"Tahapan perkembangan usia remaja umumnya berada pada usia siswa SLTA yang dibekali dengan tugas perkembangan untuk memiliki identitas diri yang baik. Penelitian sebelumnya menyebutkan adanya anggapan masyarakat bahwa salah satu bentuk pencapaian identitas diri siswa yang berhasil adalah mereka berhasil menjadi mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN). Demi memenuhi ekspektasi yang sempurna tersebut, sebagian siswa berusaha untuk istiqomah dalam belajar dengan mengikuti bimbingan belajar di luar sekolah. Dengan menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dan pengambilan data menggunakan purposive random sampling, penelitian ini mencoba untuk melihat bagaimana hubungan antara istiqomah belajar dan perfekstionisme siswa SLTA peserta bimbingan belajar serta mencoba untuk melihat pengaruh self-compassion sebagai variable moderator. Data yang diperoleh dari 90 responden menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara istiqomah belajar dengan perfeksionisme siswa (r = 0.417, p = 0.00), terdapat hubungan negatif antara perfectionism dan self-compassion (r = -0.329, p = 0.002), sementara self-compassion sebagai moderator tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam hubungan kedua variable lainnya ((Int_1 t= -0.3052, p = 0.7609).

The stages of adolescent development are generally at the age of high school students who are equipped with developmental tasks to have a good self-identity. Previous research mentioned that there was a public opinion that one form of achieving successful students' self-identity is that they succeed in becoming students at the State Higher Education Universities (PTN). In order to meet these perfect expectations, some students try to be istiqomah in learning by following tutoring program outside of school. By using quantitative research and data collection using purposive random sampling, this research tries to see how the relationship between istiqomah learning and perfectionism of high school students participating in tutoring and trying to see the effect of self-compassion as a moderator variable. Data obtained from 90 respondents showed that there is a significant relationship between Istiqomah learning and student perfectionism (r = 0.417, p = 0.00), there is a negative relationship between perfectionism and self-compassion (r = -0.329, p = 0.002), while self-compassion as a moderator has no significant effect on the relationship between the other two variables (Int_1 t= -0.3052, p = 0.7609).

"Tuntutan perkuliahan yang tinggi terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran daring dapat
menyebabkan academic burnout pada mahasiswa. Academic burnout dapat berdampak
pada kesejahteraan psikologis dan kelancaran perkuliahan mahasiswa, sehingga selfcompassion
diprediksi dapat menjadi strategi coping yang efektif. Penelitian ini menguji
hubungan antara self-compassion dan academic burnout pada mahasiswa program
sarjana, dengan menggunakan Self-Compassion Scale versi adaptasi bahasa Indonesia
(Sugianto dkk., 2020) dan Oldenburg Burnout Inventory Student Version (Reis dkk.,
2015). Partisipan berasal dari Universitas Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, dan
Universitas Gadjah Mada (N=291). Hasil penelitian mendukung hipotesis penelitian ini.
Ditemukan bahwa self-compassion memiliki hubungan negatif yang signifikan dengan
academic burnout (r = -0,43, p <0,01). Artinya, mahasiswa yang memiliki selfcompassion
yang tinggi, akan memiliki kecenderungan yang rendah untuk mengalami
academic burnout. Mahasiswa pada penelitian ini termasuk pada kategori kelompok yang
burnout (M=2,79, SD=0,45), dimana metode pembelajaran daring berperan pada hal
tersebut.

High study demands at college especially in online learning can make an impact on
academic burnout for the students. Academic burnout can affect the psychological wellbeing
and the smoothness journey of student's college life, thus self-compassion is
predicted to be the effective coping strategies for them. This study examines the
relationship between self-compassion and academic burnout in undergraduate students,
using Self-Compassion Scale Indonesian adaptation version (Sugianto et al., 2020) and
Oldenburg Burnout Inventory Student Version (Reis et al., 2015). The participants were
from Universitas Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, and Universitas Gadjah Mada
(N=291). The result of this study supports the hypothesis of this study. Namely, selfcompassion
has the negatively significant relationship with academic burnout (r = -0,43,
p <0,01). That means, student who have high self-compassion, would likely have a low
tendency of academic burnout. The students in this study is categorized in burnout group
(M=2,79, SD=0,45), whereas online learning method could take a role in this.

"Pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) di perguruan tinggi Indonesia menghadirkan sejumlah tantangan besar, terutama di tengah masa pandemi Covid-19. Self-efficacy dalam pembelajaran daring diketahui menjadi komponen penting bagi mahasiswa untuk menghadapinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara self-compassion dengan self-efficacy dalam pembelajaran daring pada mahasiswa program sarjana yang tengah menjalani perkuliahan daring secara penuh. Partisipan penelitian (N=290) merupakan mahasiswa S1 dari UI, ITB, dan UGM yang berusia 18-23 tahun. Mereka diukur menggunakan Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for Online Learning (SeQoL) dan Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). Ketiga institusi pendidikan ini dipilih atas dasar klasterisasi perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang melihat adanya perbedaan kualitas dalam pembelajaran daring. Hasil pengujian korelasi Pearson menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion yang dimiliki mahasiswa berhubungan secara signifikan dan positif dengan self-efficacy dalam pembelajaran daring (r(290) = 0,42, p < 0,01). Hubungan positif dan signifikan terkuat ditemukan pada komponen self-kindness dengan dimensi self-efficacy dalam berinteraksi sosial dengan teman sekelas. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman baru mengenai kondisi mahasiswa dalam konteks pembelajaran daring.

The implementation of distance learning among higher education institutions in Indonesia presents a number of challenges, especially in the midst of Covid-19. Self-efficacy in online learning context is known to be one of core component for students to deal with it. This study aimed to examine the relationship between self-compassion and online learning self-efficacy among undergraduate students who are undergoing full online lectures. Research participants (N= 290) are undergraduate students from UI, ITB, and UGM, aged between 18-23 years old. They were measured using Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for Online Learning (SeQoL) and Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). These three institutions were selected on the basis of a clusterization among universities in Indonesia, which saw differences in the quality of online learning. The Pearson correlation’s result showed that the students' self-compassion had a significant and positive relationship with online learning self-efficacy (r(290) = 0,42, p < 0,01). The strongest positive and significant relationship was found in self-kindness with dimension self-efficacy in social interaction with classmates. This study presents a new understanding of the students’ conditions in the context of online learning."

"Ketika memasuki perguruan tinggi, mahasiswa tahun pertama dihadapkan dengan berbagai tuntutan baru. Penyesuaian ke perguruan tinggi (college adjustment) dibutuhkan di awal masa perkuliahan karena dapat menentukan keberhasilan di perguruan tinggi. Pandemi Covid-19 menghambat college adjustment karena diberlakukannya pembelajaran jarak jauh. Sementara, penelitian sebelumnya menyatakan secara konseptual self-compassion dapat membantu college adjustment. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara self-compassion dan college adjustment pada mahasiswa tahun pertama dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh selama pandemi Covid-19. Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia angkatan 2020 (N = 381) disurvei menggunakan Self-Compassion Scale dan Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire. Uji korelasi Pearson menyatakan bahwa self-compassion dan college adjustment berhubungan positif signifikan (r(380) = 0,55, p < 0,001). Hubungan paling kuat ditemukan antara isolation dan personal-emotional adjustment (r(380) = -0,49, p < 0,001). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa self-compassion cenderung membantu penyesuaian perguruan tinggi dalam konteks pembelajaran jarak jauh.

When entering college, first-year students faced new challenges. College adjustment is necessary in early period of college because it can predict college success. Covid-19 pandemic hinders college adjustment due to distance learning. Meanwhile, a previous study conceptually mentioned that self-compassion supported college adjustment. This study examined the correlation between self-compassion and college adjustment among first-year college students in distance learning during Covid-19 pandemic. Students of Universitas Indonesia batch 2020 (N = 381) were surveyed using Self-Compassion Scale and Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire. Pearson’s correlation test showed a positive significant correlation between self-compassion and college adjustment (r(380) = 0,55, p < 0,001). The strongest correlation was found between isolation and personal-emotional adjustment (r(380) = -0,49, p < 0,001). These findings indicated that self-compassion tends to help a better college adjustment in distance learning context."

"Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan hasil-hasil yang bertentangan dan tidak konsisten mengenai hubungan antara performance goal orientation dan self-regulated learning. Terdapat dua tipe performance goal orientation, yaitu performance-approach goal orientation dan performance-avoidance goal orientation. Sebagian besar ahli berpendapat bahwa performance goal orientation tidak menunjang self-regulated learning. Namun, beberapa penelitian membuktikan bahwa performance goal orientation, khususnya tipe performance-approach goal orientation dapat memberikan efek yang menguntungkan bagi siswa dengan konteks atau kondisi tertentu. Penelitian ini menguji trait extraversion dan neuroticism dari Five Factor Model yang merupakan salah satu kondisi siswa sebagai moderator pada hubungan masing-masing dari kedua tipe performance goal orientation dan self-regulated learning. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 293 siswa dari tiga SMA yang menerapkan Kurikulum 2013. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa performance-approach goal orientation tidak memiliki korelasi yang signifikan dengan self-regulated learning. Performance-avoidance goal orientation ditemukan secara signifikan berkorelasi negatif dengan self-regulated learning. Sementara itu, trait extraversion dan neuroticism sama-sama terbukti tidak signifikan sebagai moderator.
Previous research suggested contradictive and inconsistent result about the correlation between performance goal orientation and self regulated learning. There are two types of performance goal orientation. They are performance approach goal orientation and performance avoidance goal orientation. Most of theorists suggested that performance goal orientation doesn rsquo t support self regulated learning. However, some researches found that performance goal orientation, especially performance approach goal orientation could be beneficial for students with certain context or condition. This study examines trait extraversion and neuroticism from Five Factor Model, which is one of students rsquo condition, as moderator in the correlation between each of the two types of performance goal orientation and self regulated learning. Participant involved are 293 students from three high schools that implements Kurikulum 2013. The result suggets that performance approach goal orientation has no significant correlation with self regulated learning. Performance avoidance goal orientation is found significantly has negative correlation with self regulated learning. Trait extraversion and neuroticism are not significant as moderator."

"Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak secara internal dan eksternal terhadap bagaimana mahasiswa menjalankan perkuliahan di perguruan tinggi. Hal ini membuat tuntutan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa tahun pertama menjadi bertambah. Self-compassion sebagai strategi koping yang sehat dapat membantu mahasiswa tahun pertama dalam mengatasi tuntutan selama perkuliahan secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara self-compassion dengan penyesuaian diri mahasiswa tahun pertama selama perkuliahan secara daring di masa pandemi dan juga melihat perbandingan variabel self-compassion dan penyesuaian diri mahasiswa pada data demografis. Partisipan penelitian adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2021 program sarjana yang berkuliah secara daring (N = 351). Metode penelitian menggunakan desain non-eksperimental dan data diolah dengan analisis korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) self-compassion berkorelasi secara positif dan signifikan terhadap penyesuaian diri mahasiswa, 2) setiap komponen self-compassion berkorelasi secara positif dan signifikan terhadap penyesuaian diri mahasiswa dan 3) self-compassion menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada variabel demografis (umur dan jenis universitas). Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah self-compassion dapat digunakan sebagai strategi koping dalam mengatasi tuntutan transisi mahasiswa tahun pertama pada masa perkuliahan secara daring di masa pandemi, dan perguruan tinggi perlu membekali mahasiswanya dengan strategi tersebut.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact both internally and externally on how students carry out lectures at universities. This makes the things experienced by first-year college students increase. Self-compassion as a healthy coping strategy can help first-year college students in overcoming problems during lectures. This study aims to see the relationship between self-compassion and adjustment of first-year college students during lectures during the pandemic and also to compare the variables of self-compassion and college student adjustment to demographic data. Research participants are college students of the 2021 undergraduate program who study online (N = 351). The research method uses a non-experimental design and the data is processed by correlational analysis. The results showed that: 1) self-compassion was positively and significantly correlated with college student adjustment, 2) each component of self-compassion was positively and significantly correlated with college student adjustment and 3) self-compassion showed significant differences in demographic variables (age and type of university). The implication of this research is that self-compassion can be used as a coping strategy in dealing with the transition of first-year college students during online lectures during a pandemic, and universities need to equip their students with this strategy.

"Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh self-compassion sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara peer relatedness dan efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier. Peneliti menggunakan adaptasi Bahasa Indonesia dari alat ukur The Youth Relatedness Scale untuk mengukur peer relatedness, Self-Compassion Scale untuk mengukur self-compassion, dan Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form untuk mengukur efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 650 orang siswa SMA kelas XI dan XII dari berbagai area di Jabodetabek. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam memediasi hubungan antara peer relatedness dan efikasi diri dalam keputusan karier siswa SMA (p < 0.05). Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan implikasi praktis bagi sekolah agar dapat menciptakan iklim kelas dan sekolah yang kompak dan suportif, serta lebih melatih keterampilan sosial siswa agar dapat membangun hubungan pertemanan yang positif yang dapat mendukung perkembangan kariernya.

This quantitative research aims to see the effect of self-compassion as a mediator in the relationship between peer relatedness and career decision self-efficacy. Researcher used Indonesian adaptation from The Youth Relatedness Scale to measure peer relatedness, Self-Compassion Scale to measure self-compassion, and Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form to measure self-efficacy in career decisions. The sample in this study are 650 high school students in 11th and 12th grade from various areas in Greater Jakarta. The results of the analysis showed that self-compassion had a significant influence in mediating the relationship between high school students peer relatedness and career decision self-efficacy (p <0.05). The results of this study can have practical implications for schools to create a unified and supportive classroom and school climate, and train students social skills better so they could build positive friendships with peers that can support their career development."

"Dalam kehidupan perkuliahan di universitas, stres akademik senantiasa menjadi faktor penghalang bagi mahasiswa untuk mencapai subjective well being yang tinggi. Self compassion diperkenalkan sebagai salah satu variabel yang berpotensi dapat melindungi mahasiwa dari stres akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana efek self compassion dalam memoderasi hubungan antara stres akademik dan subjective well being. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 251 mahasiswa dengan rentang usia berkisar antara 18-23 tahun (M=21,18, SD=1.33). Hasil analisis korelasi Pearson menunjukan bahwa stres akademik secara signfikan berkorelasi negatif dengan subjective well being. Hasil analisis moderasi menggunakan PROCESS Macro Hayes menunjukan bahwa self compassion tidak berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap hubungan antara stres akademik dan subjective well being. Hasil penelitian, implikasi, limitasi, serta saran untuk penelitian kedepannya didiskusikan.

In university life, academic stress is always become a major obstacle for students to achieve high subjective well-being. Self-compassion is introduced as a variable that has the potential to protect students from academic stress. This study aims to see how the effect of self- compassion in moderating the relationship between academic stress and subjective well-being. The participants of this study were 251 students with an age range ranging from 18-23 years (M=21.18, SD=1.33). The results of Pearson correlation analysis shows that academic stress is significantly negatively correlated with subjective well being. The results of the moderating analysis using PROCESS Macro Hayes show that self-compassion does not contribute significantly to the relationship between academic stress and subjective well-being. The research results, implications, limitations, and suggestions for future research are discussed."

"Mahasiswa (undergraduate students) mengalami tuntutan yang tinggi untuk sukses di bidang akademik dan menjadi orang yang sukses di masa depan. Hal ini membuat mahasiswa cenderung menetapkan standar yang tinggi bagi dirinya dan berisiko tinggi untuk mengembangkan perfeksionisme maladaptif. Perfeksionisme maladaptif berhubungan dengan berbagai gangguan psikologis, salah satunya adalah gejala gangguan makan. Self-compassion diduga memiliki peran sebagai mediator terhadap hubungan antara perfeksionisme maladaptif dan gejala gangguan makan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah perfeksionisme maladaptif mampu memprediksi gejala gangguan makan dan melihat peran self-compassion dalam memediasi hubungan antara perfeksionisme maladaptif dan gejala gangguan makan pada mahasiswa. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang berusia 18-25 tahun. Data penelitian dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif, korelasi, regresi sederhana, dan mediasi. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Eating Attitudes Test-26 (EAT-26) (Garner et al., 1982) untuk mengukur gejala gangguan makan, Almost Perfect Scale-Revised (APS-R) (Slaney et al., 2001) untuk mengukur perfeksionisme maladaptif, dan Self-Compasssion Scale (SCS) (Neff, 2003) untuk mengukur self-compassion. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 203 partisipan mahasiswa yang tergolong perfeksionis maladaptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perfeksionisme maladaptif dapat memprediksi gejala gangguan makan. Selain itu, self-compassion memediasi secara penuh hubungan antara perfeksionisme maladaptif dan gejala gangguan makan pada mahasiswa.

Undergraduate students experience high demands to succeed in academics and become successful people in the future. This makes undergraduate students tend to set high standards for themselves and are at high risk for developing maladaptive perfectionism. Maladaptive perfectionism is associated with various psychological disorders, one of them is the symptoms of eating disorders. Self-compassion is thought to have a role as a mediator in the relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and eating disorder symptoms. The purpose of this study was to see if maladaptive perfectionism was able to predict eating disorder symptoms and to examine the role of self-compassion in mediating the relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and eating disorder symptoms in undergraduate students. Participants in this study were undergraduate students aged 18-25 years. Research data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive, correlation, simple regression, and mediation statistical tests. The measuring instrument used in this study were the Eating Attitudes Test-26 (EAT-26) (Garner et al., 1982) to measure symptoms of eating disorders, Almost Perfect Scale-Revised (APS-R) (Slaney et al., 2001) to measure maladaptive perfectionism, and the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) (Neff, 2003) to measure self-compassion. This study was conducted on 203 undergraduate student participants who were classified as maladaptive perfectionists. The results showed that maladaptive perfectionism could predict eating disorder symptoms. In addition, self-compassion was proven to fully mediate the relationship between maladaptive perfectionism and eating disorder symptoms in undergraduate students."

"Pandemi Covid-19 merupakan krisis yang menyebabkan hampir seluruh organisasi profit mengalami kerugian finansial, pengurangan karyawan dan bahkan penutupan lini usaha. Dalam menghadapi krisis, analisis risiko dan kelancaran komunikasi internal organisasi merupakan isu kebijakan yang penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengujian empiris atas pengaruh organizational learning dalam mempengaruhi organizational resilience, serta efek mediasi strategic agility dan inovasi organisasi. Pengujian teori dilakukan dengan melakukan survei terhadap 169 perusahaan di dalam direktori industri manufaktur BPS 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis structural equation modelling (SEM), dimana hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara seluruh variabel yang diuji, yaitu organizational learning, strategic agility, serta inovasi organisasi terhadap organizational resilience. Efek mediasi oleh strategic agility dan inovasi organisasi juga menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Pembangunan kapabilitas dasar perlu diawali untuk membentuk organisasi yang kuat dalam situasi krisis. Organizational learning perlu dibentuk sebagai sistem di dalam organisasi. Kemudian, kebijakan learning diarahkan secara langsung kepada kapabilitas agility, inovasi, dan resilience. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel - variabel tersebut dapat membangun ketahanan organisasi dalam menghadapi krisis ekstrim.

The Covid-19 pandemic is a crisis that has caused almost all profitable organizations to experience losses, layoffs of employees and even closure of business lines. In dealing with a crisis, risk analysis and smooth internal organizational communication are important policies. This study aims to conduct an empirical examination of the effect of organizational learning on organizational resilience, as well as the mediating effects of strategic agility and organizational innovation. Testing the theory was carried out by conducting a survei of 169 companies in the BPS 2021 manufacturing industry directory. This study used structural modeling equation analysis (SEM), where the results of the analysis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between all the variables tested, namely organizational learning, strategic agility, and organizational innovation on organizational resilience. The mediating effect by strategic agility and organizational innovation also shows significant results. Development of basic capabilities needs to be anticipated to form a strong organization in a crisis situation. Organizational learning needs to be formed as a system within the organization. Then, learning policies are directed directly to agility, innovation, and resilience capabilities. This shows that these variables can build organizational resilience in facing extreme crises"
