"Femvertising oleh SheKnows Media (2014) adalah salah satu konsep iklan modern yang mengangkat isu tentang pemberdayaan perempuan. Dengan memanfaatkan pesan emosional, femvertising dapat meraih keterlibatan khalayak yang tinggi terutama pada khalayak perempuan. Dove merupakan salah satu brand kecantikan dan perawatan diri yang menerapkan konsep periklanan femvertising pada setiap kampanye mereka. Riset ini menganalisis bagaimana konten femvertising Dove berdasarkan 5 (lima) pilar femvertising dari Becker-herby (2016) yaitu penggunaan beragam talent perempuan, pesan pro-perempuan, menantang stereotip perempuan ‘ideal’, tidak bersifat sensual dan menampilkan perempuan secara otentik. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis konten dengan berfokus pada konten femvertising Dove yang diunggah di Instagram mereka pada periode Oktober 2021 - Oktober 2022. Temuan riset ini menunjukkan bahwa kelima pilar femvertising hadir pada semua kampanye femvertising Dove, dengan penekanan yang berbeda-beda pada tiap jenis kampanye. Secara umum pilar yang paling dominan adalah pesan pro-perempuan dan menampilkan perempuan secara otentik.

Femvertising by SheKnows Media (2014) is one of the modern advertising concepts that raises the issue of women's empowerment. By utilizing emotional messages, femvertising can achieve high audience engagement, especially in female audiences. Dove is a beauty and self-care brand that applies the concept of femvertising to each campaign. This research analyzes how Dove's femvertising content based on the 5 (five) pillars of femvertising from Becker- herby (2016), namely utilization of diverse female talents, pro-female messages, challenging the stereotype of 'ideal' women, not sensual, and presenting women authentically. The method used is content analysis by focusing on Dove's femvertising content uploaded on their Instagram from October 2021 - October 2022. The findings of this research show that the five pillars of femvertising are present in all of Dove's femvertising campaigns, with different emphases on each type of campaign. In general, the most dominant pillar is a pro-woman message and presenting women in an authentic way."
