"Penelitian ini menyelidiki dampak ekonomi dari penutupan prostitusi yang terlokalisasi di tingkat desa dan RW. Meskipun penutupan ini dipicu oleh masalah seperti perdagangan manusia dan kekhawatiran moral, bukti empiris tentang efek ekonomi lokalnya masih jarang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Difference-in Differences dengan penutupan bertahap, hasil menunjukkan bahwa dampak keseluruhan lokalitas di Surabaya tidak signifikan secara statistik. Menariknya, pada fase penutupan 1, lokalitas secara positif dan signifikan memengaruhi aktivitas ekonomi lokal, namun menurun pada fase-fase berikutnya. Selain itu, analisis spasial mengungkapkan hasil yang lebih kuat dan signifikan. Hal ini menekankan konsekuensi ekonomi yang terkait dengan kebijakan lokalitas.

Initiated primarily due to concerns related to human trafficking and moral issues, there is a notable paucity of empirical data regarding the local economic impacts of these closures. Employing a difference-in-differences methodology that accounts for staggered shutdown timelines, the study finds that the overall economic impact of localisations in Surabaya is not statistically significant. However, it is noteworthy that during shutdown phase 1, localisations had a positive and statistically significant effect on local economic activities, a trend which subsided in later phases. "ABSTRAKTujuandariskripsi yang berjudul Prostitusi dan Masyarakat Gang DollySurabaya 1967-1999 adalah mengkaji faktor penyebab munculnya lokalisasi diDolly, serta mengetahui dampak yang ditimbulkan lokalisasi Dolly kepada kehidupanmasyarakat. Alih fungsi pemakaman Cina Putat Jaya pada tahun 1967 mengakibatkanlahan pemakaman tersebut berubah menjadi tempat prostitusi.Metode dan sumber yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metodesejarah, yaitu: melalui tahap heuristik, kritik sumber sehingga didapatkan faktasejarah yang benar-benar mendekati kenyataan peristiwa yang ditulis. Selanjutnyadilakukan tahap interpretasi data, tahap terakhir adalah historiografi. Sumber yangdigunakan penulis dalam penelitian ini berupa sumber arsip, koran dan majalahsejaman, jurnal ilmiah, wawancara, serta buku sebagai sumber pendukung.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa lokalisasi Dolly yang berada ditengah-tengah pemukiman warga, telah menimbulkan banyak dampak bagi kehidupanmasyarakat.Dampak tersebut tidak hanya bersifat negatif, tetapi juga bersifat positifbagi kehidupan masyarakat.Dampak positif terbesar akibat keberadaan lokalisasiDolly adalah tumbuhnya perekonomian mikro di kawasan Gang Dolly dansekitarnya.Kehidupan lokalisasi dan masyarakat sekitar lokalisasi yang selama inidiidentikkan dengan hal negatif, ternyata masih memiliki sisi religius. Sisi religusterlihat dari keberadaan beberapa tempat ibadah di sekitar lokalisasi Gang Dolly,kebiasaan germo yang menutup wisma prostitusinya saat bulan Ramadhan, sertaadanya wisma yang melakukan kegiatan pengajian rutin setiap Kamis malam.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this thesis with the title, Prostitution and the People in GangDolly, Surabaya (1967-199) is to discuss about the factors of the emergence oflocalization in Dolly, and also to know the impact of localization Dolly tocommunities? life. The transformation of the Chinese cemetery Putat Jaya in 1967 hasgiven the impact to that burial ground turned into a place of prostitution.Methods and sources used in this study is the historical method, namely:through the stages of heuristic, criticism of sources to obtain historical facts are reallyclose to the reality of events written. Furthermore, the data interpretation stage, andthe last stage is historiography. Sources used by the author in this study are archivalsources, newspaper and contemporary magazines, interviews, and books as asupportive source.The result of this study indicate that the localization of Dolly which is in themiddle of residential areas, has caused a lot of impacts to people?s lives. The impactis not only negative, but also positive for the community. The biggest positive impactdue to the existence of localization of Dolly is the micro-economic growth in theregion and surrounding of Gang Dolly. Localization and community life aroundlocalization that have been identified with the negative, it still has a religious side.Religious side seen from the presence of several places of worship around the GangDolly area.The pimp/procurer that will close his or her prostitution homestead duringthe month of Ramadhan, as well as the homestead that conduct regular pengajianevery Thursday night."

"ABSTRAKAda insentif yang jelas bagi pelaku pasar untuk memanipulasi harga penutupan karena pentingnya harga penutupan, harga yang paling umum digunakan untuk berbagai tujuan. Dalam rangka memastikan pembentukan harga yang lebih efektif pada harga penutupan saham, pada tanggal 2 Januari 2013, Bursa Efek Indonesia BEI memperkenalkan metode call auction pre-closing pada sesi penutupan pasar saham. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi tersebut terhadap eksistensi manipulasi harga penutupan dengan menggunakan data intraday.Analisis ini berfokus pada 4 bulan sebelum dan 4 bulan setelah diterapkannya pre-closing, yaitu dari bulan September 2012 sampai April 2013. Sampel representatif mencakup 37 saham yang masuk indeks LQ45 untuk keseluruhan periode, yang merupakan saham-saham dengan kapitalisasi pasar terbesar dan paling likuid. Dalam penelitian ini juga dibahas pola intraday yang diuji secara empiris baik sebelum dan sesudah penerapan pre-closing.Analisis data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa 10 menit terakhir perdagangan adalah waktu perdagangan yang paling aktif sepanjang hari. Secara umum dibuktikan bahwa sebelum diterapkannya pre-closing, return 10 menit dari Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan IHSG dan sampel saham meningkat secara dramatis. Dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah abnormal return tersebut terjadi akibat adanya manipulasi harga penutupan atau tidak, penelitian ini menggunakan pengujian model yang dikembangkan oleh Felixson dan Pelli 1999 . Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan adanya manipulasi harga penutupan di pasar saham Indonesia dan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pre-closing telah mengurangi kemungkinan terjadinya manipulasi harga penutupan.

ABSTRACTThere are obvious incentives for market participants to manipulate the closing price due to the significance of the closing price, the price that is most commonly used for many purposes. To ensure more effective price formation at closing price, on January 2, 2013, the Indonesia Stock Exchange IDX introduced a pre closing call auction method to close the stock market. The purpose of this paper is to investigate its effect on closing price manipulation using intraday data.The analysis focuses on 4 months before and 4 months after the introduction of pre closing, which is from September 2012 to April 2013. We use a representative sample which includes 37 stocks that composed the LQ45 stock index, the most liquid and largest market capitalization stocks, for the whole period. In this paper, we discuss some of the empirically observed intraday patterns both before and after the implementation of pre closing.Our data suggest that the last 10 minute of trading is the most active of the whole day. We document that before the introduction of pre closing, the 10 minute returns of both the IDX Composite Index IHSG and our sample stocks increased dramatically. To determine whether or not manipulation of closing prices exists, this study uses a test developed by Felixson and Pelli 1999 . Our results reveal the existence of closing price manipulation in Indonesia stock market and show that the implementation of pre closing has reduced closing price manipulation."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai implikasi konflik antar elit lokal di Surabaya terhadap pelaksanaan penutupan lokalisasi Dolly-Jarak tahun 2014. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan konsep divided government dan unified and consensual elites sebagai kerangka analisis. Pencalonan Tri Rismaharini sebagai calon Walikota yang diusung PDIP pada Pilkada tahun 2010 telah menjadi sumber konflik internal antar elit PDIP Surabaya. Konflik tersebut mengakibatkan munculnya berbagai hambatan yang dihadapi Walikota selama masa pemerintahannya. Penelitian dilakukan melalui metode studi kasus dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara secara mendalam.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Walikota sempat mengalami kesulitan dalam menutup lokalisasi Dolly-Jarak tahun 2014. Namun, penutupan dapat tetap terlaksana karena Walikota dapat memperoleh dukungan di tingkat elit dengan cara melakukan konsolidasi dan konsensus antar elit. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa implikasi konflik antar elit lokal di Surabaya terhadap penutupan lokalisasi Dolly-Jarak dapat tercermin dalam dua kategori perdebatan yang timbul antar elit tersebut. Pertama, perdebatan terkait cara dan waktu pelaksanaan penutupan lokalisasi Dolly-Jarak. Kedua, perdebatan terkait kebijakan pasca penutupan, yakni nominal bantuan dana stimulant, upaya rehabilitasi, dan pembangunan di eks-lokalisasi Dolly-Jarak.

This thesis discusses the implication of local elites conflict towards the closure of Dolly-Jarak localization in 2014. This research applies divided government and unified and consensual elites concept as the analysis framework. The internal conflict of PDIP Surabaya?s elites is initially generated from Tri Rismaharini?s candidacy for Surabaya?s local leaders election in 2010 which is supported by PDIP. The conflict has raised all sorts of disturbances during Tri Rismaharini?s reign as the city?s mayor. This research uses case study method with literature observation study and in depth interview data collection technique.

The result shows that Tri Rismaharini has some difficulties in closing Dolly-Jarak localization in 2014. However, the closure is still executed because of the support from the elites which is gained by consolidation and consensus between elites. It concludes that the implication of local elites conflict towards the closure of Dolly-Jarak localization could be shown through the emergence of debates pertaining to the issue. The debates on the closure of Dolly-Jarak localization could be categorized into two types. First, the debate is about time and method of the Dolly-Jarak localization closure. Second, the debate is about post-closure policy which discusses nominal of the stimulant fund, rehabilitation, and the development of the ex-Dolly-Jarak localization."

"Tesis ini membahas kontruksi realitas sosial penutupan lokalisasi Dolly dan Jarak di Surabaya, melalui program talk show Primetime News di Metro TV, serta peran media massa sebagai ruang publik ideal pada realitas sosial berpotensi konflik tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan paradigma kritis, yang menggunakan metode analisis wacana kritis milik Norman Fairclough. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media membentuk representasi, relasi, dan identitas pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam wacana. Selain itu, pekerja media, rutinitas media, organisasi media, dan extra media menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi kontruksi realitas sosial. Temuan lain adalah adanya pengaruh keberadaan waktu prime time dalam industri televisi, serta munculnya dehumanisasi dalam peliputan terkait prostitusi. Program ini menjadi upaya Metro TV dalam menciptakan ruang publik sebagai media untuk diskursif inklusif, untuk mencegah terjadinya konflik. Meski demikian, faktor ekonomi menjadi penghalang untuk membentuk ruang publik dengan kondisi yang ideal.

This thesis discusses construction of social reality, the closing of localozation "Dolly and Jarak" in Surabaya, through a talk show program "Primetime News" on Metro TV, as well as the role of mass media as an ideal public sphere related to that social reality potential conflict. This study is a qualitative research with a critical paradigm, which uses Norman Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis method.

The results showed that the media shape representations, relationships, and the identity of the parties involved in the discourse. In addition, media workers, media routines, media organizations, and extra-media are the factors that affect the construction of social reality.

Other findings, there is the influence of the existence of a prime time in the television industry, and the emergence of dehumanization in prostitution-related reporting. This program is a Metro TV efforts in creating a public space as a medium for discursive inclusive, to prevent conflict. However, economic factors become a barrier to form a public space with ideal conditions."

Tujuan dari sesi ini adalah untukmengurangi manipulasi harga saham pada saat penutupan dan meningkatkankualitas pasar saham di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penulisan ini untuk mengetahuimengenai dampak dari penerapan pra-penutupan terhadap efisiensi harga danhasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pra-penutupan berdampak positifterhadap efisiensi harga. "Skripsi ini membahas mengenai penutupan sebuah situs file sharing yang kegiatannya melanggar hak cipta di Indonesia. Pertukaran sebuah file yang dilakukan melalui sebuah situs file sharing seringkali melanggar hak cipta yang dimiliki oleh Pencipta/pemegang hak ciptanya. Undang-Undang Nomor 19 Tahun 2002 tentang Hak Cipta dan Undang-Undang Nomor 11 tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik telah memberikan perlindungan terhadap suatu ciptaan yang diumumkan atau diperbanyak melalui internet termasuk melalui situs file sharing. Dengan adanya perlindungan tersebut, maka setiap kegiatan pengumuman atau perbanyakan yang dilakukan melalui sebuah situs file sharing tanpa izin pencipta/pemegang hak cipta dapat dikategorikan sebagai pelanggaran hak cipta. Ketika suatu pelanggaran hak cipta terjadi melalui situs file sharing, maka yang menjadi masalah selanjutnya adalah penutupan situs file sharing tersebut. Undang-Undang Nomor 19 tahun 2002 tentang Hak Cipta belum mengatur secara khusus mengenai penutupan situs file sharing yang melanggar hak cipta, tetapi penutupan situs file sharing tersebut dapat dilakukan berdasarkan ketentuan yang terdapat dalam KUHAP, KUHPerdata, serta kewenangan yang dimiliki oleh Kementrian Komunikasi dan Informatika untuk memblokir situs file sharing.

This thesis discusses the closing of a file sharing site whose activities are infringe the copyright in Indonesia. Exchange of a file that is done through a file sharing sites often violate copyrights owned by the creator / copyright holder. Law Number 19 year 2002 on Copyright and Law Number 11 year 2008 on Information and Electronic Transaction has provided protection for an invention that is published or duplicated through the Internet, including via file sharing sites. With the existence of such protection, then any announcement or the duplication of which is done through a file sharing site without permission of the creator / copyright holder can be categorized as a violation of copyright. When an infringement of copyright occurred via file sharing sites, then the the next issue is the closure of the file sharing sites. Law Number 19 year 2002 on Copyright has not been manage specifically about the closing of file sharing sites that infringe copyright, but the closure of file sharing sites can be carried out under the provisions contained in the Criminal Code (KUHAP), Civil Code (KUHPerdata), as well as the authority possessed by the Ministry of Communication and Information to block file sharing sites."

"Skripsi ini membahas mekanisme yang diterapkan oleh PT Bahana Securities dalam melindungi investornya dari kesalahan (error) dan kecurangan (fraud) pada proses pembukaan rekening, pengkinian data, dan penutupan rekening efek. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif dengan periode penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September hingga November tahun 2015. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa PT Bahana Securities sudah menerapkan prosedur dan sistem pengendalian internal yang benar dengan tingkat pemahaman karyawan bersangkutan yang baik terhadap prosedur dan sistem yang berlaku dalam melindungi investornya dari kesalahan dan kecurangan. Kelemahan dari mekanisme yang diterapkan PT Bahana Securities ada pada kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang melakukan proses pada dokumen investor serta resiko dari pihak ketiga.

This undergraduate thesis discusses the mechanisms applied by Bahana Securities in protecting the investor funds from errors and fraud in the opening, updating and closing account process. This research is qualitative descriptive interpretive with a period of research conducted in September and November 2015. The results of this study indicate that Bahana Securities has already implemented proper procedures and internal control systems to protect investor funds with excellent level of understanding from related employees. The weakness of the mechanisms applied by Bahana Securities is on the minimum amount of human resources to process documents as well as the risk of a third party."

"Kawasan metropolitan Surabaya mengalami suburbanisasi dimana pertumbuhan penduduk yang tinggal di pinggiran Surabaya lebih besar daripada di Kota Surabaya sendiri. Dengan menggunakan metode instrumental variable, studi ini meneliti apakah perkembangan jaringan jalan tol di kawasan metropolitan Surabaya pada periode 2005-2020 dapat mendorong suburbanisasi dan perubahan struktur urban di kawasan tersebut dengan menggunakan data kependudukan (sensus dan registrasi penduduk akhir). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kepadatan penduduk di pusat daerah suburban dan penurunan kepadatan penduduk di Kota Surabaya dan daerah suburban lain sebagai akibat dari peningkatan akses menuju jalan tol terdekat.

Surabaya metropolitan area is experiencing suburbanization when the population growth in Surabaya’s suburb is larger than in the city of Surabaya itself. By using instrumental variable method, this study examines whether the expansion of highway network in Surabaya metropolitan area during 2005-2020 period will encourage suburbanization and change in the urban structure of that area by using population data (population census and final population registration) from 2010 and 2020. The result shows the increase of population density in the center of suburban area and decrease of population density in Surabaya and other suburban area as the result from the nearest highway access improvement."
