"This book contains a range of keynote papers and submitted papers presented at the 10th IFIP WG 9.2, 9.5, 9.6/11.7, 11.4, 11.6/SIG 9.2.2 International Summer School, held in Edinburgh, UK, in August 2015. "ABSTRAK
Tesis ini menulis sebuah penelitian yang didasarkan pada isu konsumsi dan budaya material di kalangan polisi muda Brimob. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk menggambarkan peranan konsumsi budaya material dalam kerangka pemikiran Miller yang diwujudkan melalui berbagai produk bermotif loreng.Produk loreng diposisikan sebagai sistem komunikasi dan strategi pembentuk identitas kemiliteran bagi polisi muda Brimob. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Tulisan ini menemukan bahwa konsumsi pada berbagai produk bermotif loreng merupakan sebuah proses aktif yang dilakukan dan direproduksi maknanya oleh polisi muda sebagai pengungkapan eksistensi dan ekspresi di dalam diri.Adanya ekspresi seperti rasa kecemasan, kekhawatiran terhadap posisinya yang tidak aman dari ancaman pihak luar dan citra negatif yang berkembang. Kondisi tersebut menjadi landasan bahwa polisi muda Brimob tidak dapat merepresentasikan dirinya sebagai seorang polisi. Data penelitian menemukan bahwa konsumsi dapat berperan untuk memperkuat pembentukan identitas dan citra sebagai seorang militer dengan menidentifikasi citra barang dengan citra diri yang ingin ditampilkan. Hasilnya, konsumsi pada berbagai produk bercorak loreng mampu mengekspresikan dan memperkuat citra militeristik sebagai mekanisme keamanan diri dan penghargaan sosial di masyarakat di Semarang. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena polisi muda Brimob didukung oleh pengetahuan dan tradisi kemiliteran di lingkungan kerjanya.

ABSTRACT
This thesis is a research based on the issue of consumption and material culture among Brimob young police. The objectives of this writing is to describe the role of material culture of consumption within the framework Miller are realized through a variety of camouflage-patterned products as communication systems and military identity-forming strategies for Brimob young police with qualitative methods. This research argues that the consumption of the various products patterned camouflage is an active process that is performed and reproduced its meaning by young policeman as the disclosure of the existence and expression within such a sense of anxiety, worries about their position from external threats and a negative image. Such conditions are the basis that Brimob young police can?t represent himself as a policeman. The research data also reveals that consumption can contribute to strengthen the identity and image formation as a military man to identify the image of the goods with the self-image you want to show. As a result, the consumption of the various products patterned camouflage able to express and strengthen its image as a security mechanism self militaristic and social respect in the community in Semarang. This can happen because the young policeman Mobile Brigade supported by the knowledge and traditions of the military nuances in the work environment."

"Dengan iklim bisnis yang penuh persaingan, organisasi perlu melakukan inovasi dan bekerja secara cepat. Untuk memenuhi tuntutan tersebut, banyak organisasi yang menggunakan metodologi agile dalam melakukan pengembangan sistem. Metodologi ini diketahui fleksibel, sehingga mampu menghadapi perubahan mendadak. Masalahnya, dengan kecepatan yang dimiliki metodologi agile, banyak pengetahuan yang harus dikelola dengan benar dan cepat pula. Maka dari itu, diperlukan KM (Knowledge Management) untuk membuat pengelolaan pengetahuan dalam praktik agile menjadi efektif. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana KM dan metodologi agile dapat mendukung proses pengembangan yang ada di organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melibatkan 16 narasumber yang berasal dari 14 perusahaan berbeda. Narasumber berlatar belakang sebagai engineer, quality assurance, project/product manager, dan UI/UX designer. Dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan, tim peneliti memetakan agile practices dan cloud services dengan KM processes dan KM foundation menggunakan model teoritis. Selain itu, dibuat juga KMS yang berisikan 27 fitur yang berguna bagi proses pengembangan sistem dan dapat membantu aktivitas KM. Kesuksesan organisasi dalam menjalankan proses pengembangannya akan bergantung pada semua aspek yang telah disebutkan, yaitu KM foundation, KM processes, agile practices, dan cloud services.

With a competitive business climate, organizations need to innovate and work quickly. To meet these demands, many organizations use agile methodologies in developing systems. This methodology is known to be flexible, so it can deal with sudden changes. The problem is, with the speed that agile methodology has, a lot of knowledge must be managed properly and quickly. Therefore, KM (Knowledge Management) is needed to manage knowledge in agile practices effectively. Based on these problems, this study aims to find out how KM and agile methodologies can support the development processes in organizations. This study used a qualitative approach involving 16 interviewees from 14 different companies. The resource persons have backgrounds as engineers, quality assurance, project/product managers, and UI/UX designers. From the results of interviews conducted, the research team mapped agile practices and cloud services with KM processes and KM foundation using a theoretical model. In addition, a KMS was also created which contained 27 features that were useful for the system development process and could assist KM activities. The success of an organization in carrying out its development process will depend on all the aspects mentioned, namely the KM foundation, KM processes, agile practices, and cloud services."

"ABSTRAK
Untuk mengurangi pencemaran dan kerusakan lingkungan yang dihasilkan perusahaan, penting bagi perusahaan tersebut untuk melibatkan para pekerjanya. Pekerja harus didorong untuk menerapkan perilaku pro-lingkungan dan untuk itu perusahaan harus memahami motivasi dibalik perilaku tersebut. Terkait hal ini, studi ini ingin membuktikan apakah value-identity-personal norms VIP model mampu memprediksi perilaku lingkungan pekerja. Menggunakan metode Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling PLS-SEM, hasil analisa menunjukan bahwa biospheric value, environmental self-identity, dan personal norms to behave pro-environmentally at work terbukti terkait satu sama lain. Selanjutnya, personal norms terbukti secara signifikan terkait negatif terhadap penggunaan energi di lingkungan kerja dan positif terhadap pencegahan dan daur ulang sampah kertas. Sayangnya, personal norms tidak dapat memprediksi perilaku penggunaan energi pekerja terkait transportasi. Sementara secara keseluruhan, personal norms hanya mampu menjelaskan secara lemah ketiga tipe perilaku lingkungan pekerja tersebut yang menandakan bahwa terdapat peran dari faktor lain yang mungkin bermain, seperti faktor konstekstual. Untuk itu, studi ini merekomendasikan perusahaan untuk tidak hanya membangun biospheric value, environmental self-identity, dan personal norms to behave pro-environmentally at work dalam diri para pekerjanya, namun juga membangun linkungan kerja yang memfasilitasi mereka untuk menerapkan perilaku pro-lingkungan.

ABSTRACT
To reduce pollution and environmental degradation imposed by corporates, it is important for them to involve their workers. The workers have to be encouraged to perform pro environemental behaviors and hence corporates have to understand the antecedents behind the behaviors. This study then aims to examine whether a value identity personal norms VIP model can predict workers environmental behaviors. By utilizing Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling PLS SEM method, the results show that biospheric value, environmental self identity, and personal norms to behave pro environmentally at work are indeed related to one another. Further, personal norms is proven to be significantly negatively related to energy use at workplace and positively related to paper waste prevention and recycling. Unfortunately, personal norms are not succesful in predicting energy use related to transportation. Over all, personal norms weakly explain the three types of workers environmental behavior which indicates that there might be a role from other factor, such as contextual factor. Hence, this study recommends corporates not to only strengthening workers rsquo biospheric value, environmental self identity, and personal norms to behave pro environmentally at work, but also providing them with working circumstances that facilitate workers to actually perform pro environmental behaviors. "
