"Sistem pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi COVID-19 menjadi tantangan bagi guru untuk mengajar secara efektif. Efektivitas guru penting untuk diperhatikan agar kualitas dan hasil pendidikan dapat terjaga. Efektivitas guru dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, dua diantaranya adalah kepribadian proaktif dan kecerdasan emosional. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji peran kepribadian proaktif dan kecerdasan emosional secara bersamaan terhadap efektivitas guru pada guru SMK saat masa pembelajaran jarak jauh di DKI Jakarta. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 211 guru SMK (M-usia = 43 tahun) Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Teacher Effectiveness Scale (Kyriakides, Campbell & Christofidou, 2002) untuk mengukur efektivitas guru, Proactive Personality Scale (Seibert, Crant & Kraimer, 1999) untuk mengukur kepribadian proaktif dan Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire–Short Form (Petrides & Furnham, 2006) untuk mengukur kecerdasan emosional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kepribadian proaktif dan kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh secara bersamaan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas guru (F(2, 208) = 55.165, p < .001, R2 = .347). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa 34,7% varians dapat dijelaskan oleh kepribadian proaktif dan kecerdasan emosional.Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas guru.

Distance learning as an impact of COVID-19 pandemic becomes a challenge for teacher effectiveness. It is important to pay attention to the effectiveness of teachers so that the quality and results of education can be maintained. Teacher effectiveness can be influenced by various factors, two of which are proactive personality and emotional intelligence. This study was conducted to examine the role of proactive personality and emotional intelligence simultaneously on the effectiveness of teachers in vocational school teachers during the distance learning period in DKI Jakarta. The participants of this study were 211 SMK teachers (M-age = 43 years). This study uses the Teacher Effectiveness Scale (Kyriakides, Campbell & Christofidou, 2002) to measure teacher effectiveness, the Proactive Personality Scale (Seibert, Crant & Kraimer, 1999) to measure proactive personality and Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire–Short Form (Petrides & Furnham , 2006) to measure emotional intelligence. The results of the analysis show that proactive personality and emotional intelligence have a positive and significant effect on teacher effectiveness (F(2, 208) = 55.165, p < .001, R2 = .347). This shows that 34.7% of the variance can be explained by proactive personality and emotional intelligence. The result of this study can be used to increase teacher effectiveness."

"Perubahan sistem pembelajaran dari tatap muka menjadi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) menyebabkan efektivitas guru menurun. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi efektivitas guru adalah perilaku kerja inovatif guru. Akan tetapi, penelitian terdahulu masih menunjukkan adanya inkonsistensi antara hubungan keduanya. Adaptabilitas dipilih sebagai variabel mediator. Perilaku kerja inovatif dapat memengaruhi adaptabilitas dan adaptabilitas dapat memengaruhi efektivitas guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran adaptabilitas sebagai mediator antara hubungan perilaku kerja inovatif dan efektivitas guru. Efektivitas guru diukur menggunakan Teacher Effectiveness Scale (TSE), perilaku kerja inovatif diukur menggunakan Skala Perilaku Kerja Inovatif, dan adaptabiltias diukur menggunakan The Adaptability Scale. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner daring dan cetak kepada guru SMA di wilayah Jabodetabek yang sedang menjalani Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Analisis data penelitian dilakukan dengan model regresi mediasi menggunakan program makro PROCESS oleh Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adaptabilitas memediasi hubungan antara perilaku kerja inovatif dan efektivitas guru. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi guru untuk meningkatkan perilaku kerja inovatifnya agar dapat meningkatkan adaptabilitas yang diikuti dengan peningkatan efektivitas guru.

The change in the learning system to distance learning causes teachers to lack effectiveness. One of the factors that predicted teacher effectiveness is innovative work behavior. However, the previous studies found an inconsistency between the relationship of innovative work behavior and teacher effectiveness. Adaptability was selected as the mediator variable. Innovative work behavior could predict adaptability and adaptability could predict teacher effectiveness. This study examines the role of adaptability as a mediator in the relationship between innovative work behavior and teacher effectiveness among senior high school teachers in the distance learning context. Teacher effectiveness was measured by Teacher Effectiveness Scale (TES), innovative work behavior was measured by Skala Perilaku Kerja Inovatif, and adaptability was measured by The Adaptability Scale. The respondents of this study are senior high school teachers in Jabodetabek area who were undergoing distance learning which acquired through an online and paper-based questionnaire. A regression mediation analysis model was conducted to test the study’s hypothesis using macro program PROCESS by Hayes. The result of the analysis shows that adaptability mediating the relationship between innovative work behavior and teacher effectiveness. Therefore, innovative work behavior is important to be possessed by teachers in order to improving teacher’s adaptability and eventually followed by the improvement of teacher effectiveness.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kecerdasan emosi dapat memprediksi teacher well-being dalam konteks pembelajaran jarak jauh akibat pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada guru sekolah dasar dan sekolah menengah di Indonesia (N = 494; M = 39,9 tahun). Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale oleh Schutte et al. (1998) dan Teacher Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire oleh Renshaw et al. (2015). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosi secara signifikan dapat memprediksi teacher well-being F(1,492) = 108,469, p < 0,05. Kecerdasan emosi ditemukan memiliki effect size kecil terhadap teacher well-being. Hasil penelitian memiliki implikasi bahwa terdapat faktor lain yang berperan dalam teacher well-being. Hal ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan penelitian selanjutnya mengenai teacher well-being.

This study aims to investigate the role of emotional intelligence in predicting teacher well-being in the context of online learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. This research was conducted on elementary and secondary school teachers in Indonesia (N = 494; M = 39.9 years). The measuring instrument used is the Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale from Schutte et al. (1998) and the Teacher Subjective Well-Being Questionnaire from Renshaw et al. (2015). Simple regression technique was used to analyze the data. The result of the analysis shows that emotional intelligence significantly predicts and has a small effect on teacher well-being F(1,492) = 108,469, p < 0,05. The results of the study have practical implications that can be considered for schools to carry out emotional intelligence development training for teachers. Furthermore, it is implied that other factors also play a role in teacher well-being and should be taken into consideration by future research on this topic."

"Lulusan SMK menyumbangkan angka pengangguran tertinggi di Indonesia. Penyebab tingginya angka pengangguran tersebut adalah rendahnya keyakinan diri pada siswa SMK dan kebingungan dalam menentukan karir yang tepat sehingga menyebabkan kesulitan dalam pengambilan keputusan karir. Fenomena ini berkaitan dengan efikasi diri dalam pengambilan keputusan karir (CDSE) yang dimiliki seseorang. CDSE dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, dua diantaranya adalah kecerdasan emosional (EI) dan kepribadian proaktif (PP).
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah EI dan PP berpengaruh terhadap CDSE pada siswa SMK kelas 12. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 866 siswa kelas 12 yang berasal dari 9 SMK di Jakarta dan Depok. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale Short Form, Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, dan Proactive Personality Scale.
Analisis regresi berganda yang dilakukan dengan mengkontrol variabel jenis kelamin dan usia menunjukan hasil bahwa EI dan PP memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap CDSE (F(1,865) = 65,510, p=0,000, <0,001) dengan koefisien determinan sebesar 0,229. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa 22,9% varians CDSE dapat dijelaskan oleh EI dan PP. Hasil analisis juga menunjukan bahwa PP (β=0,406) diketahui memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap CDSE dibandingkan dengan EI (β=0,160).

Vocational high school graduates contribute the highest unemployment rates in Indonesia. Some of the cause of high unemployment rate are the low self-confidence in vocational students and confusion in determining the right career which causes difficulties in making career decisions. This phenomenon is related to career decision making self-efficacy (CDSE) that someone has. CDSE can be influenced by various factors, two of which are emotional intelligence (EI) and proactive personality (PP).
This study aims to find out the effect of EI and PP on CDSE in 12th grade vocational high school students. Participants in this study were 866 12th grade students from 9 vocational high schools in Jakarta and Depok. The measurements used are Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale Short Form, Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, and Proactive Personality Scale. Multiple regression analysis conducted to see the effect of EI and PP on CDSE with gender and age as control variables.
The result showed that the EI and PP had a positive and significant contribution to CDSE (F (1,865) = 65,510, p = 0,000, <0,001) with determinant coefficient of 0,229. This shows that 22.9% of CDSE variants can be explained by EI and PP. The results of the analysis also showed that PP (β = 0.406) was known to have a greater effect on CDSE compared to EI (β = 0.160).

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran dari teacher efficacy dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dari sudut pandang guru SD. Sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, guru perlu memiliki keyakinan akan kemampuannya dalam mengajar atau yang disebut sebagai teacher efficacy. Selain itu, guru juga perlu memiliki kecerdasan emosional untuk dapat memahami emosi diri sendiri dan siswanya. Partisipan dari penelitian ialah para guru dari SDN X dan Y. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS), Teachers’s Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES), dan Perception of Student Motivation (PSM). Data diolah menggunakan Cronbach’s alpha, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis, dan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya karakteristik teacher efficacy yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dari sudut pandang guru. Penelitian ini merupakan studi awal yang dapat membentuk model penelitian baru menggunakan ketiga variabel tersebut.

The current study aimed to see the role of teacher efficacy and emotional intelligence on perceived student motivation among teachers in Elementary School. To increase student motivation in learning, teachers need to have confidence in their ability to teach or teacher efficacy. Teachers also need emotional intelligence to deal with their emotions and students emotions. The participants were teachers in Elementary School X and Y in Depok. This research uses quantitative research design. The Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS), Teacher’s Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES), and Perception of Student Motivation (PSM) was administered to collect data from teachers. Data were analysed using Cronbach’s alpha, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis, and simple regression. The researcher suggests that only teacher efficacy able to influence the perceived student motivation. This study is a preliminary study to establish a new research model using these three variables."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi atau peran trait kepribadian terhadap academic burnout pada siswa kelas 3 SMA Negeri di Jakarta, khususnya pada Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Dalam pelaksanaannya, PJJ memiliki dampak yang membuat pembelajaran menjadi kurang efektif, sehingga memengaruhi kondisi mental sosial emosional siswa. Kendala-kendala yang muncul dan beban tugas selama PJJ menyebabkan siswa dapat merasa lelah secara emosional, tidak merasa mampu dalam menyelesaikan tugas, dan menjadi tidak peduli terhadap kegiatan belajarnya. Dengan kata lain siswa mengalami academic burnout. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 357 siswa kelas 3 SMAN di Jakarta. Academic burnout diukur dengan menggunakan Maslach Burnout Inventory – Student Survey (MBI-SS). Sementara itu kepribadian siswa diukur menggunakan IPIP-BFM-25. Hasil perhitungan Pearson correlation menunjukkan bahwa kelima trait kepribadian (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, dan intellect) memiliki hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan dengan academic burnout. Hasil analisis lanjutan menunjukkan bahwa kecuali trait extraversion, empat trait kepribadian lainnya memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap munculnya academic burnout pada siswa

This study aims to see the influence and contribution of personality traits on academic burnout in grade 12 public high school students in Jakarta, especially during the PJJ or Distance Learning period. Throughout its implementation PJJ has made learning less effective, thus affecting the social emotional state of students. Constraints and the workload during PJJ cause students to feel emotionally tired, incapable of completing assignments, and become indifferent towards their academic activities. In other words, students experience academic burnout. The study was conducted on 357 12th graders at SMAN in Jakarta. Academic burnout was measured using the Maslach Burnout Inventory - Student Survey (MBI-SS). Meanwhile, student personality is measured using IPIP-BFM-25. The results of the Pearson correlation calculation show that the five personality traits (extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, and intellect) have a negative and significant relationship with academic burnout. Further analysis show that except for extraversion, four other personality traits have a significant contribution to the emergence of academic burnout in students"

"Penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya skor Indonesia di PISA 2018 yang berimplikasi kepada kompetensi siswa remaja di Indonesia yang sangat rendah apabila dibandingkan dengan kompetensi siswa remaja di seluruh dunia. Keterlibatan siswa di dalam kelas berperan penting dalam mengembangkan kompetensi yang dimiliki siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran keterlibatan orang tua terhadap keterlibatan agentik siswa di dalam Pendidikan Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Partisipan merupakan 334 siswa kelas 12 SMA Negeri di Jabodetabek yang menjalani PJJ. Untuk mengukur keterlibatan orang tua digunakan Perception of Parents Scales (POPS) (Grolnick et al., 1991) dan Agentic Engagement Scales (AES) (Reeve, 2013) digunakan untuk mengukur keterlibatan agentik. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan regresi linier berganda untuk menguji peran keterlibatan orang tua terhadap keterlibatan agentik siswa. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan adanya kontribusi sebesar 4,2% keterlibatan orang tua terhadap keterlibatan agentik. Keterlibatan ibu memiliki peran yang lebih besar (β = .38, p<.01) terhadap keterlibatan agentik siswa jika dibandingkan dengan keterlibatan ayah (β = .07, p>.05). Hasil dan diskusi penelitian ini memberi masukan bahwa peran orang tua walaupun kecil, memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam keterlibatan anaknya di sekolah.

This research departs from the low score of Indonesia in PISA 2018 which has implications for the very low competence of adolescent students in Indonesia when compared to the competence of adolescent students around the world. Student engagement in the classroom plays an important role in developing student competencies. Therefore, this study aims to determine the role of parental involvement on student agentic engagement during distance learning. The participants were 334 grade 12 students at public high school in Jabodetabek who underwent distance learning. To measure parental interaction, we used Perceptions of Parents Scales (POPS) (Grolnick et al., 1991) and Agentic Engagement Scales (AES) (Reeve, 2013) were used to measure agentic engagement. The research data were analyzed by multiple linear regression to examine the role of parental involvement on student agentic engagement. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a 4.2% contribution of parental involvement on agentic engagement. Mother's involvement had a greater role (β = .38, p<.01) on student agent engagement when compared to father's involvement (β = .07, p>.05). emphasize that the role of parents, although small, has a significant role in the engagement of their children in school."

"Kondisi Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) dapat memicu atau memperburuk academic burnout pada mahasiswa. Passion dalam belajar dapat membantu mahasiswa menghadapi tuntutan-tuntutan akademis agar terhindar dari kelelahan fisik dan emosional, serta tetap termotivasi melakukan tugas-tugas selama menjalani perkuliahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara passion dalam belajar dan academic burnout serta kontribusi kedua tipe passion yaitu harmonious dan obsessive passion terhadap academic burnout. Partisipan penelitian ini sejumlah 201 mahasiswa S1/D4 tahun pertama sampai tahun terakhir yang sedang mengikuti PJJ di perguruan tinggi Jabodetabek. Pada penelitian ini academic burnout diukur menggunakan Maslach Burnout Inventory - Students Survei (Arlinkasari & Rauf, 2016), sedangkan passion dalam belajar diukur menggunakan Passion Scale (Marsh et al., 2013) yang diadaptasi ke dalam konteks akademis dan Bahasa Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik Pearson product-moment correlation dan multiple linear regression. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif dan signifikan (r = -.48, p<.01) antara passion dalam belajar dan academic burnout. Passion dalam belajar berkontribusi sebesar 21% terhadap penurunan academic burnout. Harmonious passion (β = -.40, p<.01) memiliki kontribusi lebih besar terhadap penurunan academic burnout dibandingkan obsessive passion (β = -.08, p>.05) yang artinya semakin tinggi harmonious passion mahasiswa dalam belajar, maka academic burnout nya akan semakin rendah.

Conditions of Distance Learning (PJJ) can trigger or worsen academic burnout in university students. Passion for studying can help university students face academic demands in order to avoid physical and emotional fatigue, and stay motivated to do assignments during their studies. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between passion for studying and academic burnout and the contribution of the two types of passion, namely harmonious and obsessive passion to academic burnout. Participants in this study were 201 S1 / D4 students from the first to the last year who were following PJJ at higher education in Jabodetabek. In this study, academic burnout was measured using the Maslach Burnout Inventory - Students Survey (Arlinkasari & Rauf, 2016), while passion for studying was measured using the Passion Scale (Marsh et al., 2013) which researchers adapted to the academic context and Indonesian language. Data analysis used statistical techniques Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple linear regression. The results showed a negative and significant correlation (r = -.48, p <.01) between passion for studying and academic burnout. Passion for studying contributed 21% to the decline in academic burnout. Harmonious passion (β = -.40, p <.01) has a greater contribution to reducing academic burnout than obsessive passion (β = -.08, p> .05) which means that the higher the students' harmonious passion for studying, the lower the academic burnout will be."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya efek mediasi kepribadian proaktif dalam pengaruh kecerdasan emosi terhadap efikasi diri keputusan karier siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Siswa SMK diketahui mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat keputusan karier di akhir masa studinya, padahal mereka telah menentukan kejuruan mereka sejak memasuki SMK. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah siswa kurang memiliki efikasi diri keputusan karier. Untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut, efikasi diri keputusan karier siswa perlu ditingkatkan melalui faktor lain yang memengaruhinya, seperti kecerdasan emosi. Kepribadian proaktif dipilih sebagai variabel mediator. Studi kuantitatif ini dilakukan terhadap 833 orang siswa SMK kelas 12 di sembilan sekolah wilayah Depok dan Jakarta Selatan, dengan menggunakan metode non-probability sampling jenis accidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (CDSES-SF), Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire-Short Form (TEIQue-SF), serta Proactive Personality Scale (PPS), dengan masing-masing alat ukur memiliki reliabilitas > 0,7. Analisis mediasi dilakukan menggunakan PROCESS oleh Hayes, dengan hasil kepribadian proaktif mampu memediasi pengaruh kecerdasan emosi terhadap efikasi diri keputusan karier secara partial (ab = 0,10, c' = 0,12, p<0,01). Hasil studi ini dapat digunakan pada program intervensi untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri keputusan karier siswa, dengan memperhatikan faktor kecerdasan emosi dan kepribadian proaktif pada siswa.

ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to examine proactive personality as mediator in the influence of emotional intelligence on vocational high school student's career decision self efficacy. Vocational high school students are known to have difficulty in making career decisions because they have lack on career decision self-efficacy. To overcome this, students career decision self-efficacy needs to be improved through other factors, such as emotional intelligence. Proactive personality chosen as a mediator variable. This quantitative study was conducted on 833 vocational high school students from Depok and Jakarta Selatan, and were recruited using non-probability sampling method with the type of accidental sampling. The measuring instruments are Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (CDSES-SF), Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire-Short Form (TEIQue-SF), and Proactive Personality Scale (PPS), with a reliability of > 0.7. Mediation analysis was used as the data analysis technique, using PROCESS by Hayes. The results showed that proactive personality was partially mediate the effect of emotional intelligence on career decision self efficacy (ab = 0.10, c' = 0.12, p <0.01). The results of this study can be used in intervention programs to improve students career decision self-efficacy, taking into account emotional intelligence and proactive personality factors in students."

"Agentic engagement atau keterlibatan agentik berperan penting dalam proses belajar dan pencapaian prestasi pemelajar. Untuk terlibat dalam proses belajar secara aktif, salah satu faktor yang dapat menjadi kendala pemelajar adalah merasa malu atau tidak percaya diri untuk berbicara di depan orang banyak. Dalam hal ini kepribadian diasumsikan berhubungan dengan keterlibatan pemelajar di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kepribadian dan agentic engagement. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif dari universitas yang berlokasi di Jabodetabek. Agentic Engagement Scale (AES) digunakan untuk mengukur variabel agentic engagement. Kepribadian akan diukur menggunakan instrumen Mini IPIP-BFM-25. Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi Pearson pada 294 partisipan, ditemukan korelasi yang positif dan signifikan antara dimensi extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, dan openness to experience terhadap agentic engagement. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat memperkaya khazanah dalam ilmu Psikologi Pendidikan dan menambah wawasan bagi pemelajar maupun pengajar tentang agentic engagement dalam mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran.

Agentic engagement plays an important role in the learning process and achievement of learners' achievements. To be actively involved in the learning process, one of the factors that can be an obstacle for learners is to feel embarrassed or not confident to speak in front of a crowd. In this case the personality is assumed to be related to the involvement of the learner in the classroom. This study aims to see the relationship between personality and agentic engagement. The participants of this study are active students from universities located in Jabodetabek. The Agentic Engagement Scale (AES) is used to measure agentic engagement variables. Personality will be measured using the Mini IPIP-BFM-25 instrument. Based on the results of the Pearson correlation test in 294 participants, a positive and significant correlation was found between the dimensions of extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience to agentic engagement. The implications of the results of this study can enrich the treasures in educational psychology and add insight for learners and teachers about agentic engagement in optimizing the learning process."
