"Persepsi dapat dipengaruhi oleh banyak hal seperti pengetahuan, pengalaman dan lain-lain. Mahasiswa Rumpun Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Indonesia mendapatkan pengetahuan dan informasi mengenai pertolongan pertama dari mata kuliah di kampus, organisasi kegawatdaruratan, maupun dari luar kampus. Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pertolongan pertama dapat dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa Rumpun Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Indonesia terhadap pertolongan pertama. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif sederhana, menggunakan sampel mahasiswa Rumpun Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Indonesia sebanyak 295 responden yang dipilih menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang dikembangkan sendiri untuk mengetahui persepsi terhadap pertolongan pertama. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 52,46% mahasiswa Rumpun Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Indonesia memiliki persepsi positif terhadap pertolongan pertama. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat meneliti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi terhadap pertolongan pertama.

Perception affected by many factors such as knowledge, experience, and many more. Students in faculty of health science Universitas Indonesia had knowledge and information about first aid from many sources. Perception about first aid can be affected by knowledge. This study aimed to describe Students Perception Regarding First Aid in Faculty of Health Science Universitas Indonesia.

This study used quantitative descriptive design, with 295 students of health sciences at University of Indonesia as respondents, samples were selected by proportional stratified random sampling. The instrument used in this study is self-developed questionnaire to determine perception regarding first aid. The results show 52,46% students have positive perception regarding first aid. This research recommends to conduct a study about factors that correlate with perception regarding first aid."
