"ABSTRAKTerdapat fenomena paradoks yang dihadapi oleh pengusaha. Pengusaha menghadapi berbagai kondisi tidak ideal, seperti fluktuasi pendapatan yang mengakibatkan pendapatannya tidak stabil Carrington, Mccue, Pierce, 1996, jam kerja yang lebih panjang Hyytinen Ruuskanen, 2007 dan mengalami stress D. Blanchflower, 2004. Serta terdapat fenomena liabilitas yang tak terbatas karena bercampurnya harta usaha dengan harta pribadi Moskowitz Vissing-J ? rgensen, 2002. Menariknya, walaupun kendala yang dihadapi pengusaha cukup banyak, beberapa penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengusaha memiliki tingkat kepuasan hidup yang lebih tinggi dan cenderung lebih bahagia Binder Coad, 2013; D. G. Blanchflower Oswald, 1998. Islam sebagai ad-din atau way of life merupakan sarat akan nilai yang mempengaruhi keputusan dan cara pandang individu termasuk penilaian individu terhadap hidupnya. Crum Chen, 2015 menemukan bahwa pengusaha yang relijius memiliki penilaian kepuasan hidup yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang tidak relijius. Menggunakan IFLS 5, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah relijiusitas berpengaruh terhadap subjective well-being pada pengusaha muslim di Indonesia dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhinya. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan membandingkan relijiusitas dan subjective well-being kelompok pengusaha dan pegawai muslim.

ABSTRACTThere is a paradox phenomenon faced by entrepreneurs. Crum Chen, 2015 found that religious entrepreneurs had higher life satisfaction scores than non religious ones. Using IFLS 5, this study aims to see whether religiosity affects subjective well being among Muslim entrepreneurs in Indonesia and what factors influence it. In addition, this study will also compare the religiosity and subjective well being groups of muslim entrpreneurs and employees."

"ABSTRACTThe Arab conquests following the death of the Prophet Muhammad in AD 632 changed the face of the world for ever. In the year 600 there were no Muslims, and Arabic was spoken only in the Arabian Peninsula and the fringes of Iraq and Syria. No Arabs lived in Egypt or North Africa; Syria and Egypt formed part of the Greek-speaking Christian Byzantine Empire; and Iraq and Iran were ruled by a fire-worshipping Zoroastrian, the Sasanian King of Kings." "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peran religiositas sebagai moderator hubungan antara resiliensi dan subjective well-being pada penduduk miskin di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian pada 181 partisipan (114 laki-laki, 67 perempuan) menunjukkan bahwa effect size pada analisis regresi sederhana sebesar 15,3%, dan dilanjutkan dengan melakukan analisis regresi moderasi menjadi sebesar 22,1%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa religiositas dapat memperkuat hubungan resiliensi dan subjective well-being pada penduduk miskin di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menambah pengetahuan mengenai peran religiositas sebagai moderator hubungan resiliensi dan subjective well-being.

This study is aimed to investigate the role of religiosity as a moderator of the relationship between resilience and subjective well-being of the poor in Jakarta. The results of the study on 181 participants (114 males, 67 females) showed that the effect size in the simple regression analysis was 15.3%, and the result followed by moderation regression analysis was 22.1%. This shows that religiosity could strengthen the relationship between resilience and subjective well-being of the poor in Jakarta. The results of this study enhance the knowledge of the role of religiosity as a moderating variable of the relationship between resilience and subjective well-being."
