"This book describes the state-of-the art of industrial and academic research in the architectural design of heterogeneous, multi/many-core processors. The authors describe methods and tools to enable next-generation embedded and high-performance heterogeneous processors to confront cost-effectively the inevitable variations by providing Dependable-Performance: correct functionality and timing guarantees throughout the expected lifetime of a platform under thermal, power, and energy constraints. Various aspects of the reliability problem are discussed, at both the circuit and architecture level, the intelligent selection of knobs and monitors in multicore platforms, and systematic design methodologies. The authors demonstrate how new techniques have been applied in real case studies from different applications domain and report on results and conclusions of those experiments.
- Enables readers to develop performance-dependable heterogeneous multi/many-core architectures
- Describes system software designs that support high performance dependability requirements
- Discusses and analyzes low level methodologies to tradeoff conflicting metrics, i.e. power, performance, reliability and thermal management
- Includes new application design guidelines to improve performance dependability."

Electronic board or PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is a part that can not be separated from electronic devices such as mobile phones, televisions, computers, refrigerators and washing machines. Along with the times, electronic devices are increasingly sophisticated and more and more produced. Humans today also cannot be separated from cell phones in their daily lives. New models or types of mobile phones continue to grow each year and many consumers are always replacing their mobile phones with new ones. Coupled with household appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators that have been damaged, making the amount of electronic waste that has accumulated. Re-use of electronic materials that have been thrown away, will increase the selling value of the electronic waste. The valuable materials such as gold, copper, aluminum and tin contained in electronic waste, especially on the electronic board or PCB (Printed Circuit Board). To get this material, separation is needed. One of them is by chopping with a chopper machine. Electronic boards will be chopped so that a smaller size is obtained from the board. With the size that has been chopped, it will be easily processed further and more specifically for the acquisition of the desired valuable material. The chopper is capable of chopping with an average size of 8,124 mm with an 8 mm sieve, 7,121 mm with a 6 mm sieve and 5,244 mm with a 4 mm sieve. The enumeration capacity of 24 kg / hour for sieve size of 8 mm, 17 kg / hour for sieve size of 6 mm, and 10 kg / hour for sieve size of 4 mm."

"The book begins by discussing the distinctive features of ESs, above all their cybernetic-physical character, and how they can be designed to deliver the required performance with a minimum amount of hardware. In turn, it presents a range of design methodologies. Considerable attention is paid to the hardware implementation of computational algorithms. It is shown that different parts of complex ESs could be implemented using models of finite state machines (FSMs). Also, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) are very often used to implement different hardware accelerators in ESs. The book pays considerable attention to design methods for FPGA-based FSMs, before the closing section turns to programmable logic controllers widely used in industry."

"This book presents a tutorial review of van der Pol model, a universal oscillator model for the analysis of modern RC−oscillators in weak and strong nonlinear regimes. A detailed analysis of the injection locking in van der Pol oscillators is also presented. The relation between the van der Pol parameters and several circuit implementations in CMOS nanotechnology is given, showing that this theory is very useful in the optimization of oscillator key parameters, such as: frequency, amplitude and phase relationship. The authors discuss three different examples: active coupling RC−oscillators, capacitive coupling RC−oscillators, and two-integrator oscillator working in the sinusoidal regime.
· Provides a detailed tutorial on the van der Pol oscillator model, which can be the basis for the analysis of modern RC−oscillators in weak and strong nonlinear regimes;
· Demonstrations the relationship between the van der Pol parameters and several circuit implementations in CMOS nanotechnology, showing that this theory is a powerful tool in the optimization of key oscillator parameters;
· Provides three circuit prototypes implemented in modern CMOS nanotechnology in the GHz range, with applications in low area, low power, low cost, wireless sensor network (WSN) applications (e.g. IoT, BLE)."

In recent years, computational design has transformed the traditional design paradigm by enabling the creation of more efficient designs through digital techniques. One of the main challenges faced by architects in this digital era is the need to produce sustainable designs to maintain the coexistence between humans and nature. Biomimetic, an approach that mimics the strategies and principles of nature, can provide a solution to this challenge. This study discusses the implementation of the biomimetic approach in computational design to produce a visualization of the biomimetic design process, ultimately leading to innovative nature-based designs. The study is conducted through literature review, questionnaires, and case studies. The case study involves implementing the biomimetic approach in the computational design process to create a building envelope that adapts to the environmental context, particularly sunlight intensity. This process involves three main stages: knowledge, abstraction, and application. These stages are undertaken with a deep understanding of biological principles and their adaptation in the context of architectural design. The aim of this study is to investigate the potential integration of the biomimetic approach with computational design and provide a visualization of the computational design process that implements the biomimetic approach in creating a building envelope that adapts natural principles."
