"Seorang Apoteker memegang peranan penting dalam industri farmasi dan apotek. Apoteker harus memenuhi standar kompetensi sebagai persyaratan untuk menjalankan pekerjaan kefarmasian. Dalam rangka pencapaian standar kompetensi tersebut, calon apoteker harus menjalankan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA). PKPA dilaksanakan di RSUPN Cipto Mangunkusumo dan Apotek GOR Medika Farma periode Februari – Agustus 2020. Setelah melaksanakan PKPA diharapkan calon Apoteker dapat memperoleh wawasan, pemahaman, dan pengalaman dalam menjalankan pekerjaan kefarmasian.

A pharmacist plays an important role in the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacies. Pharmacists must meet competency standards as a requirement for carrying out pharmaceutical work. In order to achieve these competency standards, prospective pharmacists must carry out the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA). PKPA is held at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital and GOR Medika Farma Pharmacy for the period February - August 2020. After implementing PKPA, it is hoped that pharmacist candidates can gain insight, understanding, and experience in carrying out pharmaceutical work."

"Tenaga kefarmasian terdiri dari apoteker dan tenaga teknis kefarmasian. Dalam menjalankan praktik kefarmasian pada pelayanan fasilitas kefarmasian, hanya apoteker yang memiliki surat tanda registrasi yang bisa menjalankan dan menerapkan standar pelayanan kefarmasian di fasilitas pelayanan kefarmasian. Hal inilah yang menjadi dasar Program Profesi Apoteker Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Indonesia bekerja sama dengan RSUP dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) dan Apotek Atrika untuk menyelenggarakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) bagi mahasiswa sebagai calon apoteker pada tahun 2020. Selama PKPA, mahasiswa diharapkan mampu memahami peranan, tugas, dan tanggung jawa apoteker di ruah sakit dan apotek sesuai dengan ketentuan dan etika pelayanan kesehatan da pelayanan kefarmasian

Pharmacy staff consists of pharmacists and pharmaceutical staff. In carrying out pharmaceutical practices in pharmaceutical service facilities, only pharmacists who have registration letters can carry out and apply pharmaceutical service standards in health service facilities. This is the basis of University of Indonesia’s Pharmacy Faculty Pharmacist Professional Program collaboration with RSUP dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) and Apotek Atrika to organize internship during the February – May 2020 period for students as prospective pharmacists. During the internship, students are expected to able to understand the roles, duties, and responsibilities of pharmacists in hospitals and pharmacies in accordance with the provisions and ethics of health services and pharmaceutical services."

"Apoteker merupakan profesi yang memegang peran penting di institusi kefarmasian. Demi terwujudnya seorang apoteker yang profesional dalam melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian, salah satu hal yang penting untuk dilakukan adalah berpartisipasi secara langsung dalam melakukan peran kefarmasian di institusi kefarmasian, seperti apotek dan industri farmasi sehingga calon apoteker dituntut untuk menjalani praktik profesi. Praktik profesi dilakukan sebagai bekal dan pengalaman calon apoteker untuk memahami dan mendapat gambaran mengenai peran apoteker di dunia kerja.. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di Apotek Kimia Farma selama periode Februari 2020 dan PT Bayer – Cimanggis Plant selama periode Juli – Agustus 2020. Industri farmasi dan apotek tersebut dapat menjadi wadah bagi seorang calon apoteker untuk mengasah keterampilan kefarmasian. Calon apoteker diharapkan selama menjalani praktik kerja menambah pengetahuan, wawasan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman.

In order to realize a professional pharmacist in doing pharmaceutical work, one of the important things to do is participate directly in carrying out a pharmaceutical role in pharmaceutical institutions, such as pharmacies and the pharmaceutical industry so that prospective pharmacists are required to undergo professional practice. Professional practice is carried out as a provision and experience for prospective pharmacists to understand and get an overview of the role of pharmacists in the world of work. The Professional Practice of Pharmacists is carried out at Apotek Kimia Farma during the period February 2020 and PT Bayer - Cimanggis Plant during the July - August 2020 period. The pharmacy can be a place for a prospective pharmacist to hone pharmaceutical skills. Prospective pharmacists are expected to increase their knowledge, insight, skills and experience during their work practice.

Through the implementation of the internship program, it is expected that a future pharmacist will have the insight, knowledge, skills, and experience to do pharmaceutical practice so that they are ready to enter the real world of work as a profesional in the pharmacy practice."

Standar kompetensi tersebut merupakan kemampuan yang diharapkan dimiliki oleh seorang apoteker saat lulus dan masuk ke tempat praktik kerja profesi. Selain itu, seorang apoteker juga diharapkan memiliki pengalaman dalam menjalankan praktik profesi apoteker, maka dari itu dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di PT Kimia Farma Trading and Distribution Cabang Bogor, Apotek Kajen Pekalongan, dan PT Harsen Laboratories Jakarta Periode Bulan Februari – Agustus Tahun 2020. In this internship period, it is hoped that pharmacist could obtain appropriate insights, knowledge and experience to do pharmacy practice in professional workplace."
