wavelet Haar, Db2, dan Sym2 pada kanal AWGN dengan menggunakan modulasi QPSK dan tanpa menggunakan Cyclic Prefix (CP).

The development of telecommunication system grows rapidly. Various methods are used to improve the performance of telecommunication system. Due to the development of broadband communication, telecommunication system should be developed to reach the good performance. The technology used in broadband system is Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM).
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) uses multiple orthogonal subcarriers frequency. OFDM system can provide higher bandwidth efficiency than Frequency Division Multiplexing (FDM) system. A transformation technique is required to build the OFDM signal. Some transformations used in the OFDM system is the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT).
This final project designs and analyzes OFDM system using Lifting Discrete Wavelet Transform (LDWT). LDWT is the next generarion of DWT transform. The advantages of LDWT transform can improve the performance of OFDM system. The result of simulation shows that OFDM-LDWT system has a better BER than OFDM-DWT system in the wavelet Db2, Sym2, and Coif2, while the wavelet Haar has the same good BER. System of OFDM-LDWT has the best performance of BER when using wavelet Haar, Db2, and Sym2 in the AWGN channel with QPSK modulation and without Cyclic Prefix (CP)."
