"Dalam men-desain sesuatu, seringkali terdapat tujuan dan kendala yang berbeda. Sangatlah sulit untuk membuat desain yang kompleks hanya dengan menggunakan kertas dan pena dikarenakan terdapat beberapa model desain yang lebih baik dimodelkan secara desain kompleks yang bersifat deskriptif, walaupun terdapat beberapa model yang dapat dengan mudah dijelaskan secara matematis. Pada skripsi ini, dijelaskan tentang metode yang berbasis Design Structure Matrix (DSM) yang digunakan untuk optimasi desain module. Skripsi ini memberikan pendekatan baru untuk desain ruang mesin menggunakan konsep modularisasi dengan konsiderasi kapal seri. Karakteristik dari metode yang diajukan ialah: memperhatikan sistem perpipaan dari kapal seri dengan ukuran yang berbeda. Lalu biaya dan bobot dari sistem perpipaan tersebut, yang terakhir dipertimbangkan kesamaan dan umum dari kapal tersebut. Dalam menghasilkan module yang efektif dan dapat digunakan pada berbagai macam kapal yang berbeda, metode design structure matrix digunakan. Modularisasi dibagi menjadi 2 poin penting: module opsional dan module umum. Dalam hal ini, algoritma secara genetic digunakan untuk menyusun module yang telah di optimasi. Dengan tambahan, tes simulasi dari desain yang telah dioptimasi dari beberapa sistem perpipaan dibahas kembali untuk mengilustrasikan prosedur dari megoptimasikan sebuah desain dan menguji keefektifan dari metodologi yang telah diajukan dalam skripsi ini"

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai analisis desain stasiun bawah tanah Bendungan Hilir pada sistem MRT Jakarta, dengan memperhatikan faktor peningkatan proyeksi penumpang, adanya potensi interkoneksi dengan lingkungan sekitar, serta standar kualitas pelayanan yang tinggi. Pendekatan pemodelan berbasis agen digunakan untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan fokus kajian pada pergerakan penumpang dalam desain stasiun. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu rekomendasi desain stasiun bawah tanah MRT Jakarta tersebut, serta hasil model desain stasiun yang menjadi acuan pengkajian berbasis agen pada kasus desain stasiun lainnya.

This study discusses about the analysis of Bendungan Hilir underground station design in MRT Jakarta system, taking into account factors such as growth of passenger volume projection, interconnection potential to surrounding area, and also high standard of service quality. Agent-based modeling approach is chosen to accommodate the need in focusing the study analysis to passengers movement inside the station design. The results are a recommendation of MRT Jakarta underground station design, and also a model of station design as the role model for agent-based analysis approach for other station design case."
