"Program magang yang tersedia untuk mahasiswa memberikan berbagai manfaat untuk pengembangan keterampilan dan pengalaman profesional mahasiswa. Namun, mahasiswa juga dihadapkan dengan kesulitan terkait dengan tuntutan pekerjaan yang dapat menyebabkan stres kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara stres kerja dan keterlibatan kerja serta peran moderasi dari perceived social support pada mahasiswa magang. Partisipan berjumlah 107 mahasiswa aktif Universitas Indonesia berusia 18-25 tahun yang sedang melakukan magang. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa 24,6% varians skor keterlibatan kerja dapat dijelaskan oleh stres kerja dan perceived social support secara signifikan (p<0,05). Stres kerja (β=-0,272, t(103)=-3,589, p<0,05) dan perceived social support (β=0,269, t(103)=4,541, p<0,05) berhubungan dengan keterlibatan kerja mahasiswa magang secara signifikan. Hasil analisis moderasi menunjukkan bahwa perceived social support tidak dapat memoderasi hubungan stres kerja dan keterlibatan kerja mahasiswa magang (β=0,0045, t(103)=0,6063, p>0,05).

.The internship programs for university students provide various benefits for skill developments and professional experiences. However, students are also faced with difficulties related to job demands that may cause job stress. This study aimed to examine the relationship between job stress and job involvement and the moderating role of perceived social support in internship students. The 107 participants were active Universitas Indonesia students aged 18-25 years old who were doing internships. This study found that 24.6% of the variance in job involvement scores could be explained by job stress and perceived social support significantly (p<.05). Job stress (β=-.272, t(103)=-3.589, p<.05) and perceived social support (β=.269, t(103)=4.541, p<.05) were significantly associated with interns' job involvement. The moderation analysis results showed that perceived social support could not moderate the relationship between job stress and job involvement of student interns (β=.0045, t(103)=.6063, p>.05)."

"Perusahaan startup saat ini banyak diminati oleh generasi milenial Indonesia. Dibalik sisi positif bekerja di perusahaan startup, juga terdapat dampak negatif yang disebabkan tingginya tekanan kerja dan banyaknya tugas yang mengakibatkan menurunnya kualitas tidur. Memiliki perceived social support yang baik dapat membantu menjaga dampak stres kerja terhadap kualitas tidur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh moderasi perceived social support terhadap hubungan stres kerja dan kualitas tidur pekerja perusahaan startup. Kualitas tidur diukur dengan PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), stres kerja diukur dengan JSS (Job Stress Survey) dan perceived social support diukur dengan MSPSS (Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support). Hasil penelitian menemukan model statistik signifikan (p<0,05) dengan 27,61% skor kualitas tidur dijelaskan oleh stres kerja dan perceived social support. Stres kerja (β=0,1558, t(143), p<0,05) dan perceived social support (β=-0,0800, t(143), p<0,05) mempengaruhi kualitas tidur pekerja perusahaan startup secara signifikan. Namun, Perceived social support tidak dapat memoderatori hubungan stres kerja dan kualitas tidur (β=0,0036, t(143), p>0,05). Terdapat beberapa hal yang dapat menyebabkan penelitian gagal membuktikan hipotesis utama, seperti sistem bekerja di rumah dan stres yang diakibatkan kecemasan saat pandemi

Startup companies currently preferred by Indonesian millennials. Beside all the upsides of working in a startup company, there are also the downsides, such as job stress caused by lot of tasks and working ambiguity which can lead to poor sleep quality. One of the things that can help maintain effect of job stress to sleep quality is perceived social support. This research is aimed to assess the effect of perceived social support moderation to job stress and sleep quality in startup employees. Sleep quality was assessed with PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), job stress was assessed with JSS (Job Stress Survey) and perceived social support was assessed with MSPSS (Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support). This research found a statistically significant model (p<0.05) with sleep quality score of 27,61% explained with job stress and perceived social support. Job stress (β=0,1558, t(143), p<0,05) and perceived social support (β=-0,0800, t(143), p<0,05) affected sleep quality of startup employees significantly. However, perceived social support could not moderate job stress and sleep quality (β=0,0036, t(143), p>0,05). There were few things that made this research fail to prove alternative hypotheses, i.e., work from home system and stress due anxiety during pandemic.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap stres kerja pada mahasiswa magang di Indonesia. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial terhadap stres kerja. Data diperoleh dari 149 partisipan berusia 18–23 tahun yang merupakan mahasiswa dan sedang menjalani kegiatan magang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) untuk variabel dukungan sosial dan Job Stress Scale (JSS) untuk variabel stres kerja. Penyebaran kuesioner dilakukan secara daring menggunakan Google Form. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap stres kerja. Kemudian, dukungan sosial dapat memprediksi varians stres kerja sebesar 13%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi linear berganda, dukungan sosial yang berasal dari teman berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap stres kerja. Akan tetapi, tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial yang berasal dari keluarga dan pasangan romantis terhadap stres kerja. Secara garis besar, hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa dukungan sosial berpengaruh terhadap tingkat stres kerja pada mahasiswa magang. Lebih lanjut, jika dibandingkan antara dukungan sosial dari keluarga, teman, dan pasangan romantis, hanya dukungan sosial dari teman yang berpengaruh terhadap stres kerja mahasiswa magang. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah penambahan pengetahuan terkait kontribusi yang dapat diberikan oleh dukungan sosial terhadap stres kerja.

This research aims to identify the impact of social support on job stress among internship students in Indonesia. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a significant relationship between social support and job stress. Data were obtained from 149 participants aged 18–23 years, who were students and currently undergoing internship activities. The measurement tools used were the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) for the social support variable and the Job Stress Scale (JSS) for the job stress variable. The questionnaire was distributed online using Google Form. The results of simple linear regression analysis indicate that social support has a significant impact on job stress. Social support can predict 13% of the variance in job stress. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, social support from friends significantly influences job stress. However, there is no significant effect of social support from family and romantic partner on job stress. In general, the results of this research prove that social support influences the level of work stress in internship students. Furthermore, when compared between social support from family, friends, and romantic partner, only social support from friends affects work stress among intern students. The implications of this research are the addition of knowledge regarding the contribution that social support can make to job stress."

"Semakin banyak individu yang meneruskan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi dan tentunya memasuki perguruan tinggi memiliki tantangan akademis tersendiri. Tantangan tersebut dapat menjadi sumber distres psikologis yang berpotensi menghambat penyesuaian akademis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran perceived social support pada hubungan antara distres psikologis dan penyesuaian akademis. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa tahun pertama yang memiliki rentang usia 18-22 tahun (N = 414). Analisis moderasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan Hayes' PROCESS. The Kessler 10-item questionnaire (K10), The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), dan Student Adjustment to College Questionairre (SACQ) digunakan untuk mengukur distres psikologis, perceived social support, dan penyesuaian akademis. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa distres psikologis memiliki hubungan negatif yang signifikan dengan penyesuaian akademis. Perceived social support dari teman ditemukan memoderasi hubungan antara distres psikologis dan penyesuaian akademis namun hal yang sama tidak ditemukan pada perceived social support dari keluarga dan significant others. Dengan demikian, membangun jaringan sosial dengan teman di perguruan tinggi dapat meningkatkan penyesuaian akademis mahasiswa baru.

Pursuing a higher education becomes increasingly popular however, entering university comes with its own academic challenges which can be a source of psychological distress that can potentially hinder students academic adjustment. This study aims to examine the role of perceived social support in moderating the relationship between psychological distress and academic adjustment. The respondents of this study are 414 first-year college students between the ages of 18 to 22 year old. To examine the moderating role of perceived social support, Hayes' PROCESS was used. The Kessler-10 Item Questionnaire (K10), The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), and Student Adjustment to College Questionnaire (SACQ) were used to measure psychological distress, perceived social support, and academic adjustment respectively. The results of this study show that psychological distress has a significant correlation with academic adjustment. Moreover, overall perceived social support does not moderate the relationship between the two variables. Conversely, perceived friends support is found to moderate the relationship between psychological distress and academic adjustment however, the same result was not found for perceived family and significant others support. The results imply that building peer network in university holds a significant role in first-year students' academic adjustment.

"Penelitian terdahulu menyarankan perlunya mendalami sumber daya personal
(personal resource) dalam mempelajari hubungan antara tuntutan pekerjaan dan
stres kerja. Berdasarkan saran tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
menginvestigasi persepsi sisa waktu, salah satu sumber daya personal pekerja di
organisasi, sebagai moderator pada hubungan antara tuntutan pekerjaan dan stres
kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Conservation of Resources (COR theory)
sebagai kerangka teori untuk menjelaskan efek moderasi oleh persepsi sisa waktu.
Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan survei online pada pegawai negeri sipil dari
32 instansi pemerintahan di Indonesia (N=220). Data diolah dengan menggunakan
aplikasi PROCESS Hayes macro versi 3.3 di SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa persepsi sisa waktu memoderasi hubungan antara tuntutan pekerjaan dan
stres kerja, di mana hubungan tersebut menjadi positif dan meningkat ketika
persepsi sisa waktu rendah dibandingkan ketika persepsi sisa waktu tinggi.
Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa persepsi sisa waktu dapat melemahkan
hubungan positif antara tuntutan pekerjaan dengan stres kerja. Implikasi teori dan
praktis akan dibahas lebih jauh pada tulisan ini

Previous studies suggested to examine personal resources in the relationship
between job demand and job stress. This study aims to investigate the moderating
effect of perceived remaining time in the organization on the relationship between
job demand and job stress. Drawing on the Conservation of Resources (COR)
theory to explain the moderation effect, it is argued that the relationship between
job demand and job stress is weakened by perceived remaining time. Data were
collected using online survey on public sector employees from thirty-two
government institutions in Indonesia (N = 220). Data were analyzed using Hayes’
PROCESS macro version 3.3 on SPSS software. Results showed that perceived
remaining time moderated the relationship between job demand and job stress, such
that the relationship was positive and higher when perceived remaining time was
low than when perceived remaining time was high. In other words, perceived
remaining time dampens the positive relation between job demand and job stress.
Theoretical and practical implications are further discussed

"Hubungan sosial di tempat kerja adalah hal yang vital untuk kesejahteraan karyawan. Pengaturan kerja pada karyawan memiliki potensi untuk memengaruhi dinamika hubungan sosial karyawan. Hubungan sosial karyawan di berhubungan dengan kesejahteraan karyawan. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran moderasi dari variabel persepsi dukungan sosial pada hubungan kesepian di tempat kerja dengan kelalahan emosional pada karyawan di Indonesia yang mempunyai pengaturan kerja yang beragam akibat dari adanya pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non-eksperimental dengan metode survei menggunakan alat ukur adaptasi dari MBI-GS oleh Schaufeli, Maslach, Leiter, & Jackson (1981) untuk mengukur kelelahan emosional, alat ukur adaptasi WDQ oleh Morgenson & Humprey (2006) untuk mengukur persepsi dukungan sosial, dan alat ukur adaptasi LAWS oleh Wright, Burt, & Strongman (2006) untuk mengukur kesepian di tempat kerja. Hasil uji hipotesis melalui analisis regresi menggunakan PROCESS Model by Hayes di software SPSS pada 201 karyawan dari berbagai organisasi di Indonesia yang menjadi partisipan, menghasilkan temuan utama penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dukungan sosial memainkan peran moderasi yang signifikan dalam hubungan antara kesepian di tempat kerja dan kelelahan emosional. Implikasinya menekankan perlunya perhatian terhadap aspek dukungan sosial dalam lingkungan kerja untuk mengurangi kesepian untuk bisa melindungi karyawan dari kelelahan emosional terutama dalam era kerja yang terus berubah dan bervariasi.

Social relationships in the workplace are vital to employee well-being. Employees' work arrangements have the potential to influence the dynamics of employees' social relationships. Employee social relations are related to employee welfare. This research explores the moderating role of the variable perceived social support on the relationship between loneliness at work and emotional exhaustion in employees in Indonesia who have diverse work arrangements as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a non-experimental study with a survey method using the MBI-GS adaptation measuring instrument by Schaufeli, Maslach, Leiter, & Jackson (1981) to measure emotional exhaustion, the WDQ adaptation measuring instrument by Morgenson & Humphrey (2006) to measure perceptions of support social, and the LAWS adaptation measuring tool by Wright, Burt, & Strongman (2006) to measure loneliness in the workplace. The results of hypothesis testing through regression analysis using the PROCESS Model by Hayes in SPSS software on 201 employees from various organizations in Indonesia who were participants, produced the main research findings showing that perceived social support plays a significant moderating role in the relationship between loneliness at work and emotional exhaustion. The implications emphasize the need to pay attention to aspects of social support in the work environment to reduce loneliness in order to protect employees from emotional exhaustion, especially in an era of work that continues to change and vary."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mediasi dari job insecurity terhadap hubungan antara perceived organizational support dan in-role performance. Menggunakan teori psychological safety sebagai pedoman, individu yang menilai positif perlakuan dari perusahaan akan merasa aman dan keberlangsungannya di perusahaan terjamin, sehingga akan meningkatkan kinerjanya di perusahaan. Data diperoleh dari karyawan di Jabodetabek N= 269, dan dianalisis menggunakan macro Hayes PROCESS, pada SPSS v20. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat efek tidak langsung yang signifikan dari POS pada in-role performance melalui job insecurity. Implikasi secara teoretis dan praktis akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini.

This study aims to investigate the mediating effect of job insecurity on the relationship between perceived organizational support and in role performance. Drawing from psychological safety theory, perceived organizational support would affect individuals rsquo feeling that they could secure their job, and this would lead to high in role performance. Data were collected among employess from Jabodetabek N 269, and analyzed using the Hayes PROCESS macro on SPSS v20. The result showed that job insecurity mediated the relationship between POS and in role performance, as the indirect effect of POS on in role performance via job insecurity was found significant. Theoretical and pracyical implications were discussed.

"Distres psikologis pada tahun pertama dapat memengaruhi terbentuknya tingkah laku bermasalah dan menurunnya performa akademik. Salah satu hal yang memengaruhi distres psikologis adalah body image dissatisfaction. Tahun pertama dalam perkuliahan merupakan masa dimana mahasiswi mengalami perubahan besar dalam pola makan dan body image dissatisfaction. Perceived social support memiliki peran buffering yang dapat melindungi individu dari dampak body image dissatisfaction terhadap distres psikologis. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat peran perceived social support terhadap hubungan antara body image dissatisfaction dan distres psikologis. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswi yang sedang berada di tahun pertama antara usia 18-21 tahun (N = 319). Setelah memperoleh data, peneliti melakukan analisis moderasi menggunakan PROCESS dari Hayes. The Kessler 10-item questionnaire (K10) digunakan untuk mengukur distres psikologis, The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) digunakan untuk mengukur perceived social support, dan Appearance Evaluation (AE) serta Body Areas Satisfaction Scale (BASS) digunakan untuk mengukur body image dissatisfaction. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswi tahun pertama cenderung puas dengan tubuhnya dan memiliki perceived social support serta distres psikologis yang sedang hingga tinggi. Lalu, ditemukan bahwa body image dissatisfaction memiliki hubungan yang lemah dan signifikan dengan distres psikologis, namun perceived social support tidak memoderasi hubungan di antara keduanya.

Psychological distress in the first year of university can influence the formation of problematic behaviors and decreased academic performance. Body image dissatisfaction affects psychological distress. First year in university is a time when students experience major changes in eating patterns and body image dissatisfaction. Perceived social support has a buffering role that can protect individuals from the impact of body image dissatisfaction on psychological distress. This study aims to examine the role of perceived social support in moderating the relationship between body image dissatisfaction and psychological distress. 319 first-year female college students between the age of 18-21 were involved. To measure psychological distress, The Kessler-10 Item Questionnaire was used (K10), The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) was used to measure perceived social support, and to measure body image dissatisfaction, Appearance Evaluation AE and Body Areas Satisfaction Scale (BASS) were used. The result of this study showed that first year female students tend to be satisfied with their bodies and have moderate to high levels of perceived social support and psychological distress. This study also showed that body image dissatisfaction has an association with psychological distress, but perceived social support does not moderate the relationship between the two.

"Software engineer tengah dibutuhkan karena semakin maraknya transformasi digital. Software engineer menghadapi tuntutan kerja kognitif dan kuantitatif yang tinggi dan hal tersebut dapat menurunkan keterlibatan kerja. Keterlibatan kerja penting bagi software engineer karena diperlukannya produktivitas untuk memenuhi target kerja yang tinggi. Dukungan sosial dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan kerja, tetapi terdapat inkonsistensi mengenai dampak langsung dukungan sosial terhadap keterlibatan kerja. Penelitian ini kemudian mengajukan kerja sebagai mediator. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan keterlibatan kerja serta peran mediasi kreasi kerja dalam hubungan antara keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe kuantitatif, desain cross-sectional, dan strategi korelasional. Partisipan adalah 113 software engineer yang telah bekerja minimal satu tahun di perusahaan saat ini. Ditemukan hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dan keterlibatan kerja dan kreasi kerja memediasi penuh hubungan antara keduanya. Hasil mengimplikasikan bahwa kreasi kerja berperan penting dalam peningkatan keterlibatan kerja dan kreasi kerja dapat ditingkatkan dengan dukungan sosial.

Software engineers are pivotal in the era of Indonesia’s digital transformation. They face high quantitative and cognitive demands, which may lower work engagement. Work engagement is essential for software engineers to improve productivity and meet their work targets. Work engagement can be increased with social support. This study presents job crafting as a mediator due to the inconsistency regarding the direct effect of social support on work engagement. This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and work engagement and the mediating role of job crafting. This study is quantitative with a correlational strategy and cross-sectional design. Participants were 113 software engineers with at least one year of experience in their current organization. Social support positively and significantly relates to work engagement, and job crafting fully mediates the relationship. The result implies that job crafting is crucial in increasing work engagement and can be enhanced by social support."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara distres psikologis dan perceived social support pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1024 mahasiswa di Indonesia usia 18-25 tahun yang terdiri dari 727 orang perempuan 71 dan 297 orang laki-laki 29 . Distres psikologis diukur menggunakan Hopkins Symptom Checklist ndash; 25 HSCL-25 dan perceived social support diukur menggunakan Social Provisions Scale SPS .
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang negatif dan signifikan antara distres psikologis dan perceived social support pada mahasiswa r = -0,270, p = 0,000, signifikan pada LoS 0,01 . Artinya, semakin tinggi distres psikologis pada mahasiswa, semakin rendah perceived social support yang dimilikinya.
