Selama PKPA, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja profesi.

Pharmacist's competency standards in Indonesia consist of ten (10) competency standards as abilities expected by pharmacists when they graduate and enter professional work practices. As a preparation and experience of prospective pharmacists to be able to understand the role of pharmacists and improve competence, the Pharmacist Professional Internship was implemented at PT. Mahakam Beta Farma, The South Jakarta Administration City Health Office, and Apotek Kimia Farma No.282 during the January-April 2019 period. During PKPA, it is expected that pharmacist candidates can broaden their horizons, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in professional workplaces."

The Indonesian Pharmacists Association has set ten (10) pharmacist competency standards as a capability expected when the pharmacist graduates and enters the professional workplace. As a preparation and experience of prospective pharmacists to be able to understand the role of pharmacists and improve competence, PKPA conducted at PT. Guardian Pharmatama, The South Jakarta Administration City Health Office, and Apotek Kimia Farma No. 202 Period January-April 2019. During PKPA, it is hoped that prospective pharmacists can increase their insight, understanding and experience in doing pharmaceutical work in professional workplaces."

"Apoteker memiliki peranan yang penting dalam industri farmasi, apotek, serta distributor obat dan alat kesehatan. Apoteker perlu memenuhi standar kompetensi sebagai persyaratan untuk menjalankan praktik profesi di tempat-tempat tersebut. Standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari sepuluh hal sebagai kemampuan mendasar yang harus dimiliki oleh apoteker saat lulus dan memasuki dunia praktik profesik. Sebagai calon apoteker, mahasiswa diberikan bekal dan pengalaman melalui praktik kerja agar dapat memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi yang dimilikinya. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan praktik kerja pada periode bulan Januari hingga April 2019 di beberapa tempat yaitu PT. Abbott Indonesia, Apotek Kimia Farma no.282, serta PT. Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari. Dengan adanya praktik kerja profesi ini, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian yang sebenarnya.

Pharmacists need to meet competency standards as a requirement for carrying out professional practice in these places. Indonesian pharmacist competency standards consist of ten things as a basic ability that must be possessed by pharmacists when graduating and entering the world of professional practice. As a pharmacist, students are given the preparation and experience through internship in order to understand the role of the pharmacist and improve our competence. Therefore, internship were carried out in the period of January to April 2019 in several places, which are PT. Abbott Indonesia, Apotek Kimia Farma no. 282, and PT. Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari. This professional internship is expected can expand insights, understandings and experiences of pharmacy students to do the real pharmaceutical practices."

"Profesi apoteker mempunyai peran penting dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian. Salah satu hal penting yang harus dilakukan untuk menjadi seorang apoteker profesional adalah berpartisipasi langsung dalam melakukan praktik kefarmasian. Maka dari itu, calon apoteker dituntut untuk menjalani prktik profesi sebagai bekal dan pengalaman untuk memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di PT Mahakam Beta Farma periode Januari – Februari 2022 dan Apotek Roxy Jatikramat periode Maret 2022. Melalui proses PKPA di industri farmasi dan apotek tersebut, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman yang sesuai untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian.

Therefore, prospective pharmacists are required to undergo professional practice as a provision and experience to understand the role of pharmacists and increase competence before entering the world of work. The Professional Practice of Pharmacist is held at PT Mahakam Beta Farma for January – February 2022 periode, and Apotek Roxy Jatikramat for March 2022 period. Through the activities in the pharmaceutical industry, distributor, and pharmacy, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to obtain appropriate insight, knowledge, skills, and experience to perform pharmaceutical practice"

"Apoteker adalah sarjana Farmasi yang telah lulus dan telah mengucapkan sumpah jabatan apoteker, mereka yang berdasarkan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku dan berhak melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di Indonesia sebagai Apoteker. Apoteker memiliki beberapa peran utama, yaitu di sarana produksi sediaan farmasi, sarana pendistribusian sediaan farmasi, dan sarana pelayanan kefarmasian. Apoteker harus memenuhi Standar Kompetensi Apoteker Indonesia untuk dapat melaksanakan praktik kefarmasian. Untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan pengetahuan calon apoteker, maka dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di PT. Pharmacists are bachelors of pharmacy who have graduated and have taken the oath of a pharmacist, those who are, according to the law, are entitled to do pharmacy work in Indonesia as a Pharmacist. Pharmacists have several main roles, namely in the pharmaceutical production facilities, pharmaceutical distribution facilities, and pharmaceutical service facilities. Pharmacists must meet the Indonesian Pharmacist Competency Standards to be able to carry out pharmaceutical practices. To improve the competency and knowledge of prospective pharmacists, internship (PKPA) are implemented at PT. Pertiwi Agung (Landson), South Jakarta City Health Department, and Kimia Farma Pharmacy No. 400 Grand Galaxy during the period January - April 2019. During internships, it is expected that prospective pharmacists can expand their horizons and knowledge, and overcome problems that might be encountered while doing pharmaceutical-related work."

"Obat merupakan bahan atau campuran yang digunakan sebagai penetapan diagnosis, pencegahan, penyembuhan, pemulihan, serta peningkatan kesehatan manusia. Oleh sebab itu produk yang dihasilkan industri farmasi harus dilakukan product quality review (PQR) yang dilakukan secara berkala terhadap semua produk farmasi yang terdaftar termasuk ekspor, untuk menilai standar kualitas masing-masing produk obat dengan melihat konsistensi proses yang ada, kesesuaian dari spesifikasi bahan awal, bahan pengemas hingga produk jadi. Hiperkolesterolemia adalah salah satu gangguan metabolisme lipid yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar kolesterol di dalam darah melebihi batas normal yang memiliki risiko kematian penyakit jantung koroner. Banyaknya pasien berkunjung dan melakukan swamedikasi di Apotek Roxy Pondok Labu untuk meredakan gejala hiperkolesterolemia yang dikeluhkannya. Sehingga perlu diketahui gambaran konsumsi obat hiperkolesterolemia dalam mengatasi keluhan pasien sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar pertimbangan bagi farmasis dalam melakukan kegiatan pengelolaan sediaan farmasi mulai dari perencanaan, pengadaan hingga pengendalian stok obat di Apotek Roxy Pondok Labu. Penyusunan Product Quality Review, dan gambaran konsumsi obat hiperkolesterolemia dilakukan pada saat Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker di PT Mahakam Beta Farma, dan Apotek Roxy Pondok Labu. Pengerjaan dilakukan pada periode Juli – Agustus, dan Oktober 2021.

Drugs are substances or mixtures that are used as a diagnosis, prevention, cure, recovery, and improvement of human health. Therefore, for the products produced by the pharmaceutical industry, product quality review (PQR) must be carried out periodically on all registered pharmaceutical products including exports, to assess the quality standards of each drug product by looking at the consistency of the process used, the suitability of the specifications of starting materials, packaging materials to finished products. Hypercholesterolemia is a lipid metabolism disorder which is characterized by an increase in cholesterol levels in the blood that exceeds the normal limit which has a risk of death from coronary heart disease. Many patients visit and do self-medication at the Roxy Pondok Labu Pharmacy to relieve the symptoms of hypercholesterolemia that they complain about. So it is necessary to know the description of hypercholesterolemic drug consumption in overcoming patient complaints so that it can be used as a basis for consideration for pharmacists in carrying out pharmaceutical preparations management activities ranging from planning, procurement to drug stock control at Roxy Pondok Labu Pharmacy. Preparation of Product Quality Review, and description of hypercholesterolemia drug consumption was carried out during the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice at PT Mahakam Beta Farma, and Roxy Pondok Labu Pharmacy. Work is carried out in the period July – August, and October 2021."
