Food insecurity has adverse effects on poor mental health and psychosocial stress for caregivers/parents. Parents experiencing mental stress due to food insecurity can create conflicts and violence among family members, thereby increasing violence against children. The level of food insecurity can serve as one of the measures reflecting economic stressors within households. This research aims to analyze the association between food insecurity and the probability of domestic violence against children. The study employs logistic regression anaylsis to elucidate the association between the dependent variable (domestic violence against children) and the independent variable (food insecurity) while controlling for several variables. The findings of this research indicate that food insecurity has a significant association with violence against children. Based on the logistic regression analysis conducted, there is a significant association between the level of food insecurity and domestic violence against children. Higher levels of food insecurity tend to be associated with an increased likelihood of child violence. However, there is a different pattern at the "Severe" food insecurity level, where the percentage increase in the probability of child violence is lower compared to other levels of food insecurity."

"As the worlds prison population continues to grow and with the number of inpatient beds in forensic mental health units on the rise, establishing valid and reliable methods of identifying individuals who will commit violent acts is an important public safety issue. One approach to identifying future offenders is through the use of risk assessment-unstructured and structured methods of predicting the likelihood of antisocial behavior. Although much has been written on the performance of risk assessment methods in research settings, little is known about current standards of practice and relevant public policy across the globe. With chapters contributed by leading scholars in more than 15 countries, this volume explores the topic of violence risk assessment from an international perspective. Using findings from the seminal International Risk Survey, the largest qualitative study in the history of the field, current assessment, management, and monitoring practices on six continents are discussed. The most commonly used risk assessment tools are identified and described, risk communication preferences are examined, and recommendations for mental health practitioners, criminal justice professionals, and policymakers are shared. Finally, seminal research studies, current practice guidelines, and relevant legal statutes of individual countries are reviewed.

This research discussed about the impact of household credit on child domestic violence in Indonesia. This research used quantitative methods with multinomial logistic regression analysis. The findings of this research showed that households with more than one credit were correlated with an increased likelihood of child psychological & physical domestic violence compared to the probability of not having child domestic violence, both before and after the control variables were included. Other variables such as spouse's age, head of household's higher education, spouse's higher education, number of household members, perception of domestic violence, children's school status, and child's age were statistically correlated with the outcomes of having Child Psychological Domestic Violence, having Child Physical Violence, and having both Child Psychological & Physical Domestic Violence."

This study examines the perspectives of lecturers and students at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Indonesia, on domestic violence (KDRT) committed by public figures and ordinary individuals, as well as the use of restorative justice in handling KDRT cases. This quantitative study used a survey questionnaire administered to 97 respondents selected through accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to understand the perceptions and differing views on KDRT and restorative justice. The results show that both lecturers and students consider KDRT a serious offense, with KDRT cases involving public figures seen as more serious due to their impact on public image. Both groups agree that perpetrators must bear full responsibility and receive appropriate and severe punishment, with lecturers more supportive of harsher sanctions compared to students. Both groups strongly support maximum punishment for KDRT perpetrators to provide a deterrent effect and ensure justice for victims. Most lecturers favor conventional law, reflecting confidence in the effectiveness of the traditional legal system, while students show a slightly higher preference for restorative justice, which focuses on restoring relationships and rehabilitating the perpetrator. Both groups support a balanced approach between conventional law and restorative justice, indicating a desire for a more humane and comprehensive approach to handling KDRT. There is no significant difference in the perspectives of lecturers and students on the seriousness, responsibility, punishment, and appropriate sanctions for husbands committing KDRT, whether they are public figures or ordinary individuals. Additionally, there is no significant difference in their views on the use of conventional law and restorative justice, with both groups seeing the strengths and weaknesses of both approaches equally."
