"The study of quality management is associated with improved quality. Improved quality also is basically related to the decision-making at every stage of the production process. The decisions made will determine the success rate of quality improvement can be achieved. To achieve optimal results, we need quality improvement model as a planning program. The impact is related to the cost. This paper reviews several models of quality improvement. The discussion begins with a list of some existing models. Afterwards the models are grouped into a model approach that surveys the impact of quality improvement on the stages in the production process. Analysis is carried out on several models in order to achieve a target of the desired quality. From the analysis and discussion on the models of product quality improvement, it was found that the commercial aspects need to be taken into account in improving the product quality."

"Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji penerapan TQM dan hubungannya dengan fleksibilitas operasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak signifikan dari TQM pada fleksibilitas operasional adalah positif. Nilai utama dari hasil penelitian dapat menunjukkan pengaruh TQM terhadap fleksibilitas operasional pada rumah sakit di Jakarta dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja rumah sakit dan efisiensi Delapan dimensi TQM digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Leadership Training Employee Management Information and Analysis Supplier Management Process Management Focus consumer dan Countinuos Improvement. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari 245 responden karyawan yang bekerja di RSUPN Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo Delapan belas hipotesis yang diujikan diuji dengan Structural Equation Modelling SEM.

Focus of this study is to examine the implementation of TQM and its relationship to operational flexibility. The result show that the significant impact of TQM on operational flexibility has been argued to be positive. The value of the paper is that it points out the influence of TQM on operational flexibility at hospital in Jakarta in order to improve hospital performance and efficiency Eight dimension of TQM are used to this research which are Leadership Training Employee Management Information and Analysis Supplier Management Process Management Focus consumer and Countinuos Improvement. Data in this research is collected from 245 responden who work at RSUPN Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo Jakarta Sixteen hypoteses in this research are tested by Structrual Equation Modelling SEM."

"PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Internasional (Telin) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang jasa telekomunikasi yang memberikan layanan komunikasi data dan suara. Meningkatnya permasalahan perbulan terdapat rata-rata 150 dalam satu bulan gangguan yang dilaporkan berupa keluhan komunikasi data maupun komunikasi suara. Kegiatan penanganan gangguan ini dilaksanakan oleh engineer, kemudian hasil penanganan (troubleshoot) diberitakan kepada pelanggan.
Historis penanganan gangguan membuktikan bawah Telin belum memenuhi SLA kepada beberapa pelanggan, sehingga terdapat kesenjangan antara layanan yang diharapkan dengan yang didapatkan. Pemanfaatan dimensi dan atribut pada metode Service Quality digunakan untuk mendapatkan umpan balik dari pelanggan terkait ketidaksesuaian tersebut.
Umpan balik akan diolah dengan menggunakan metode Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) dan KANO untuk melihat dimensi dan atribut yang dianggap penting oleh pelanggan. Dimensi dan atribut terpilih akan diolah menggunakan metode Quality Function Deployment (QFD) untuk mendapatkan tindakan teknis sebagai rekomendasi memperkecil atau menghilangkan kesenjangan kualitas layanan yang diberikan.

PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia Internasional (Telin) is a telecomunication company which provides data communication and voice services. Many kind of problems are increasing on the average of 150 problems in a month due to customer reports about data communication and voice services. The reported problems are handled by an engineer, and the troubleshoot progress will be updated to the customer thereafter.
From the historical error-handling data, it is known that Telin has not fulfilled a SLA standard to some customers thus the discrepancies between the given and the expected service are occured. The of dimension and attribute on the Service Quality method are used for retrieving the feedback from customers in regard to the discrepancy issues.
The customers feedback is processed by using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and KANO methods to see how the dimension and attribute considered being important for them. The selected dimension and attribute are then processed by using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method in order to get the technical action as the recommendation of reducing or even removing such potentially issues of quality discrepancy from the service given.

"Produksi kendaraan pada industri otomotif Indonesia dalam delapan tahun terakhir cenderung mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini mendorong seluruh industri otomotif untuk meningkatkan performa sistem manufakturnya agar dapat bersaing dengan kompetitor lain. PT Ganding Toolsindo merupakan perusahaan otomotif yang berperan sebagai pemasok sub assembly part pada tingkat tier 2.
Sebagai perusahaan dengan tipe tata letak mesin process layout, penyesuaian tata letak mesin dengan keluarga produk yang ada menjadi penting. Tata letak mesin pada kondisi saat ini yang belum disesuaikan dengan keluarga produk menimbulkan pemborosan transportasi material handling dan aliran material yang tidak efisien sehingga berefek pada meningkatnya lead time mayoritas produk dan mengakibatkan keterlambatan pengiriman atau tidak terpenuhinya target produksi.
Penelitian ini dirancang untuk melakukan perancangan lean production system berbasis konsep cell manufacturing menggunakan Modified Single Linkage Clustering dengan parameter performa yang terdiri atas jarak dan durasi material handling, lead time, serta total waktu produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total jarak dan durasi materal handling berkurang sebanyak 60 , rata-rata lead time seluruh jenis produk berkurang sebesar 55 , dan total waktu produksi berkurang sebanyak 4.

Vehicle production in Indonesian automotive industry tend to increase in the last 8 years. This encourages the entire automotive industry to improve the performance of its manufacturing systems in order to compete with existing competitors. PT Ganding Toolsindo is an automotive company at second tier level that supply sub assembly part.
As a company that using process layout type, adjustment of machine layout with the existing product family becomes important. Existing machine layout in this company that has not been adjusted with the product family cause waste of material handling transportation and inefficient material flow resulting in increased lead time in the majority of products and resulting in delays in delivery or unfulfilled production targets.
This research is designed to do the design of lean production system based on cell manufacturing concept using Modified Single Linkage Clustering by using performance parameter consisting of distance and duration of material handling, lead time, and total time of production. Result of the research showed that total distance and duration of material handling decrease in the amount of 60 , lead time average of all product decrease in amount of 55 , and total time of production decrease in amount of 4 compared to the initial machine layout.

"Kebutuhan telekomunikasi termasuk kebutuhan primer bagi masyarakat Indonesia, salah satu aspek penting yang perlu diperhatikan oleh perusahaan jasa telekomunikasi adalah inovasi teknologi yang dapat mencakup seluruh wilayah Indonesia sampai ke pelosok area, bukan hanya telekomunikasi di darat bahkan saat berada ditengah laut sekalipun. Adanya kerjasama Perusahaan Telekomunikasi Selular untuk mendukung ketersediaan telemetri, yang kemudian memiliki manfaat besar yaitu tersedianya jaringan telepon selular bagi para penumpang diatas kapal, dan untuk terus berinovasi serta memberikan yang terbaik kepada konsumen, pihak penyedia layanan harus terus memperbaiki kualitas.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode SERVQUAL agar dapat diukur kualitas pelayanan berdasarkan lima dimensi kualitas pelayanan dengan menganalisa kesenjangan (gap) yang terjadi akibat ketidaksesuaian antara harapan dan persepsi pelanggan terhadap kualitas pelayanan yang diterima. Pada penelitian ini keinginan dan harapan konsumen diterjemahkan kedalam House of Quality pada Quality Function Deployment. Hasil penelitian diusulkan menggunakan nilai strategi perusahaan untuk mendapatkan prioritas perbaikan atribut pelayanan sesuai dengan kemampuan perusahaan.

The need for telecommunications, including the category of primary need for the people of Indonesia, one of the important aspects that need to be considered by the telecommunications company is a technological innovation that can cover all of Indonesia to outlying places, not only telecommunications on land even when in the middle of the ocean though. With Cellular Telecommunications Company cooperation to support the availAbility of telemetry, then develop into the greatest benefit is the availAbility of the Mobile phone network for the passengers on board, to continue to innovate and deliver the best to customers, the service providers must continue to improve quality.
Research conducted using the SERVQUAL method to used to measure the quality of service based on the five dimensions of service quality by analyzing gaps that occurs due to a mismatch between customer expectations and perceptions of the quality of service received. In this study wants and expectations of consumers translated into House of Quality in Quality Function Deployment. Results of research propose using strategy value to get priority repairs according to the company’s ability.
