"PT Festival Citra Lestari merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang menyediakan layanan Over-The-Top (OTT) bernama Genflix. Untuk dapat meningkatkan produk yang baik dari segi kualitas dan kepuasan pengguna, divisi Information Technology (IT) di PT Festival Citra Lestari mempunyai target pencapaian kinerja yang diukur dalam ketepatan waktu rilis dan banyaknya masalah kritis yang terjadi di lingkungan produksi Genflix. Namun pada realitanya, terjadi keterlambatan yang disebabkan adanya critical defect yang lolos ke lingkungan produksi. Setelah dianalisis dengan menggunakan diagram ishikawa, akar permasalahan difokuskan pada proses pengujian perangkat lunak yang kurang efektif. Penelitian ingin mengetahui tingkat kematangan dalam melakukan pengujian perangkat lunak dan rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan untuk meningkatkan kematangan proses pengujian perangkat lunak. Evaluasi tingkat kematangan dilakukan dengan kerangka kerja Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi) dengan metode pedoman penilaian TMMi Assesment Method Application Requirement (TAMAR). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif berupa studi kasus dengan applied research, dan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode Delphi dengan empat pemangku kepentingan dalam proses pengujian yaitu Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager, dan dua Quality Assurance sebagai narasumber. Penilaian dilakukan pada area proses di tingkat kematangan tingkat 2 yang menghasilkan rating P (Partially Achieved), sehingga tingkat kematangan proses pengujian perangkat lunak adalah tingkat 1 (Initial). Rekomendasi perbaikan proses disusun dengan metode Siklus Deming atau PDCA (Plan, Do, Act, Check). Rekomendasi disusun berdasarkan specific practices pada area proses Test Planning dan Test Environment agar mencapai tingkat kematangan 2 (Managed). Rekomendasi peningkatan proses pengujian yang diusulkan divalidasi oleh Head of Engineering agar bisa diterapkan pada proses pengujian yang dilakukan perusahaan sehingga pengujian lebih efektif.

PT Festival Citra Lestari is a company that provides an Over-The-Top (OTT) service called Genflix. To be able to improve products that are good in terms of quality and user satisfaction, the Information Technology (IT) division at PT Festival Citra Lestari has a performance achievement target that is measured in timeliness of release and the number of critical issues that occur in the Genflix production environment. But in reality, there is a delay caused by a critical defect that passes into the production environment. After being analyzed using an Ishikawa diagram, the root causes are focused on the ineffective software testing process. This research wants to know the level of maturity in conducting software testing and recommendations that can be given to increase the maturity of the software testing process. Maturity level evaluation is carried out using the Test Maturity Model integration (TMMi) framework using the TMMi Assessment Method Application Requirement (TAMAR) assessment guideline method. The research was conducted using a qualitative method in the form of case studies with applied research, and data collection using the Delphi method with four stakeholders in the testing process, namely the Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager, and two Quality Assurances as resource persons. Assessment is carried out in the process area at the maturity level of level 2 which results in a P (Partially Achieved) rating, so that the maturity level of the software testing process is level 1 (Initial). Process improvement recommendations are prepared using the Deming Cycle or PDCA (Plan, Do, Act, Check) method. Recommendations are prepared based on specific practices in the Test Planning and Test Environment process areas in order to achieve maturity level 2 (Managed). The recommendations for improving the proposed testing process are validated by the Head of Engineering so that they can be applied to the testing process carried out by the company so that the testing is more effective."

"Perangkat lunak AB Pro merupakan produk dari PT XYZ. Perusahaan mengharapkan produk ini bebas dari failure kategori major, critical dan blocker yang tidak dapat diselesaikan pada level support call. Semua jenis failure ini menyebabkan operasi bisnis pelanggan terganggu. Failure terjadi karena kurang maksimalnya proses pengujian. Untuk mengetahui kualitas proses pengujian yang sedang berlangsung dibutuhkan asesmen tingkat kematangan proses pengujian tersebut. Maka dari itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kematangan proses pengujian dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan proses pengujian perangkat lunak AB Pro. Model yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi kematangan proses pengujian pada penelitian ini adalah Test Maturity Model Integration (TMMi). Model ini memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan, terutama tahapan yang jelas untuk menentukan arahan komitmen manajemen. Metode penilaian mengacu pada TMMi Assessment Method Accreditation Requirements (TAMAR). Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan metode reduksi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan FGD bersama dua orang ketua tim pengujian, observasi proses, dan studi dokumen pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan proses pengujian perangkat lunak di PT XYZ berada pada tingkat kematangan 1 initial. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pengujian belum dikelola dengan baik dan terdapat pelaksanaan proses yang tidak konsisten. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perusahaan melakukan enam perbaikan proses pengujian. Tiga rekomendasi jangka pendek (1-6 bulan), yaitu: melakukan monitor kualitas produk; menggunakan teknik desain pengujian; mengembangkan prosedur proses pengujian. Tiga rekomendasi jangka menengah (7-12 bulan), yaitu: membentuk seperangkat indikator kinerja proses pengujian; menentukan estimasi proses pengujian; menjaga serta mendistribusikan komitmen untuk pengujian.

Software AB Pro is a product of PT XYZ. The company expects this product to be free from major, critical and blocker failure that cannot be resolved at support call level. All these failures disrupt the customer’s business operations. Failures occur when the testing process is unoptimized. To analyze current testing process quality, testing process maturity level assessment is required. Thus, this study aimed to determine testing process maturity level and provide recommendations to improve AB Pro testing process. The assessment model used in this study is Test Maturity Model Integration (TMMi). The chosen model meets the company requirements, especially having clear steps to determine the direction of management commitment. The assessment method refers to the TMMi Assessment Method Accreditation Requirements (TAMAR). The research was conducted qualitatively with the reduction method. Data collection was carried out through FGD with two team leaders, process observation, and study of supporting documents. From the result, software testing process maturity is still at initial level. This result indicates the testing process has not been appropriately managed, and there is inconsistency of process implementation. There are six recommendations for PT XYZ to improve their testing process. Three short-term recommendations (1-6 months): monitor product quality; use test design techniques; develop process testing procedures. Three medium-term recommendations (7-12 months): establish a set of performance indicators of the testing process; determine the estimation of the testing process; maintain and distribute commitments for testing.

"Perusahaan perangkat lunak XYZ mengalami masalah target tahunan tidak tercapai selama 3 tahun berturut-turut, yaitu dari tahun 2017 sampai tahun 2019. Setelah dilakukan analisa akar masalah dengan diagram Ishikawa dan survei terhadap karyawan didapatkan data bahwa seringnya terlambatnya proyek perangkat lunak kepada customer dan belum adanya standar manajemen proyek merupakan dua akar masalah dengan peringkat tertinggi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah sering terlambatnya proyek perangkat lunak dengan melakukan pencarian faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan sebuah proyek, kemudian diukur peringkat prioritas yang harus dikerjakan menggunakan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) sebagai bahan evaluasi perbaikan proyek berikutnya. Selanjutnya dilakukan pemetaan terhadap output dari knowledge area di PMBOK untuk mengetahui apakah semua faktor sukses dapat diupayakan ketercapaiannya sebagai bukti dan informasi menjawab keraguan penerapan manajemen proyek yang menjadi penyebab belum adanya standar manajemen proyek. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh 27 faktor yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan proyek perangkat lunak. Control & monitoring, commitment and trusted dan effective communication adalah tiga faktor paling berpengaruh. Faktor-faktor di kategori good project management dan good team mendominasi 10 peringkat teratas di semua kriteria sukses proyek, yaitu: meet cost, meet schedule, meet scope, meet quality, customer satisfaction dan product used by end-user. Penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa knowledge area di PMBOK dapat membantu mengupayakan ketercapaian kondisi semua faktor yang mempengaruhi kesuksesan proyek perangkat lunak. Sehingga PMBOK direkomendasikan dan dapat digunakan sebagai pilihan yang tepat dalam menerapkan standar manajemen proyek.

Software company XYZ has got the problem, not achieving the annual target for 3 consecutive years, from 2017 to 2019. After analyzing the root cause problem with the Ishikawa diagram and a survey to employees, it was found information that software projects to customers are often late and there is no project management standards are the two highest-ranking root causes. This research purpose is to overcome the problem of frequent delays in software projects by searching for factors that affect the success of a project, then measuring the priority ranking that must be done using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) as an evaluation material for further project improvements. Then a mapping of the output of the knowledge area in PMBOK was carried out to find out whether all the success factors could be achieved as evidence and information to answer doubts about the implementation of project management which was the cause of the absence of project management standard. Based on the research results, obtained 27 factors that affect the success of software projects. Control & monitoring, commitment, and trusted and effective communication are the three most influential factors. The factors in categories good project management and good team dominate the top 10 rankings in all project success criteria, that are: meet cost, meet schedule, meet scope, meet quality, customer satisfaction, and product used by end-users. The researcher also proves that the knowledge area in PMBOK can help achieve the conditions of all factors that affect the success of a software project. So PMBOK is recommended and can be used as the right choice in implementing project management standards."
