"Integration of immigrants and their descendants has been a socially sensitive and a politically pressing issue in Germany, particularly in recent decades. Being the largest immigrant group in the country, and for a number of other reasons, the spotlight has been on people of Turkish descent. From a sociological perspective, the process of identity formation is a critical step in the direction of integration. If immigrants of Turkish descent are to be integrated in the society, it is crucial to inquire how they conceive of themselves, and perceive how they are conceived by the so-called locals. Heeding Goethe, Ali Mehdi conduct in-depth interviews with seven young men of Turkish descent, born in Germany, and to analyze, utilizing the empathetic approach of the German hermeneutic tradition, the rich diversity of identity strategies that the interviewees employ."

"In her research Yulia Nurliani Lukito analyses modernity and the construction of culture by the authorities using the images of Indonesian vernacular architecture presented at three different sites and times. She argues that modernity is not solely constructed by the authorities, rather it is an ongoing process modified by visitors of exhibitions. Pasar Gambir was a laboratory of modernity for the colony, and an important stage in modernizing and negotiating cultural and social conditions in the colony. The Dutch Pavilion at the 1931 colonial exhibition became a moment when the Indies heritages played a role in marking colonial territory. Modern ethnographic park of Taman Mini gives a way to the making of an official 'authentic' culture and suppresses the previous Dutch construction of the Indies culture. "Skripsi ini mengkaji tentang Program Sosial Bank Indonesia (PSBI) dengan menggunakan pendekatan proses perencanaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang menitikberatkan interpretasi terhadap data yang diperoleh baik data primer berupa wawancara mendalam dan dielaborasi dengan data sekunder seperti dokumen PSBI dan observasi berbagai berita online. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa PSBI merupakan salah satu cara yang digunakan oleh Bank Indonesia untuk membangun. kredibilitas sebagai bank sentral baik pada tingkat nasional maupun internasional.

This study describes about Social Program Bank Indonesia (SPBI), by the planning process approach. This research used qualitative research method that emphasize the interpretation of the data obtained both primary data by means of in-depth interviews and elaborated with secondary datas such as documents of SPBI and observation of various online news. The result of this study shows that SPBI is a mean of Bank Indonesia to build the capability up as a central bank nationally and internationally."
