"Influence of Fire Drills as Part of Fire Safety Management to Safety Performance of Shop Buildings in JakartaFire occurs unexpectedly and must be aware by people because fire is a complex problem. This complexity seems increasing as the technology construction development-increasing fire load, variety of construction material, completion of installation and equipment, and also bigger and higher buildings. The impact of high cost of building constructions tends to make owners minimize some cost especially cost of building safety. Because of that, the meaning and the effort to prevent fire damage must be improved continuously.
In accordance with KEPMEN PU 02/KPTS/1985, and Perda DKI No.3 1992 about Fire Safety Management, every building having capacity more than 50 occupants and public place having more than 30 people must have and conduct fire safety management system. Generally, function and task of Fire Safety Management are the same, to conduct inspection and maintenance, coordinate fire safety team, provide training and safety of fire damage, and conduct Fire Drills. Fire Drills could show preparedness quality oftearn entirely and people rescue related to fire occurs. In Jakarta, there are some shopping buildings conduct fire drills at least once a year and are observed directly by Fire Department.
In this research, we find that there is positive correlation between Fire Drills and Safety Performance of Shop Buildings. The correlation between Fire Drills and Safety Performance is linear with adjusted R2 = 0.849. This resume has two dominant variables influencing the model, as follows:

"Influence of Fire Safety Management (FSM) to Building Reliability in Preventing Fire Damage at Hotel Buildings in JakartaJakarta is the center of economic, politic, cultural activities and also the center of the state defense. Along with development in many sectors, numbers of building development grows accordingly with numerous functions: hotel, office, apartment, shop, amusement center, restaurant or a mix at the aforementioned functions. A commercially managed hotel should meet certain standards; one of them is fire prevention through a system that called Fire Safety Manage, rent. The existence of Fire Safety Management is important as most hotel guests have no or little knowledge at how to respond in case of fire.
This research on hotel Fire Safety Management is used to observe the correlation between application of Fire Safety Management and reliability of building in preventing and controling the damages caused by fire at hotels in Jakarta.
This research uses primary and secondary data. Primary data is gathered by distributing questioners to hotel building managers, data gathered is then analyzed by using statistic program SPSS 10.0 to obtain measurable and relevant indicators to improve reliability at a hotel building.
Data analysis shows same parameters in Fire Safety Management, Which are: Pre-estinguishment at fire : 50,0 %, Response to alarm and signal : 33,6 % , other variable from dummy analysis is : Identification potential at fire : 12, 3 %. The result at this research can be used to improve role of Fire Safety Management in building reliability in general and hotel building in specific."

"Kebakaran adalah suatu peristiwa tidak terduga dan menimbulkan banyak kerugian. Hal ini dapat terjadi pada gedung-gedung yang tidak memiliki sistem perlindungan serta manajemen kebakaran dan keselamatan. Dengan mendeteksi awal dan pencegahan bahaya kebakaran yang timbul dalam waktu yang tidak terduga, dapat mencegah korban jiwa dan kerugian pada gedung tersebut.
Untuk mencegah permasalahan tersebut, Keputusan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No. 02/KPTS/1985 dan PERDA DKI No.3 1992 mengenai manajemen kebakaran dan keselamatan, menjelaskan bahwa setiap bangunan yang memiliki kapasitas lebih dari 50 penghuni dan tempat umum yang memiliki lebih dari 30 penghuni harus memiliki dan melaksanakan sistem manajemen kebakaran.
Para pengelola gedung harus memiliki beberapa standar kebakaran, salah satunya adalah pencegahan bahaya kebakaran yang disebut dengan Fire Safety Management. Fire Safety Management sangat penting bagi para penghuni dan pengguna bangunan yang kurang memiliki pengetahuan tentang bagaimana menanggulangi bahaya kebakaran.
Penelitian Fire Safety Management ini digunakan untuk meneliti hubungan korelasi antara penerapan Fire Safety Management dan ketahanan gedung dalam mencegah kebakaran di Universitas Indonesia ? Depok.
Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer didapat dengan menyebarkan 83 kuesioner ke gedung-gedung di Universitas Indonesia - Depok, 76 kuesioner telah diterima dan kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan program statistik SPSS 10.01 untuk mendapatkan pengukuran dan indikator-indikator yang relevan.
Pengolahan data menunjukkan beberapa parameter di Fire Safety Management, yang terdiri dari mengidentifikasi potensi kebakaran = 31,3% dan pemberitahuan awal pada penghuni = 54,7%.
Dengan menganalisa berdasarkan klausal-klausal sistem manajemen OHSAS 18001;1999 dan ISO 9001;2000 yang akan dapat memberikan usulan bagi Universitas Indonesia untuk meningkatkan kualitas Fire Safety Management nya.
Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan Fire Safety Management pada gedung-gedung di Universitas Indonesia - Depok.

The fire damage occurs in unpredictable time and can cause losses to owner because of damage. It can occur in buildings that do not have Fire Protection and Fire Safety Management System in the building By detecting and preventing against the fire damage, which arise in unpredictable time will prevent loss of lives and assets of the buildings.
To solve the problem, the guidelines Minister of Public Works Decree No. 02/KPTSI1985 and PERDA DKI No. 3 1992 mentioned about Fire Safety Management, every building having capacity more than 50 occupants and public place having more than 30 people must have and conduct fire management system.

"Menurut regulasi yang ada ( UU No.28 Tahun 2002 Tentang BANGUNAN GEDUNG ) bangunan gedung bertingkat harus memenuhi persyaratan keandalan yang meliputi : keselamatan, kesehatan, kenyamanan, dan kemudahan. Salah satu faktor keselamatan adalah masalah antisipasi dari adanya bahaya kebakaran, oleh sebab itu disamping masalah sistem proteksi aktif & sistem proteksi pasif masalah fire safety management harus pula diimplementasikan secara baik di gedung bertingkat.
Fire safety management menekankan pada pengelolaan aktivitas pengelola beserta penghuni gedung untuk mengantisipasi adanya bahaya kebakaran sehingga bisa dicegah / diminimalkan timbulnya kebakaran dengan jalan mengoptimalkan semua fasilitas proteksi kebakaran yang ada serta memberdayakan seluruh penghuni untuk aktif berperilaku yang aman terhadap bahaya api.
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan gambaran hubungan antara Fire Safety Management dengan tingkat Keandalan Bangunan Gedung Tinggi Perkantoran, sampel diambil dari Bangunan Gedung Tinggi Perkantoran di DKI Jakarta.
Hasi1 yang diperoleh dari penelilian ini adalah adanya hubungan yang positif antara lmplementasi Fire Safety Management yang baik dengan tingkat Keandalan Bangunan terhadap bahaya kebakaran Gedung Tinggi Perkantoran, dengan variabel yang dominan adalah Inspection & Maintenance Kondisi Sistem Pompa & Persediaan Air Setelah Beroperasi, System Komunikasi dan Control facilities, & Sosialisasi Pentingnya Latihan Kebakaran Gedung.

Regarding to High Rise Building regulation ( UU No.28 Tahun 2002 Tentang BANGUNAN GEDUNG ), high rise building shall fulfill reliability requirement, which consist of safety, health, conformability, and simplicity. One of safety factor is anticipation of fire, beside quality of active protection system and passive protection system, fire safety management shall he well implemented on high rise building.
Fire Safely Management is focusing on management of occupant and building operator activities against fire risks to avoid fire or minimize fire accident through optimization of active and passive protection system and also occupant fire safe works activity.
This research was done to explore correlation between Fire Safety Management and High Rise Building reliability on fire , sample was taken from High Rise Building (for office ) at DKI Jakarta.
The result from this research is the positive correlation between well implementation of Fire Safety Management and High Rise Building reliability on fire, dominant variables are Inspection & Maintenance of Pumping System and Water Storage after operation, Communication System and Control Facilities, and Socialization of Fire Drill.

"Skripsi ini membahas evaluasi penerapan keselamatan kebakaran gedung dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Computerized Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES) di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia yang berlokasi di Salemba, Jakarta Pusat. Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan kesesuaian 12 safety parameters dan persyaratan tambahan pada NFPA 101A: Alternate Approaches to Life Safety dengan standar NFPA 101: Life Safety Code. Disain studi penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan semi kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah Gedung Utama dan Gedung Departemen Kimia FKUI.
Hasil evaluasi Gedung Utama menunjukkan bahwa kontrol penyebaran api mendapatkan nilai -9 dari standar persyaratan minimum -4. Sistem jalan keluar mendapatkan nilai -12.5 dari standar 0. Sedangkan keselamatan kebakaran umum mendapatkan nilai -17 dari standar -4. Hasil evaluasi Gedung Departemen Kimia menunjukkan bahwa kontrol penyebaran api mendapatkan nilai -9,5 dari standar persyaratan minimum -4. Sistem jalan keluar mendapatkan nilai -5.5 dari standar 0. Sedangkan keselamatan kebakaran umum mendapatkan nilai -8 dari standar -4.
Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan keselamatan kebakaran di Gedung Fakultas kedokteran Universitas Indonesia belum memenuhi persyaratan keselamatan minimum pada NFPA 101: Life Safety Code.

This study discusses evaluation of the fire safety implementation of buildings using software Computerized Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES) at Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia, located in Salemba, Central Jakarta. The evaluation was done based on the suitability of 12 safety parameters and additional requirements in NFPA 101A: Alternate Approaches to Life Safety with standards NFPA 101: Life Safety Code. Design of this study is descriptive with a semi-quantitative approach. Samples are the Main Building and the Department of Chemistry Building, Faculty of Medicine.
Results of main building evaluation shows that the score of fire control is -9, score of egress is -12.5, and score of general fire safety is -17. Meanwhile, for chemistry building, the score for fire control is -9.5, score of egress is -5.5, and score of general fire safety is -8.
The study concluded that the fire safety implementation in the Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia has not met the minimum safety requirements in NFPA 101: Life Safety Code.

"Stasiun Transit Manggarai merupakan stasiun paling aktif yang menghubungkan tujuh persimpangan jalur kereta api. Sebelum pandemi, tercatat bahwa Stasiun Manggarai merupakan stasiun tersibuk yang melayani lebih dari 20.000 pengguna setiap harinya (Ditjen Perkeretaapian, 2022). Dan pada Januari 2023, terkonfirmasi bahwa Stasiun Manggarai memiliki 150.000 pengguna transit dan 14.000 pengguna stasiun per harinya (Fransisca, 2023). Jumlah pengguna yang banyak tentunya dapat meningkatkan kepadatan sehingga dapat meningkatkan potensi bahaya dan risiko yang ada, termasuk bahaya dan risiko kebakaran. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran sistem proteksi kebakaran dan keselamatan kebakaran di Stasiun Transit Manggarai Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL) Commuter Line Jabodetabek dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif observasional dengan pendekatan komparasi. Penulis membandingkan hasil penerapan sistem proteksi kebakaran dan keselamatan kebakaran di Stasiun Manggarai dengan standar NFPA 130 dan Code of Practice for Fire Precautions in Rapid Transit Systems 2022. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan dengan wawancara online, telaah dokumen, dan observasi langsung pada stasiun. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan bahwa persentase pemenuhan sistem proteksi kebakaran dan keselamatan kebakaran pada Stasiun Transit Manggarai Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL) Commuter Line Jabodetabek adalah sebesar 84,34% dengan pemenuhan tertinggi pada aspek Fungsi, Reliabilitas, dan Ketersediaan Sistem Komunikasi dan Kontrol dan Persyaratan Kawat dan Kabel sebesar 100% dan pemenuhan terendah pada aspek Sistem Komunikasi Keadaan Darurat sebesar 50%.

Stasiun Transit Manggarai is the most active station that connects seven railroad crossings. Before the pandemic, it was recorded that Manggarai Station was the busiest station serving more than 20,000 users every day (Ditjen Perkeretaapian, 2022). In January 2023, it was confirmed that Manggarai Station has 150,000 transit users and 14,000 station users per day (Fransisca, 2023). A large number of users can certainly increase the density, and according to research density can increase the existing potential hazards and risks, including fire hazards and risks. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out the implementation of the fire protection system and fire safety at Stasiun Transit Manggarai Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL) Commuter Line Jabodetabek using a descriptive observational method with a comparative approach. The author compares the results of implementing fire protection and fire safety systems at Manggarai Station with NFPA 130 and Code of Practice for Fire Precautions in Rapid Transit Systems 2022. The results of this study were obtained through interviews, document review, and direct observation at the station. Based on the research, it was found that the proportion of implementation of fire protection and fire safety systems at the Stasiun Transit Manggarai Kereta Rel Listrik (KRL) Commuter Line Jabodetabek is 84.34% with the highest fulfillment at the percentage of 100% on two aspects – Function, Reliability, and Availability of Communication and Control Systems and Wire and Cable Requirements. The lowest compliance is in the Emergency Communication System aspect with the percentage of 50%."

"Risiko kebakaran dapat terjadi dimana saja, bahkan pada gedung institusi pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan keselamatan kebakaran yang ada di gedung-gedung Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Indonesia (FEUI). Metodologi menggunakan desain studi deskriptif dengan pendekatan semi kuantitatifdan dibantu dengan perangkat lunak Computerized Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES)yang mengacu pada 12 parameter keselamatan yang ada pada NFPA 101A Guide on Alternative Approaches to Life Safety. Sampel gedung yang dievaluasi terdiri dari tiga gedung yaitu gedung Dekanat, Gedung Pascasarjana, dan gedung Perpustakaan. Penentuan gedung tersebut didasarkan karena gedung lainnya memiliki kesamaan fungsi yaitu sebagai gedung administrasi dan gedung perkuliahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada gedung Dekanat mendapatkan nilai -12,7 untuk keselamatan kebakaran umum, sistem jallur keluar -7,75, dan kontrol penyebaran api -8,45. Gedung Pascasarjana mendapatkan nilai -10,9 pada keselamatan kebakaran umum, sistem jalur keluar -7,95, dan kontrol penyebaran api -7,95. Gedung perpustakaan mendapatkan nilai -23,4 pada keselamatan kebakaran umum, sistem jalur keluar -19,25, dan kontrol penyebaran api -14,65. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa gedung-gedung di FEUI belum memenuhi persyaratan minimal NFPA 101A Guide on Alternative Approaches to Life Safety. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan adalah memasang sistem proteksi kebakaran seperti sprinkler dan pemasangan pompa hidran, menutup semua bukaan vertikal, membuat gudang khusus penyimpanan barang, dan mengadakan pelatihan tanggap darurat secara berkala.

Fire risk can be happened in everywhere, eventhough on educational institution buildings. Purpose this study is to evaluate implementation of fire safety in Faculty of Economic University of Indonesia (FEUI) buildings. Methodology of this study is using observational design with semiquantitatives approaches and assisted with Computerized Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES) software that refers to 12 of parameters in NFPA 101A Guide on Alternative Approaches to Life Safety. Building sample that evaluated consist of three buildings, Dean building, Graduate building, and Library Building. Determination of these sample based simillar building function that are as administration building and classrooms. Result of this study showed in Dean building got score -12,7 for general fire safety, -7,75 for egress, and -8,45 for fire control. Graduate building got score -10,9 for general fire safety, -7,95 for egress, and -7,95 for fire control. Library got score -23,4 for general fire safety, -19,25 for egress, and -14,65 for fire control. Based these result, it can be concluded that the FEUI?s building didn?t meet minimum requirement of NFPA 101A Guide on Alternative Approaches to Life Safety. Recomendation are could be instaled fire protection systems such as sprinkler and hydrant pump, close all of vertical openings, make a warehouse to save any useless properties, and conduct periodical fire emergency response training."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen dan sistem proteksi kebakaran di PT. Bridgestone Tire Indonesia. Penelitian deskriptif analitik ini dilakukan dengan observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Metode yang digunakan adalah evaluasi sesuai dengan Permen PU No. 26/PRT/M/2008, Permen PU No. 20/PRT/M/2009, dan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI), serta standar internasional yaitu NFPA.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar elemen manajemen dan sistem proteksi kebakaran di PT. Bridgestone Tire Indonesia telah memenuhi standar. Manajemen proteksi kebakaran yang belum semua persyaratannya terpenuhi adalah tata laksana operasional. Sistem proteksi kebakaran yang belum seluruh persyaratannya terpenuhi yaitu pencahayaan darurat, tanda petunjuk arah evakuasi, pintu darurat, detektor kebakaran, sistem pipa tegak dan alat pemadam api ringan. Untuk itu diperlukan pengadaan dan perbaikan bagi manajemen dan sistem proteksi kebakaran yang belum memenuhi persyaratan, serta pemeliharaan bagi yang sudah terpenuhi.

The aim of this study is to analyze the management and fire protection system at PT. Bridgestone Tire Indonesia. This descriptive analytical study was conducted with field observations, interviews, and document review The method used is the evaluation in accordance with Permen PU No. 26/PRT/M/2008, Permen PU No. 20/PRT/M/2009and the Indonesia National Standard (SNI), as well as the NFPA international standards.
The results of this study indicate that most of the elements of management and fire protection system at PT. Bridgestone Tire Indonesia has met the standard. Management of fire protection which not yet fulfilled all the requirements is the operational governance. Fire protection systems which not yet fulfilled all the requirements are emergency lighting, evacuation directions signs, emergency doors, fire detectors, pipe systems and portable fire extinguisher. It is necessary for the provision and improvement of management and fire protection systems that do not meet the requirements, as well as maintenance for those who already met.

"Kebakaran merupakan salah satu bencana yang sangat sering terjadi khususnya di daerah perkotaan padat penduduk. Rumah sakit merupakan tempat kerja yang juga rawan kebakaran. Penelitian ini membahas tentang evaluasi sistem proteksi dan penanggulangan bahaya kebakaran di Rumah Sakit Haji Jakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan observasional.
Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah sistem proteksi aktif dan pasif kebakaran, utilitas bangunan gedung, sarana penyelamatan diri, sarana akses pemadam kebakaran dan manajemen keselamatan kebakaran. Standar yang digunakan adalah Kepmen PU No. 10/KPTS/2000, Permen PU No. 26/PRT/M/2008, Permenaker No. : PER.04/MEN/1980, Permenaker No. : PER.02/MEN/1983, Perda DKI Jakarta No. 8 Tahun 2008, Perda DKI Jakarta No. 3 Tahun 1992.
Hasil penelitian dibandingkan dengan standar peraturan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem proteksi aktif dan pasif, utilitas bangunan gedung dan manajemen keselamatan kebakaran di Rumah Sakit Haji Jakarta sepenuhnya sudah sesuai dengan standar peraturan. Sarana penyelamatan diri dan sarana akses pemadam kebakaran pada Rumah Sakit Haji Jakarta masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi.

Fire is one of the disasters that happen very often, especially in densely populated urban areas. The hospital is also prone to workplace fires. This study discusses the evaluation of protection systems and fire prevention Haji Hospital in Jakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using observational approach.
The object of this research is a system of active and passive fire protection, utility buildings, means of escape, fire department means of access and fire safety management. The Standar used was Kepmen PU No. 10/KPTS/2000, Permen PU No. 26/PRT/M/2008, Permenaker No. : PER.04/MEN/1980, Permenaker No. : PER.02/MEN/1983, Perda DKI Jakarta No. 8 Tahun 2008, Perda DKI Jakarta No. 3 Tahun 1992.
The results compared with regulatory standards. The results showed that active and passive protection systems, utility buildings and fire safety management in Hospital Haji Jakarta is fully in accordance with the standard rules. While the means of escape and means of access to the fire department at the Hospital Haji Jakarta still needs to be improved.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi penerapan keselamatan kebakaran perkantoran menggunakan Computerized Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES) pada gedung Kementerian Pertanian yang terletak di daerah Ragunan, Pasar Minggu, Jakarta Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada lima gedung (gedung A sampai gedung E), tidak ada gedung yang memenuhi standar NFPA 101: Life Safety Code ®. Variabel yang belum memenuhi standar di gedung Kementerian Pertanian adalah bukaan vertikal, kompartemenisasi, dan pengendalian asap. Sedangkan variabel yang sudah memenuhi standar adalah pendeteksi asap dan konstruksi gedung.

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of fire safety using Computerized Fire Safety Evaluation System (CFSES) at Kementerian Pertanian's building which located in Ragunan, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. Based on the research results of five buildings assessed (building A to building E), there are no buildings that meet standards of NFPA 101: Life Safety Code ®. Variables that do not meet the standards at Kementerian Pertanian are vertical openings, compartmentation, and smoke control. While variables that already meet the standards are smoke detectors and building construction."
