This research aims to study about impulse buying behavior by consumer at Tokopedia social commerce platform which influenced by parasocial interaction role. This research is implemented on big cities like Jabodetabek. The relationship analyzed in this research is the influence of information fit-to-task, visual appeal to percieved usefulness, percieved enjoyment, percieved usefulness effect on perceived enjoyment, influence of perceived enjoyment toward urge to buy impulseively, influence similarity, expertise, likeability to parasocial interaction, parasocial interaction effect on impulse buying tendency, and influence impulse buying tendency toward urge to buy impulsively. The results of this study confirms that Expertise Against Parasocial Interaction, Impulse Buying Tendency Against Urge to Buy Impulsively, Information Fit-to-task Against Perceived Enjoyment, Information Fit-to-Task Against Perceived Usefulness, Likeability To Parasocial Interaction, Parasocial Interaction To Impulse Buying Tendency , Parasocial Interaction Against Perceived Enjoyment, Perceived Usefulness to Perceived Enjoyment, Visual Appeal to Perceived Enjoyment, Visual Appeal to Perceived Usefulness, has positive and significant influence. While the 2 relations of constructs which are Perceived Enjoyment Against Urge to Buy Impulsively, Similarity to Parasocial Interaction, has no positive and significant influence or no relationship."

"Penelitian ini meneliti bagaimana aspek fungsional dan psikologis Online Customer Service Experience (OCSE) mempengaruhi pembelian impulsif online pada platform e-commerce. Penelitian ini menguji peran mediasi loyalitas sikap (Attitudinal loyalty) pelanggan terhadap OCSE dan pembelian impulsif online, dan peran moderasi pengendalian diri (self-control) konsumen terhadap loyalitas sikap (Attitudinal loyalty) dan pembelian impulsif. Penelitian ini memperoleh 260 responden yang berusia 17-50 tahun yang memiliki pengalaman menggunakan e-commerce sebelumnya. Pengambilan data menggunakan metode survei dngan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara daring melalui Whatsapp dan Line. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan PLS-SEM, hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh dimensi OCSE dan pembelian impulsif online, dengan loyalitas sikap (Attitudinal loyalty) bertindak sebagai mediator dan tidak ada efek moderasi dari pengendalian diri (self-control). Studi ini berkontribusi pada literatur teoritis tentang pembelian impulsif online dan pengalaman pelanggan, dan menekankan untuk mempertimbangkan tidak hanya aspek fungsional platform tetapi juga faktor psikologis yang memengaruhi pengalaman belanja konsumen.
This study explores how the functional and psychological aspects of the Online Customer Service Experience (OCSE) affect online impulsive buying on e-commerce platforms. This research examines the mediating role of customers' attitudinal loyalty between the OCSE and online impulsive buying, and the moderating role of customers' self-control between attitudinal loyalty and impulsive buying. The research received 260 respondents aged 17-50 with prior e-commerce experience. The research data is collected through online survey that is distributed through Whatsapp and Line. Using PLS-SEM, the findings show an influence between the OCSE dimensions and online impulsive buying, with attitudinal loyalty acting as a mediator and no moderating effect is found from self-control. The study contributes to the theoretical literature on online impulsive buying and customer experience and highlights the importance of considering not just the functional aspects of the platform but also the psychological factors that influence user experience."

"Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pada konsumen online di Indonesia apakah motivasi hedonik yang terdiri dari adventure, idea, value, social dan relaxation memiliki signifikansi terhadap kecendrungan pembelian impulsif pada konsumen yang melakukan pembelian online, dan juga menemukan dimensi apa dari motivasi hedonik tersebut yang memiliki signifikansi paling besar terhadap kecendrungan pembelian impulsif online. Yang dalam pengumpulan datanya dilakukan penyebaran kuesioner dan dari total 169 sampel kemudian diuji lewat regresi berganda untuk ditemukan signifikansinya. Dan hasil yang didapat adalah bahwa motivasi adventure, idea, value dan relaxation mempunyai nilai signifikansi positif terhadap online impulse buying tendency, dan ditemukan juga bahwa motivasi social tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikansi apapun terhadap online impulse buying tendency.
The purpose of this research is to explore whether hedonic motivations which consist of adventure, idea, value, social and relaxation of Indonesia consumers have any significant impact on their online impulse buying tendency. And also to find which dimentions of those hedonic motivations that have strongest effect on online impulse buying tendency. An online survey was conducted and from the 169 sampe received, multiple regression method was conducted to test the data sample. And the finding confirm that adventure, idea, value, and relaxation motivation has positive impact on online impulse buying tendency. While social motivation has no significance on online impulse buying tendency."

"Perilaku pembelian-terencana yang dilakukan oleh konsumen online kini mulai bergeser pada perilaku pembelian tidak-terencana seperti impulse buying. Fenomena ini terjadi pada transaksi C2C commerce, sekalipun pemasar tidak memiliki kontrol yang besar seperti layaknya di B2C commerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami motivasi yang mendasari konsumen online dalam melakukan pembelian impulsif pada transaksi C2C commerce seperti yang diterapkan di FJB Kaskus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode in-depth interview untuk memperoleh gambaran mendalam dan menyeluruh mengenai motivasi konsumen online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi pembelian dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan hedonistik dan interaksi sosial yang terjalin di Kaskus yang merupakan komunitas virtual.
Planned-buying behavior by online consumers are now starting to shifted to unplanned-buying behavior such as impulse buying. This phenomenon occurs in the transaction of C2C commerce, though marketers have less-control rather than in B2C commerce. This research aims to understand underlying motivations of online consumers' in doing an impulse buying in C2C commerce's transaction as applied in FJB Kaskus. This research uses qualitative approach with in-depth interview method to obtain an in-depth and thorough overview of the motivation of online consumers. The results showed that impulse buying's motivation is effected by hedonist needs and social interaction that are intertwined in Kaskus as a virtual community."

"Seiring perkembangan e-commerce yang terus berlanjut, peran platform media sosial telah berkembang secara signifikan menjadi sebuah marketplace yang dapat memiliki kekuatan tersendiri dalam mendominasi pasar atau disebut social commerce. Dalam konteks ini, keberadaan digital celebrities di media sosial memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumen, melalui dukungan dan interaksi mereka yang membentuk keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku konsumen dalam pembelian impulsif di social commerce. Beberapa faktor diuji: social interaction, website ease of use, perceived usefulness, positive affect, parasocial relationship with digital celebrities, dan sale proneness. Menggunakan kuesioner online, penelitian ini berhasil mengumpulkan data dari 303 pengguna aplikasi TikTok yang sering menggunakan fitur TikTok Shop. Model Persamaan Struktural (SEM) digunakan untuk menganalisis data dan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa interaksi sosial, hubungan parasosial dengan selebriti digital, dan sale proneness terbukti memengaruhi dorongan untuk membeli secara impulsif sehingga akhirnya melakukan perilaku pembelian impulsif.
As e-commerce continues to evolve, the role of social media platforms has developed significantly into a marketplace that can independently wield its own power in dominating the market, known as social commerce. In this context, the presence of digital celebrities on social media has a significant influence on consumer behavior, through their endorsements and interactions that shape purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze factors that influence consumers' impulse buying behavior in social commerce. Several factors were tested: social interaction, website ease of use, perceived usefulness, positive affect, parasocial relationship with digital celebrities, and sale proneness. Using an online questionnaire, this study successfully collected data from 303 TikTok app users who frequently use the TikTok Shop feature. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used to analyze the data and the results of this study indicate that social interactions, parasocial relationships with digital celebrities, and sale proneness are proven to influence the urge to buy impulsively, resulting in impulse buying behavior."

"Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong perubahan signifikan dalam strategi pemasaran. Media pemasaran tradisional kini mulai tergantikan oleh media digital yang lebih interaktif, seperti media sosial. Semakin populer, media sosial memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk respons konsumen terhadap strategi pemasaran, termasuk dalam memengaruhi perilaku pembelian impulsif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh social media advertisement dan social media brand community terhadap impulse buying behaviour melalui impulse buying intention pada anggota komunitas Buttonscarves (BSLady) di Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner online kepada anggota BSLady. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan 149 data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM melalui software SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa social media advertisement berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap impulse buying behaviour, tetapi social media brand community tidak. Social media advertisement dan social media brand community memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan impulse buying intention. Selanjutnya, impulse buying intention terbukti memediasi hubungan antara kedua variabel independen tersebut terhadap impulse buying behaviour. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam literatur akademis terkait pemasaran digital dan perilaku konsumen, serta menawarkan wawasan praktis bagi perusahaan untuk mengembangkan strategi pemasaran berbasis media sosial yang efektif.
The advancement of information technology has driven significant changes in marketing strategies. Traditional marketing media are now being replaced by more interactive digital media, such as social media. As social media continues to gain popularity, it plays a crucial role in shaping consumer responses to marketing strategies, including influencing impulsive buying behaviour. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of social media advertisements and social media brand communities on impulse buying behaviour through impulse buying intention among members of the Buttonscarves (BSLady) community in Jabodetabek. This research employed a quantitative approach by distributing online questionnaires to members of the BSLady community. The sample was determined using purposive sampling and 149 collected responses were analyzed using PLS-SEM with the SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that social media advertisements have a significant positive influence on impulse buying behaviour, while social media brand communities do not. However, both social media advertisements and social media brand communities significantly influence impulse buying intention. Furthermore, impulse buying intention was found to mediate the relationship between the two independent variables and impulse buying behaviour. This study makes an important contribution to the academic literature on digital marketing and consumer behaviour, while also offering practical insights for companies to develop effective social media- based marketing strategies."

"Perkembangan e-commerce dan PayLater telah digunakan secara luas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari, yang dapat mengarah pada pembelian secara impulsif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara recommended product quality dan materialism terhadap e-impulse buying. Penelitian ini menggunakan 237 responden berusia 18-42 tahun yang pernah melakukan pembelian pakaian menggunakan Shopee PayLater. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah menggunakan metode Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa materialism memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap e-impulse buying. Sementara itu, recommended product quality tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap e-impulse buying. Diketahui bahwa customer satisfaction tidak memediasi pengaruh recommended product quality terhadap e-impulse buying. Di lain sisi, product image memediasi pengaruh recommended product quality terhadap e-impulse buying secara signifikan dan positif. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa online review stimuli tidak memoderasi pengaruh recommended product quality terhadap e-impulse buying secara signifikan dan positif. BNPL use memediasi hubungan positif antara materialism dengan e-impulse buying. Penelitian ini juga memberikan implikasi manajerial dan saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya.
The development of e-commerce and PayLater services has been widely used to meet daily living needs, which can lead to impulsive purchases. This study aims to analyze the relationship between recommended product quality and materialism on e-impulse buying. The study used 237 respondents aged 18-42 years who had purchased clothing using Shopee PayLater. The collected data was then processed using the Partial Least Square- Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results of this study show that materialism has a significant influence on e-impulse buying. Meanwhile, recommended product quality does not have a significant influence on e-impulse buying. It is known that customer satisfaction does not mediate the influence of recommended product quality o n e-impulse buying. On the other hand, product image significantly and positively mediates the influence of recommended product quality on e-impulse buying. This study also shows that online review stimuli do not significantly and positively moderate the i nfluence of recommended product quality on e-impulse buying. BNPL use mediates the positive relationship between materialism and e-impulse buying. This study also provides managerial implications and suggestions for future research. "Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Consumer perceived value yaitu nilai utilitarian, nilai hedonis dan conditional value terhadap perilaku pembelian impulsif mereka dalam konteks mobile commerce (m-commerce). Selain itu, kami menguji efek moderasi pengaruh interpersonal pada hubungan antara nilai yang dirasakan pelanggan dan IBB mereka. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan 469 warga negara Indonesia yang memiliki aplikasi Shopee dan melakukan pembelian barang dalam tiga bulan terakhir. Data primer yang terkumpul dalam penelitian ini kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Model berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan m-commrece yaitu portabilitas dan daya tarik visual memiliki pengaruh yang cukup besar pada nilai-nilai yang dirasakan konsumen yaitu nilai utilitarian, nilai hedonis dan conditional value. Bahwa persepsi konsumen baik nilai hedonis dan utilitarian memiliki efek yang signifikan dan langsung pada IBB mereka. Namun conditional value tidak berdampak langsung pada IBB sementara berdampak langsung pada nilai utilitarian dan nilai hedonis lainnya. Selain itu, IBB tidak terpengaruh oleh dampak interaksi nilai hedonis yang dirasakan dan pengaruh interpersonal. Temuan ini menawarkan rekomendasi penting untuk perusahaan m-commerce yang ingin meningkatkan IBB konsumen.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of consumers perceived values that is utilitarian value, hedonic value and conditional value on their impulse buying behavior (IBB) in the context of mobile commerce (m-commerce). Additionally, we examine the moderating effect of interpersonal influence on the association between customers' perceived value and their IBB. This study collected 469 of Indonesian citizen who owns Shopee application and have purchase item(s) in the last three months. The primary data collected in this study then processed using the Structural Equation Model based Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) technique. The findings indicate that environmental cues of m-commerce which is portability and visual appeal have a considerable effect on consumers' perceived values that is utilitarian value, hedonic value and conditional value. That consumers' perceptions of both hedonic and utilitarian value have a significant and direct effect on their IBB. Yet conditional value does not have direct impact on IBB while having direct impact on the other utilitarian value and hedonic value. Additionally, IBB is not affected by the interaction impact of perceived hedonic value and interpersonal influence. The findings offer critical recommendations to m-commerce companies looking to increase consumer IBB."

"Penelitian ini menganalisis perilaku impulse buying konsumen di Internet dengan menggunakan dua faktor pembanding, yaitu jenis kelamin dan self-construal. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 387 pengguna internet yang pernah melakukan pembelian barang di internet, berusia 15-24 tahun, serta tinggal di Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Faktor jenis kelamin digunakan untuk membagi data sampel ke dalam dua kelompok, laki-laki dan perempuan. Faktor self-construal digunakan untuk membagi data sampel ke dalam dua kelompok, independent dan interdependent. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan tipe self-construal yang signifikan pada konsumen online muda di Jakarta yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan, serta tidak terbukti adanya perbedaan perilaku impulse buying di internet pada kelompok self-construal yang berbeda. Namun, didapatkan hasil yang menunjukan bahwa konsumen online muda di Jakarta yang berjenis kelamin perempuan lebih cenderung berperilaku impulse buying di internet daripada konsumen laki-laki.
This study analyze the impulse buying behavior of consumers online by using the comparison of two factors, sex and self-construal. Research conducted on 387 internet users who had been make purchases on the internet, 15-24 years old, and live in Jakarta and surrounding areas. Data were collected through survey method with questionnaire research instrument. Sex factor is used to divide the sample data into two groups, male and female. Self-construal is used to divide the sample data into two groups, independent and interdependent. Results of the analysis showed that there were different types of self-construal significant in young online consumers in jakarta sex male and female, and no evidence of differences in the behavior of impulse buying on the internet in groups of different self-construal. However, the data obtained showed that young online consumers in Jakarta who are female is more likely to behave impulse buying on the internet than male consumers."
