"Abstrak
PURPOSE:
House dust mites (HDM) are major allergens that cause allergic rhinitis (AR). Allergen-specific subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) has been shown to be clinically beneficial in many clinical trials. Such trials, however, are not reflective of all patient populations. The aim of this study was to describe the efficacy and safety of SCIT in routine clinical practice in Korean adults with AR sensitized to HDM.
METHODS:
We reviewed medical records of 304 patients with AR treated at an allergy clinic of a tertiary hospital using SCIT with aluminum hydroxide-adsorbed allergen extract targeting HDM alone or with pollens for at least 1 year from 2000 to 2012. Patients with asthma were excluded. Rates of remission, defined as no further requirement of maintenance medication, over time were determined by means of life tables and extension of survival analysis. Specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels to HDM were categorized into 6 classes.
RESULTS:
The mean time until achieving remission was 4.9±0.1 years, and the cumulative incidence of remission from AR was 76.6%. Severe AR (odds ratio [OR], 0.40; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.23-0.69; P=0.001), specific IgE levels to HDM ≥17.5 kU/L (OR, 1.85; 95% CI, 1.01-3.37; P=0.045), and duration of immunotherapy ≥3 years (OR, 7.37; 95% CI, 3.50-15.51; P<0.001) were identified as significant predictors of clinical remission during SCIT for patients with AR sensitized to HDM. Overall, 73 patients (24.0%) experienced adverse reactions to SCIT, and only 1 case of anaphylaxis (0.3%) developed.
CONCLUSIONS:
SCIT with HDM was found to be effective and safe for patients with AR. Specific IgE levels to HDM and a duration of SCIT ≥3 years may be predictors of clinical responses to SCIT in AR patients."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai identifikasi penerapan variabel desain near Zero Energy House nZEH di daerah Asia Tenggara yang beriklim tropis dan membandingkan implementasi penerapan variabel desain nZEH di Indonesia dan negara di Asia Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa variabel yang dapat digunakan untuk daerah beriklim tropis adalah spesifikasi konstruksi, penggunaan teknologi pembangkit energi terbarukan, desain pasif, fenestrasi, sistem ventilasi, pencahayaan, dan advanced control. Terdapat perbedaan penerapan variabel nZEH di Indonesia dengan negara di Asia Tenggara, dimana perubahan ini terdapat pada penerapan variabel spesifikasi konstruksi, penggunaan teknologi pembangkit energi,desain pasif, sistem ventilasi, dan advanced control.

This undergraduate thesis discuss about the implementation of near zero energy house nZEH design variable in the tropical climate of South East Asia, and comparing the implementation of nZEH design variable in Indonesia with other Countries in South East Asia. This research use qualitative research method. The results of the study shows variable that can be applied in tropical climate is Construction specification, Renewable Energy Technology, Passive Design, Fenestration, Ventilation System, Lighting, and Advanced System Control. There are some differences on the implementation of nZEH variables in Indonesia with countries in South East Asia Region, the difference of these variables can be found on the implementation of Construction Specification, Renewable Energy Technology, Passive Design, Ventilation system and Advanced control."

"The initial house provided by the government of Indonesia for low and medium family hence should be in affordable process is called Rumah Inti Tumbuh (RIT). The Indonesian word tumbuh means “to grow”, indicating that these houses are expected to be transformed, as a representation of growing, following to the owners’ financial improvement and spatial needs. This article is based on the second stage of the research on RIT. The first stage of the research observed units in the Condong Catur Public Housing project in Yogyakarta Province, which was initiated in the 1980s. The findings from the first stage prompted a further research question related to the tendency to transform newer public housing. This article discusses the design transformation of public housing units that have been occupied for shorter periods of time than those units featured in the previous study. The current research employed qualitative methods by observing the occupants of the Wonorejo Public Housing project and the transformations they have made to their homes to meet their expanding spatial needs. The observed units had been occupied for less than five years at the time this research was conducted. Data collection consisted of observing the units, interviewing the occupants, and gaining information from secondary data resources such as the literature and the blue print of the initial design. The observation focused on the development direction and zoning pattern of the units. The research found that the occupants tended to maintain the existing zoning, enlarge semi-public and service spaces, and prioritize development at the back of the housing site. The findings of this second stage research show similar tendencies with the previous research; therefore, these trends could be considered predictive factors that could inform initial RIT design."
