"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh job demand dan polychronicity terhadap burnout yang dimediasi oleh multitasking pada pekerja periklanan di wilayah Jabodetabek. Terdapat tujuh hipotesis yang dirumuskan dalam studi ini. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari 209 responden yang bekerja di agensi periklanan di Jabodetabek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job demand memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap multitasking dan burnout pada pekerja agensi periklanan di Jabodetabek. Selain itu, polychronicity juga memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap multitasking dan burnout pada pekerja agensi periklanan di wilayah tersebut. Lebih lanjut, variabel multitasking diketahui memediasi hubungan antara job demand dan polychronicity terhadap burnout pada pekerja agensi periklanan di Jabodetabek. Kesimpulannya, penting bagi perusahaan untuk memperhatikan tingkat job demand dan polychronicity dari pekerja mereka, terutama di agensi periklanan di Jabodetabek, untuk mengendalikan tingkat multitasking dan burnout pekerja.

This research aims to evaluate the influence of job demand and polychronicity on burnout mediated by multitasking in advertising workers in the Jabodetabek area. There are seven hypotheses formulated in this study. Using a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, this research collected data from 209 respondents who worked at advertising agencies in Jabodetabek. The research results show that job demand has a significant positive influence on multitasking and burnout in advertising agency workers in Jabodetabek. Apart from that, polychronicity also has a significant positive influence on multitasking and burnout in advertising agency workers in the region. Furthermore, the multitasking variable is known to mediate the relationship between job demand and polychronicity on burnout among advertising agency workers in Jabodetabek. In conclusion, it is important for companies to pay attention to the level of job demand and polychronicity of their employees, especially in advertising agencies in Jabodetabek, to control the level of employee multitasking and burnout."

"Skripsi ini membahas gambaran faktor organisasional penyebab burnout pada pekerja garis depan di Puskesmas. Peneltian dilaksanakan di Puskesmas X diwilayah Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya beberapa faktor organisional penyebab burnout ditemukan diantara pekerja garis depan di Puskesmas X. Namun, apabila tindakan preventif tidak segera dilaksanakan, faktor-faktor organisasional yang lain akan berkembang dan menghambat kemampuan puskesmas dalam memberikan layanan-layanan kesehatan.

This undergraduate thesis discusses an overview of organizational factors as the cause of burnouts to front-line workers at primary health center. This research is conducted at a primary health center located in Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive design. The results of this study shows only a few of these factors have been found among front-line workers. However, if preventive measures aren’t implemented, other factors will grow and hinder public health center’s ability to provide healthcare services."

"Tesis ini membahas tentang fenomena burnout  dan aliensi dari petugas pelayanan dan rehabilitasi sosial di Balai Besar Rehabilitasi Badan Narkotika Nasional, yang berada di KEcamatan Cigombong, Lido, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Fenomena burnout dan aliensi yang dilihat adalah selama mereka menjadi staf. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa Balai Besar Rehabilitasi BNN manajemen waktu kerja yang fleksibel, supervisi yang tepat dan berkala, melakukan upaya pengembangan profesi pekerjaan sosial di bidang rehabilitasi bagi pecandu, penyalahguna, dan korban penyalahguna narkoba. Selain itu, dalam upaya meminimalisir terjadinya burnout dan alienasi dari petugas, perlu dikembangkan standar etika dan profesi pekerjaan sosial di bidang rehabilitasi adiksi narkoba, peningkatan kesejahteraan yang tidak hanya bersifat material saja, serta memberikan dukungan kepada para pegawai recovering addict yang sedang dalam proses pemulihan (recovery)

This thesis discusses the phenomenon of burnout and alienation from social services of social rehabilitation officer at the Center for Rehabilitation of the National Narcotics Agency, which is located in District Cigombong, Lido, Bogor, West Java. The phenomenon of burnout and alienation which seen was that happens to those who are assigned as a staff. This study is a qualitative research with descriptive design. Results of the study suggest that BNN Rehabilitation Center should provide flexible working time management, proper and periodic supervision, develop the social work profession in the field of rehabilitation for addicts, abusers, and victims of drug abusers. Additionally, in an effort to minimize the occurrence of burnout and alienation, BNN Rehabilitation Center should needs to be developed ethical standards and the social work profession in the field of drug addiction rehabilitation, improvement of well-being that is not merely material, as well as providing support to employees recovering addict who is in the process of recovery.

"Pandemi Covid-19 telah menyebar secara global, sistem pelayanan kesehatan dihadapkan pada tantangan besar dan perawat sebagai garda terdepan dalam penanganan Covid-19 berisiko mengalami burnout. Burnout adalah kelelahan fisik, kelelahan emosional, dan kelelahan mental yang disebabkan oleh stres yang berkepanjangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan burnout pada perawat selama masa pandemi covid-19 di RS X Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitaif dengan desain cross-sectional dan dilakukan pada 12 Juli - 20 Juli 2022. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 171 perawat pelaksana yang bekerja di Ruang Rawat Inap RS X Kota Bogor. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS) dan analisis data menggunakan uji statistik chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 43,9% perawat mengalami burnout rendah dan 56,1 perawat mengalami burnout sedang. Variabel yang berhubungan dengan burnout yaitu jenis kelamin (p=0,037), stres kerja (p=0,000), beban kerja (p=0,036), dan kondisi kerja (p=0,003), sedangkan umur (p=0.490), pendidikan (p=0,170), lama bekerja (p=0,356), status pernikahan (p=0,751), dan dukungan sosial (p=0,408) tidak berhubungan dengan burnout. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah perawat mengalami burnout rendah dan sedang sehingga diperlukan upaya preventif untuk mengurangi risiko burnout pada perawat.

The Covid-19 has spread globally and healthcare system faced major challenges in terms of human resources. Nurses, as the front line of handling Covid-19 are at risk of having burnout. Burnout is defined as physical exhaustion, emotional exhaustion, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged stress. This study aims to determine factors that potentially associated with burnout in nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic at RS X Bogor City. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design and was conducted in 12 July – 20 July 2022. The sample in this study was 171 nurses who worked in the Inpatient Room of RS X Bogor City. Data collection using the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS) questionnaire and data analysis using the chi-square statistical test. The results showed that 43.9% of nurses experienced low burnout and 56.1% nurses experienced moderate burnout. Variables related to burnout were gender (p=0.037), work stress (p=0.000), workload (p=0.036), and working conditions (p=0.003), while age (p=0.490), education (p=0.170), length of work (p=0.356), marital status (p=0.751), and social support (p=0.408) were not associated with burnout. In conclusion, preventive efforts are required to handling the burnout risks, particularly for nurses with low and moderate burnout’s level."

"Turnover masih menjadi permasalahan utama bagi setiap perusahaan. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan hal tersebut salah satunya kualitas pekerjaan yang buruk serta kelelahan emosional yang dialami para karyawan. Sehingga secara tidak langsung kepuasan kerja karyawan menjadi terpengaruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari perceived job quality dan burnout terhadap intention to stay yang dimana hubungannya akan dimediasi oleh job satisfaction dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data penelitian diperoleh dari 382 karyawan perusahaan yang berdomisili di Indonesia melalui kuesioner yang disebar secara daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived job quality memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap intention to stay, sedangkan burnout memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap intention to stay. Selain itu dikarenakan terdapat hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung yang berasal dari perceived job quality dan burnout terhadap intention to stay, ditemukan bahwa job satisfaction dapat memediasi hubungan dari ketiga variabel tersebut.

Turnover is still a major problem for every company. Many factors can cause it, one of which is poor work quality and emotional exhaustion experienced by employees. So indirectly, employee job satisfaction is affected. This study aims to determine the effect of perceived job quality and burnout on intention to stay in which the relationship will be mediated by job satisfaction using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. Research data were obtained from 382 company employees who are domiciled in Indonesia through a questionnaire distributed online. The results showed that perceived job quality has a positive effect on intention to stay, while burnout has a negative effect on intention to stay. In addition, because there are direct and indirect relationships that originate from perceived job quality and burnout to intention to stay, it was found that job satisfaction can mediate the relationships of these three variables."

"Penelitian ini secara garis besar dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perceived supervisor support dan self-efficacy terhadap turnover intention pekerja Gen Y dan Gen Z di Jabodetabek dengan peran mediasi burnout. Terdapat 6 hipotesis yang peneliti rancang pada penelitian ini. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan structural equation modelling (SEM), beberapa temuan dihasilkan dari data yang telah terkumpul dari 207 responden pekerja Gen Y dan Gen Z di Jabodetabek. Temuan atau hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perceived supervisor support memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan negatif terhadap burnout dan turnover intention pekerja Gen Y dan Gen Z di Jabodetabek. Kemudian, self-efficacy juga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan negatif terhadap burnout dan turnover intention pekerja Gen Y dan Gen Z di Jabodetabek. Ditambah dengan adanya variabel burnout memediasi hubungan antara perceived supervisor support dan self-efficacy terhadap turnover intention pekerja Gen Y dan Gen Z di Jabodetabek, semakin tinggi perceived supervisor support dan self-efficacy yang dimiliki karyawan Gen Y dan Gen Z di Jabodetabek, maka semakin rendah perasaan burnout dan turnover intention yang dialami oleh karyawan Gen Y dan Gen Z di Jabodetabek. Kesimpulannya, penting untuk perusahaan memperhatikan perceived supervisor support dan self-efficacy dari karyawannya khususnya Gen Y dan Gen Z di Jabodetabek untuk menurunkan tingkat burnout dan turnover intention karyawannya.

This research was conducted to determine the effect of perceived supervisor support and self- efficacy on the turnover intention of Gen Y and Gen Z workers in Jabodetabek with the role of mediating burnout. Using a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach, several findings were generated from data collected from 207 Gen Y and Gen Z worker respondents in Greater Jakarta. The findings in this study indicate that perceived supervisor support has a significant negative effect on burnout and turnover intention of Gen Y and Gen Z workers in Jabodetabek. Then, self-efficacy also has a significant negative effect on burnout and turnover intention of Gen Y and Gen Z workers in Jabodetabek. Coupled with the presence of the burnout variable mediating the relationship between perceived supervisor support and self-efficacy on the turnover intention of Gen Y and Gen Z workers in Jabodetabek. Thus, the higher the perceived supervisor support and self-efficacy of Gen Y and Gen Z employees in Jabodetabek, the lower feelings of burnout and turnover intention experienced by Gen Y and Gen Z employees in Jabodetabek. In conclusion, it is important for companies to pay attention to the perceived supervisor support and self-efficacy of their employees, especially Gen Y and Gen Z in Jabodetabek to reduce the burnout rate and turnover intention of their employees."

"Berdasarkan data dari Rumah Sakit yang beroperasi di Riau, didapatkan bahwa perawat kontrak memiliki Job Performance yang rendah. Selain itu, penelitian memberikan informasi bahwa Subjective Well-being perawat memiliki skor yang rendah. Dalam hal ini, terdapat kemungkinan bahwa Job Insecurity dan Burnout yang dialami oleh Perawat Kontrak merupakan penyebabnya didukung oleh beberapa penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membahas pengaruh Job Insecurity dan Burnout terhadap Subjective Well-being dan Job Performance pada Perawat Kontrak di Rumah Sakit dengan menggunakan variabel moderasi berupa Psychological Capital karena mengacu pada penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya yang menyebutkan bahwa Psychological Capital mampu mengurangi Job Insecurity yang diterima dan juga akan berpengaruh pada penurunan Burnout. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian berupa perawat kontrak yang bekerja di Rumah Sakit yang beroperasi Riau. Analisis data melibatkan uji reliabilitas, uji validitas, uji deskriptif, dan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Job Insecurity dan Burnout terbukti berpengaruh secara negatif signifikan terhadap Job Performance dengan cara menurunkan Subjective Well-being dari Perawat kontrak. Selain itu, dimensi-dimensi dari variabel Psychological Capital seperti Hope dan Resilience diketahui mampu menurunkan dampak negatif yang di sebabkan oleh Job Insecurity dan Burnout terhadap Subjective Well-being dan Job Performance perawat kontrak. Dilain sisi dimensi Self-efficacy hanya mampu menurunkan dampak negatif dari Burnout terhadap variabel lainnya sedangkan Optimism hanya mampu menurunkan dampak negatif Job Insecurity terhadap variabel lainnya.

Based on data from hospitals operating in Riau, it was found that contract nurses have low Job Performance. In addition, research provides information that nurses' Subjective Well-being has a low score. In this case, there is a possibility that Job Insecurity and Burnout experienced by Contract Nurses is the cause supported by several previous studies. This research was conducted to discuss the effect of Job Insecurity and Burnout on Subjective Well-being and Job Performance in Contract Nurses at Hospitals by using a moderating variable in the form of Psychological Capital because it refers to previous studies which stated that Psychological Capital is able to reduce Job Insecurity received and will also affect the decrease in Burnout. This research will be conducted using a quantitative approach with research samples in the form of contract nurses who work in hospitals operating in Riau. Data analysis involved reliability tests, validity tests, descriptive tests, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS software. The results showed that Job Insecurity and Burnout proved to have a significant negative effect on Job Performance by reducing the Subjective Well-being of contract nurses. In addition, the dimensions of the Psychological Capital variables such as Hope and Resilience are known to be able to reduce the negative impact caused by Job Insecurity and Burnout on Subjective Well-being and Job Performance of contract nurses. On the other hand, the Self-efficacy dimension is only able to reduce the negative impact of Burnout on other variables, while Optimism is only able to reduce the negative impact of Job Insecurity on other variables.

"Komunikasi keselamatan dengan atasan merupakan hal yang penting untuk dilakukan oleh awak kabin. Hal tersebut dapat mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan, mempengaruhi kesetiaan penumpang, dan keuntungan maskapai. Akan tetapi, komunikasi keselamatan dengan atasan rentan untuk dikompromikan karena tingginya tuntutan kerja kuantitatif dapat membuat mereka mengalami kelelahan mental, sehingga performa kerjanya pun menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran kelelahan mental sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara tuntutan kerja kuantitatif dan komunikasi keselamatan dengan atasan. Tipe dan desain penelitian adalah korelasional dan cross-sectional. Partisipan dari penelitian ini adalah awak kabin yang bekerja minimal setahun di maskapai penerbangan Indonesia (N = 45) yang direkrut dengan teknik convenience dan snowball sampling. Alat ukur Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ) dimensi quantitative demand digunakan untuk mengukur tuntutan kerja kuantitatif, Oldenburg Burnout Inventory (OLBI) untuk mengukur kelelahan mental, dan Safety Behavior dimensi upward safety communication untuk mengukur komunikasi keselamatan dengan atasan. Melalui analisis regresi ditemukan bahwa kelelahan mental memediasi secara penuh hubungan antara tuntutan kerja kuantitatif dan komunikasi keselamatan dengan atasan (ab = -0,37, p <0.05). Untuk mengembangkan penelitian ini disarankan untuk memperbanyak partisipan dan mempertimbangkan karakteristik serta dinamika pekerjaan awak kabin, seperti jabatan, jenis penerbangan, dan durasi penerbangan.

Upward safety communication is important for cabin crew to do, as it could prevent accidents, affect passengers loyalty, and airlines profits. However, upward safety communication could be compromised because of the high quantitative demands on their field, which can make them experience burnout. This correlational and cross-sectional study aims to look at the role of burnout as a mediator in the relationship between quantitative demands and upward safety communication. The participants of this study are cabin crew who worked minimum of a year in Indonesian airlines (N = 45). They were recruited by convenience and snowball sampling techniques. Researcher used the quantitative demands dimension from Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ) to measure quantitative demands, Oldenburg Burnout Inventory (OLBI) to measure burnout, and the upward safety dimension from Safety Behavior to measure upward safety communication. This study shows that burnout fully mediated the relationship between quantitative demands and upward safety communication (ab = -0,37, p <0.05). To develop this research, it is recommended to recruit more participants and consider the characteristics and dynamics of cabin crews job, such as their rank, flight type, and duration."
