"Menurut laporan Ericsson Mobility Report (2018), bahwa Jumlah total langganan seluler ada di sekitar 7,9 miliar pada Q3 2018, dengan 120 juta pelanggan baru bertambah pada kuartal tersebut. Di Indonesia juga sudah cukup banyak orang yang melek dengan teknologi, terutama internet. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti ingin mencari tentang karakteristik dari aplikasi (mobile app) yang berbayar (purchase) dan gratis (Free), terhadap peluang usaha pada perusahaan baru (startup) di Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengamatan pada big data dan big data analytics, dari hasil pengumpulan aplikasi dalam bentuk populasi pada Google Play dan Apple App Store Indonesia. Pengambilan data akan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python 3.7 dan Anaconda sebagai IDE (Integrated Development Environment) sebagai basis visualisasi dari data dan program. Pengumpulan data dan penelitian akan berjalan dimulai dari Januari 2020.

According to the Ericsson Mobility Report (2018), the total number of cellular subscriptions is around 7.9 billion in Q3 2018, with 120 million new customers increasing in the quarter. In Indonesia, there are many people who are literate with technology, especially the internet. In this study, researchers want to find out about the characteristics of the application (mobile app) that is paid and free with in-app purchases, to business opportunities in new companies (startups) in Indonesia. In this study, observations will be made on big data and big data analytics, from the results of collecting applications in the form of population on Indonesia Google Play and Apple App Store. Data processing will use the Python 3.7 programming language, and Anaconda as an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) as the basis for visualization of data and programs. Data collection and research will run starting from January 2020."

"Latar belakang: Fokus desinfeksi saluran akar saat ini telah mengalami perubahan dari desinfeksi agresif menjadi proteksi selektif, yang memiliki tujuan utama untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang sesuai, oleh karena itu, bahan irigasi alami sebagai pendamping mulai banyak diteliti potensialnya karena relatif aman. Larutan irigasi dengan kualitas optimal yang dapat membersihkan saluran akar secara menyeluruh sendiri masih belum tersedia dan meskipun ada perkembangan baru di bidang penelitian yang relevan, solusi yang lebih mendekati kualitas ideal belum dikembangkan. Cuka apel dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan alternatif alami yang aman untuk mengeliminasi biofilm sekaligus smear layer, sehingga berpotensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan efek antibakteri bahan irigasi sintetik NaOCl 1,5% dan 2,5% dibandingkan dengan larutan cuka apel terhadap E. faecalis. Metode: Biofilm E. faecalis isolat klinis dibagi menjadi tujuh kelompok sampel untuk dipaparkan dengan bahan uji larutan cuka apel konsentrasi 2,5%, 5%, 10%, kontrol positif NaOCl 1,5%, 2,5% dan kontrol negatif tanpa perlakuan, efek antibakteri dilihat menggunakan metode MTT Assay dan hitung koloni. Hasil: Didapatkan hasil dari kedua uji yang dilakukan bahwa larutan cuka apel konsentrasi 2,5% memiliki efek antibakteri terhadap biofilm E. faecalis tertinggi dibandingkan dengan konsentrasi 5% dan 10%. Kesimpulan: Efek antibakteri larutan cuka apel 2,5%, 5%, dan 10% lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan larutan NaOCl 1,5% dan 2,5% terhadap biofilm E. faecalis.

Introduction: The current focus of root canal disinfection has changed from aggressive disinfection to selective protection, which has the main goal of creating a suitable environment, therefore, natural irrigation materials as a companion have begun to be studied for their potential because they are relatively safe. Irrigation solutions of optimal quality that can thoroughly clean root canals on their own are not yet available and despite new developments in the relevant research area, solutions closer to the ideal quality have not yet been developed. Apple cider vinegar can be used as a safe natural alternative for eliminating biofilm as well as the smear layer, so it has the potential to be developed further. Objective: To determine the differences in the antibacterial effect of synthetic irrigants NaOCl 1,5% and 2,5% compared to apple cider vinegar solution against E. faecalis. Methods: Clinical isolates of E. faecalis biofilm were divided into seven sample groups to be exposed to test materials for apple cider vinegar concentrations of 2,5%, 5%, 10%, positive control NaOCl 1,5%, 2,5%, and negative control without treatment, the antibacterial effect was seen using the MTT Assay method and colony count. Results: The results of the two tests were obtained that a 2.5% concentration of apple cider vinegar had the highest antibacterial effect on E. faecalis biofilm compared to 5% and 10% concentrations. Conclusion: The antibacterial effect of 2,5%, 5%, and 10% apple cider vinegar solutions was lower than 1,5% and 2,5% NaOCl solutions on E. faecalis biofilm.

"[ABSTRAK
Cuka apel telah lama digunakan untuk menekan nafsu makan dengan tujuan untuk menurunkan berat badan. Namun, belum banyak bukti penelitian ilmiah yang membuktikan pengaruh penekanan nafsu makan tersebut. Dengan demikian peneliti melakukan sebuah studi eksperimental dengan hipotesis yang akan diuji adalah efektivitas cuka apel dalam menurunkan nafsu makan tikus tidak sebaik yang dimiliki mazindol. Jenis tikus yang digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian adalah tikus Sprague Dawley dengan berat 190- 250 gram. Sampel berjumlah 24 ekor dan dibagi dalam 3 kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol (sebagai kontrol negatif), kelompok mazindol (sebagai kontrol positif), dan kelompok cuka apel. Semua sampel mendapat perlakuan yang sama. Nafsu makan, yang ditunjukkan oleh berat sisa makanan yang diamati selama 2 minggu. Data berat sisa makanan dianalisis menggunakan uji hipotesis One Way Anova dan uji Post Hoc. Peneliti mendapati ada perbedaan bermakna secara statistik berat sisa makanan antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok cuka apel (p = 0,000) dengan uji One Way Anova dan (p = 0,000) dengan uji Post Hoc. Sementara itu, tidak adanya perbedaan bermakna terlihat pada kelompok kontrol dan mazindol (p = 0,623)
dengan uji Post Hoc. Dengan demikian disimpulkan efektivitas cuka apel dalam menurunkan nafsu makan lebih baik daripada mazindol.

Thereby, researcher conducted an experimental study and define the effectiveness of apple cider vinegar is not as good as mazindol for suppressing appetite as the hypothesis. Researcher used Sprague Dawley strain rats which weight are 190-250 grams as research sample. Twenty four rats devided into 3 groups, that is control group (as negative control), mazindol group (as positive control), and apple cider vinegar group. All samples given same treatment. Appetite assessed by the weight of leftovers which has been monitored for 2 weeks. The data of leftovers analyzed by One Way Anova and Post Hoc hyphoteses tests. Researcher found that there is significance difference of leftovers between control and apple cider vinegar group (p = 0,000) using One Way Anova test and (p = 0,000) using Post Hoc test. Meanwhile there is no significance difference between control and mazindol group (p = 0,623) using Post Hoc hypothesis test. "Produk Apple Airpods telah menarik banyak kontroversi, dimana beberapa orang mengejek hal tersebut, dan ada juga yang hanya menanggapinya dengan biasa. Berbagai reaksi tersebut telah diberikan melalui berbagai bentuk, seperti dari berbagai meme yang diposting di Twitter. Makalah ini akan meneliti bagaimana penggambaran Airpods dan penggunanya yang direpresentasikan melalui beberapa meme yang tersebar di media sosial Twitter untuk menentukan bagaimana hal tersebut dapat membentuk kelompok tertentu. Korpus penelitian merupakan sepuluh meme yang diambil dari Twitter, terutama yang diposting pada akhir tahun 2018. Makalah ini menggunakan Mitologi Roland Barthes untuk menganalisis penelitian yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana AirPod direpresentasikan dalam meme, bagaimana meme AirPod merepresentasikan citra diri penggunanya, dan bagaimana representasi AirPods berkorelasi dengan kelas sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk berkontribusi pada pengetahuan dan studi representasi dalam literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk AirPods masih direpresentasikan dengan konotasi negatif dalam beberapa kasus, yang sebagai hasilnya menciptakan citra negatif bagi penggunanya dari sudut pandang orang lain. Namun, konotasi negatif menjadi kontraproduktif yang digunakan untuk membuat kelompok kelas sosial mereka sendiri yang didasarkan pada kekayaan.

The Apple Airpods product has drawn numerous controversies, where some people ridiculed it, the others just get along with it. Those various reactions have been given through many forms, such as from the various memes posted on Twitter. This paper will examine how the Airpods images and its users are represented through several memes that spread in social media twitter in order to determine how it forms a certain particular group. The corpus is ten memes taken from Twitter, especially the one posted in late 2018. This paper uses Roland Barthes`s Mythologies in order to analyze the corpus which is used to illustrate how the AirPods are represented in the memes, how the AirPods memes represented the user`s self-image, and how AirPods representation correlates with the social class. The study aims to contribute to the knowledge and studies of representation in literature. The results show that the AirPods product still being represented in negative connotations in some cases, which as a result creates a negative image to its user from other people's perspectives. However, the negative connotations become counterproductive that is used to create a high social class group of their own which based on wealth."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari tentang self concept, kesadaran terhadap brand dan faktor-faktor motivasi konsumsi conspicuous consumption dan brand self congruency yang ada di dalam diri masyarakat perkotaan di Jabodetabek terhadap luxury smartphone yaitu Apple iPhone 6 sehingga mempengaruhi perilaku nyata konsumen untuk melakukan loyalitas terhadap brand dan memiliki minat beli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif.
Hasil analisis data dari 140 responden yang menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) ini menyarankan bahwa pemasar luxury smartphone perlu memahami self concept yaitu kesadaran diri di mata publik, membangun kepribadian brand yang dapat diterima dan memiliki kongruensi dengan diri konsumen dan mempertahankan nilai luxury pada brand yang dapat menggambarkan status tertentu di masyarakat sehingga dapat mempengaruhi brand loyalty dan purchase intention konsumen terhadap brand tersebut.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to study the self concept, brand consciousness, and consumption motivations (conspicuous consumption and brand self congruency) of urban people in Jakarta Greater Area towards Apple iPhone 6 as luxury smartphone. These factors will affect consumers? real behavior to have brand loyalty and purchase intention towards the product and the brand. This research used quantitative research method with descriptive design.
The result of 140 respondents? data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). suggested that the luxury smartphone marketers need to understand the self concept?public self consciousness, to build brand personality that can be accepted and having congruence with consumers? self concept, and maintain the luxury value of brand that could describe specified status in the society so can affect consumers? brand loyalty and purchase intention towards the brand.
