"Dengan hanya melakukan perbaikan jalan ketika luas kerusakan sudah membesar, dana yang dikeluarkan akan menjadi boros dan tidak efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui biaya pemeliharaan untuk jalan lingkar luar Universitas Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) dan menentukan strategi pemeliharaan jalan yang paling cost-effective berdasarkan analisis biaya pemeliharaan jalan. Berdasarkan tiga skenario pemeliharaan jalan, didapatkan hasil bahwa strategi pemeliharaan jalan yang paling cost-effective adalah skenario pertama berupa pemeliharaan jalan setiap dua tahun sekali memiliki nilai Net Present Value (NPV) terendah yaitu sebesar Rp 23.490.602,00. Hasil perbandingan nilai NPV menunjukkan potensi penghematan biaya sebesar Rp 18.826.750,00 dari anggaran biaya pemeliharaan jalan dengan cara overlay di jalan lingkar luar Universitas Indonesia jika strategi skenario pertama diterapkan.

By simply doing pavement repairs when the area of damage has been enlarged, the amount of cost expended would be wasteful and ineffective. This study aims to determine the pavement maintenance cost for outer ring road of University of Indonesia using Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) method and determine the most cost-effective maintenance strategies based on the analysis of pavement maintenance costs. Based on three three pavement maintenance scenarios, the result shows thatthe most cost-effective maintenance strategy is the first scenario, pavement maintenance every two years, with the lowest value of Net Present Value (NPV) Rp 23.490.602,00. The comparison result of NPV value shows potential reduced cost Rp 18.826.750,00 from University of Indonesia?s pavement maintenance budget using overlay work if the first scenario strategy is implemented."

"ABSTRAK Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik keberlanjutan pada salah satu universitas yang berada di negara Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan penelaahan dokumen yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan strategi terintegrasi untuk mencapai kampus berkelanjutan yaitu Environmental Management System EMS , public participation and social responsibility, dan promoting sustainability in teaching and research. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis biaya dan manfaat dari program keberlanjutan di Universitas tersebut. Hasil dari analisis penelitian ini dibandingkan dengan hasil evaluasi yang telah di lakukan oleh GreenMetric World University Rangking on Sustainability tahun 2016. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Universitas X, sebagai salah satu universitas di Indonesia yang telah berkomitmen untuk menjadi kampus hijau, praktik keberlanjutannya masih dominan pada strategi Environmental Management System EMS . Hal ini selaras dengan hasil skoring dari GreenMetric tahun 2016. Selain itu, analisa biaya dan manfaat menunjukkan bahwa program keberlanjutan lingkungan di universitas tersebut layak untuk dilaksanakan.

ABSTRACTThis thesis analyze practice of sustainability in one of the university in Indonesia. The research is conducted with qualitative method and the data are gained by interview, observation, and analyze document that analyze by an integrated strategy to achieving campus sustainability Environmental Management System EMS , public participation and social responsibility, dan promoting sustainability in teaching and research. The research also use cost benefit analysis to analyze sustainability programs in that university. The result from this analyze compare with the result of evaluation from GreenMetric World University Rangking on Sustainability in 2016. The result of this research that X University, one of the university in Indonesia have been commitment to be green campus, the pratices of sustainability more concern to Environmental Management System EMS strategy. This result in tune with the scoring result from GreenMetric on 2016. In addition to cost benefit analysis show that the environmental sustainability programs in X University worthy to be implemented."
