"Garin-Garis Besar Haluan Negara (GBHN) mengamanatkan bahwa perhatian sebesar-besarnya perlu diberikan kepada peningkatan pembangunan pedesaan terutama melalui prakarsa dan swadaya masyarakat desa serta memanfaatkan secara maksimal dana-dana yang langsung maupun yang tidak langsung diperuntukan bagi pembangunan pedesaan. Dan pembangunan pedesaan perlu terus ditingkatkan terutama melalui pengembangan kemampuan sumber daya manusia termasuk penciptaan iklim yang mendorong tumbuhnya prakarsa dan swadaya masyarakat pedesaan. Sejalan dengan itu perlu ditingkatkan kemampuan masyarakat pedesaan untuk berproduksi serta menciptakan lapangan kerja. Dengan demikian masyarakat pedesaan makin mampu mengarahkan dan memanfaatkan dengan sebaik-baiknya segala dana dan daya bagi peningkatan pendapatan dan taraf hidup (1988: 70). Dapat dikatakan bahwa pembangunan pedesaaan tidak terlepas dari usaha empowerment (pemberdayaan) masyarakat desa (pembangunan sosial budaya), khususnya usaha peningkatan kemampunan sumber daya manusia untuk berproduksi dan menciptakan lapangan kerja, yang pada akhirnya berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pendapatan ekonomi keluarga. "

"Tesis ini membahas masalah peranan infrastruktur terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Pulau Sumatera dan Kalimantan serta membandingkan peranan infrastruktur antara pulau Sumatera dan Kalimantan, pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam penelitian sebagai variabel terikat yaitu PDRB per kapita tenaga kerja dan variabel bebas infrastruktur yang digunakan yaitu jalan, listrik, dan telepon per kapita tenaga kerja.Dalam analisis menggunakan data panel tahun 1995-2006 meliputi 12 provinsi yang ada di pulau Sumatera dan Kalimantan. Dengan metode estimasi yaitu Pendekatan Efek Tetap (Fixed Ejfecl Methode) serta menggunakan alat bantu Software statistik yaitu Eviews versi 4.1.Dari hasil analisis per pulau ternyata semua variabel infrastruktur yaitu jalan, listrik dan telepon memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di pulau Sumatera sedangkan di pulau Kalimantan variabel telepon berpengaruh positif, variabel listrik berpengaruh negatif dan variabel jalan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Dan ketika Pulau Sumatera dan Kalimantan di analisis menjadi satu kesatuan maka variabel jalan, listrik dan telepon mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi.

This thesis will discuss on the problem of infrastructure role to the economic growth in the island of Sumatera and Kalimantan as well as compare it (infrastructure rolc between the island of Sumatera and Kalimantan). In the researeh, the economic growth will be treated as the dependent variable, namely per capita Gross Domestic Regional Product of labor and the independent variable has bccn the infrastructure used, namely road, electricity and telephone per capita of labor.

In the analysis, it employe panel data of 1995 - 2006 that cover 12 provinces cxisted in the island of Sumatera and Kalimantan using the estimation method, namely Fixed Effect Approach as well as making use of statistical Software aid, namely Eviews Version 4.1.

From the analysis rcsult per island, all infrastructure variable, namely road, electricity and telephone provide positive contribution against the economic growth in Sumatera island. Whereas, the telephone variable in Kalimantan island has positive effect, electricity variable negative effect and road insignificant against the economic growth. When the islands of Sumatera and Kalimantan are analyzed into one unit, then road, electricity and telephone variables have positive affect against the economic growth."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak pembangunan daerah wisata terhadap usaha kuliner dengan mengambil kasus program pembangunan sarana dan prasarana pendukung desa wisata yang dilaksanakan mulai tahun 2017 dan melihat pengaruh disparitas regional terhadap efektivitas bantuan yang kemudian dibandingkan antara wilayah Jawa-Bali dan luar Jawa-Bali. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Difference-In-Differences (DID), studi ini menganalisis dampak program bantuan terhadap 115 desa wisata dibandingkan dengan desa wisata lain yang berada dalam satu kecamatan akan tetapi tidak dapat bantuan. Hasilnya, rata-rata setelah adanya program desa wisata, terjadi peningkatan usaha kuliner berupa restoran dan kedai di wilayah Jawa Bali sebanyak 12 unit lebih besar dibandingkan dengan desa wisata yang berada di kecamatan yang sama yang tidak menerima bantuan. Temuan ini didukung oleh kondisi infrastruktur jalan, penerangan jalan, dan sinyal telepon yang lebih baik di desa wisata di Jawa dan Bali. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa disparitas regional berdampak pada pertumbuhan usaha kuliner di desa wisata.

This study aims to identify the impact of the development of tourist areas on culinary businesses by taking the case of the program for the construction of facilities and infrastructure supporting tourism villages which was implemented starting in 2017 and looking at the influence of regional disparities on the effectiveness of assistance which is then compared between the regions of Java-Bali and outside Java-Bali. Using the Difference-In-Differences (DID), the study analyzed the impact of the support program on 115 tourism villages, comparing them to other tourism villages in the same sub-district that did not receive support. The results show that, on average, the number of culinary enterprises in the form of restaurants and food stalls in the Java-Bali region increased by 12 units after the implementation of the Tourism Village Programme, in contrast to Tourism Villages in the same sub-district that did not receive support. These findings are supported by the better condition of road infrastructure, street lighting, and telephone signals in Tourism Villages in Java and Bali. The results of this study explain that regional disparities have an impact on the growth of culinary enterprises in tourism villages."

"This research is aimed to clarify describes how does the society participation in arranging of Independent Village Development Planning Program , advantage and disadvantage factors that influence society participants in arranging of Independent Village Development Planning Program needed, and strategic description in increasing the society participants in arranging of Independent Village Development palnning Program in Long Ikis, Paser . This research used descriptive -qualitative design. Data of this research was based on the paper sheet of the interview and documentation sources. Technique purposive and snowball used in determination of informan. Analysis was done using interactive model, such as reduction, data review, and conclusion. descriptive strategic formula was used SWOT analysis instrument. This research revealed the following findings , generally, society participants of Long Ikis residents in arranging of Independent Village Development Planning Program were bias/partiality. Disadvantage factor that describe the weakness of program ,such as,limited time, work ,fund, information,socialization, communication,and departement oriented. Advantage factor that support the program likely, benefit , interest and territori. Strategic description in improving the society participants in arranging of Independent Village Development planning Program in Long Ikis , Paser using maximized unit in the resident with the appropriate development fund in Paser, revitalized social economic in decreasing the poorness, organized the society norm toward in varying government policy, and effectively communication approve between government and employment in the palm plantation sector."
