"ABSTRACT
Nowadays, either keeping or throwing out the final product of dental cast is the most common thing to do. The waste from dentistry can be considered toxic if not handled specifically and separately to other waste. Hence, recycling process can reduce its effect and the waste of dental casts. The aim of this research is to reuse the dental gypsum either for practical use or health facilities. This research studies, the behavior of before after recycle and heat treatment to several grades of dental gypsum that will be used as impression material or dies. As it rsquo s designed to be an impression material that will undergo heat treatment, Simultaneous Thermogravimetry and Differential Scanning Calorimetry TGA DSC will be applied to understand the Phase Transformation to its mass change and the behavior to a temperature difference. The result will be validated using an experimental approach. X ray Diffraction XRD and Scanning Electron Microscope will also be done to identify the crystalline phases and the surface microstructure, it will be validated using an experimental approach as well. A range of gap between parameter values is expected between the fresh new dental gypsum and the recycled one. However, it is expected some similar values between the heat treated and the fresh new dental gypsum.

ABSTRACT
Dewasa ini, baik menyimpan atau membuang produk akhir dari gips gigi adalah hal yang paling umum untuk dilakukan. Limbah dari kedokteran gigi dapat dianggap beracun jika tidak ditangani secara khusus dan terpisah dengan limbah lainnya. Oleh karena itu, proses daur ulang dapat mengurangi efek dan limbah gips gigi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggunakan kembali gipsum gigi baik untuk penggunaan praktik atau fasilitas kesehatan. Penelitian ini mempelajari, perilaku sebelum-sesudah mendaur ulang dan perlakuan panas ke beberapa tipe gipsum gigi yang akan digunakan sebagai bahan impresi atau cetakan. Karena dirancang untuk menjadi material impresi yang akan menjalani perlakuan panas, Simultaneous Thermogravimetry dan Differential Scanning Calorimetry TGA-DSC akan diterapkan untuk memahami transformasi fase untuk perubahan massa dan perilaku terhadap perbedaan suhu. Hasilnya akan divalidasi menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental. X-ray Diffraction XRD dan Scanning Electron Microscope SEM juga akan dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi fase kristal dan mikro struktur permukaan, perihal tersebut akan divalidasi menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental. Keberadaan renggang antara nilai-nilai parameter diharapkan antara gipsum gigi segar / baru dan yang didaur ulang. Namun, diharapkan beberapa nilai serupa antara perlakuan panas dan gipsum gigi baru / segar."

"Advances in modern dental materials provide patients and practitioners a number of choices from which to create a pleasing and natural looking restoration. This report outlines important features of many of the most popular direct restoratives, with an emphasis on safety and efficacy of each material. The article aims to help dentists to explaim their patients the relative and conservative impact of various materials used in dental restoration. On the basis of current knowledge from laboratory and clinical studies, the alternatives discussed in this report, when properly applied, can provide the patient with a safe and effective treatment in the repair of decayed teeth."

"Experimental studies have shown that dental pulp tissue has potential to regenerate dentine in response to adverse
stimuli, such as caries and associated operative procedures. However, the potential of dental pulp regeneration seems to
be limited by regenerative capacity of the cell involved. In this study, we report the effect of transfection of a
recombinant plasmid containing human BMP-2 gene in proliferation and differentiation of dental pulp tissue in vitro.
The regenerative capacity was analyzed by ALP production and calcium content. Results showed that the transfected
dental pulp cell was able to differentiate into the odontoblast phenotype, indicating the presence of odontoblast
progentitor cells in dental pulp tissue."

"Salah satu bahan dasar dari material cetak alginat adalah natrium alginat. Natrium alginat eksperimen dibuat dari ekstraksi rumput laut coklat Sargassum sp. menggunakan perendaman dalam kondisi asam. Hasil natrium alginat diuji kemurnian dan viskositasnya. Natrium Alginat eksperimen dalam penelitian ini memiliki sifat kemurnian yang sesuai dengan bubuk natrium alginat standar dari SIGMA A2158 setelah dilakukan pengujian menggunakan high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Dengan uji viskositas Brookefield, natrium alginat ini memiliki viskositas yang rendah sebesar 45,3 mPas sehingga belum sesuai sebagai bahan dasar material cetak alginat.

Sodium alginate is one of the basic ingredient of the alginate impression material. Experimental sodium alginate was made by extracting Sargassum brown seaweed species using an immersion method in acid. The sodium alginate powder was then tested for its purity and viscosity. Using the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) test, the experimental sodium alginate had purity corresponding to the standard sodium alginate powder of SIGMA A2158. Through the Brookefield viscosity test, the experimental sodium alginate had too low viscosity of 45.3 mPas which is not suitable yet for Dental Alginate Impression Material basic ingredient."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh durasi penyinaran menggunakan LED dan pemanasan awal menggunakan Micerium ENA Heat terhadap depth of cure resin komposit bulk-fill. Alat dan bahan: Enam puluh spesimen Filtek Bulk-Fill Posterior Restoratives ketebalan 4 mm dan diameter 3 mm; tanpa dan dengan pemanasan awal pada temperatur 39 C dibagi ke dalam 3 kelompok sesuai dengan durasi penyinaran 5 detik, 10 detik, dan 15 detik. Spesimen dipolimerisasi menggunakan LED Curing Unit 3MTM Elipar, 1.200 mW/cm2 dan diuji kekerasan mikro menggunakan Vickers Microhardness Tester Shimadzu, Japan untuk menghitung nilai depth of cure. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik Kruskall-Wallis dan Post-Hoc Mann Whitney-U.
Hasil: Adanya perbedaan yang tidak bermakna p ge;0,05 untuk nilai depth of cure pada keenam kelompok tanpa dan dengan pemanasan awal. Walaupun nilai depth of cure tersebut tidak bermakna namun telah mencapai nilai minimum yaitu ge; 80. Selain itu terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna p.

Aim Evaluate the influence of different exposure time and pre heating on its depth of cure of bulk fill composite. Methods Sixty cylinder shaped specimens of Filtek Bulk Fill Posterior Restoratives 4 mm of thickness x 3 mm of diameter with and without pre heating at 39 C were divided into 3 subgroups according to exposure times 5, 10, and 15. All specimens were polymerized using LED Curing Unit 3MTM Elipar, 1.200 mW cm2 and tested using Vickers Microhardness Tester Shimadzu, Japan to determine its microhardness for calculating its depth of cure. Data were statistically analyzed using Kruskall Wallis and Post Hoc Mann Whitney U test.
Results A no significant differences p ge 0,05 in depth of cure amongst the six groups of non preheated and preheated bulk fill composite. However, all of the groups have reached a minimum value of ge 80 depth of cure. Moreover, there is a significant differences in microhardness in all of the six groups of non preheated and preheated bulk fill composite and between 5 and 15 of exposure times in both groups. Conclusion Exposure times and pre heating at 39 C had an influence on microhardness of bulk fill composite.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh hidrogen peroksida 40 terhadap perubahan warna resin komposit nanohibrida oleh larutan teh. Dua puluh spesimen berdiameter 6 mm dan tebal 2 mm dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Setiap kelompok direndam pada larutan teh hijau atau teh hitam selama 7 hari, kemudian di bleaching dan direndam kembali selama 7 hari. Perubahan warna diukur menggunakan colorimeter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan bermakna p0,05 antara perubahan warna teh hijau dan teh hitam setelah bleaching. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hidrogen peroksida 40 mempengaruhi perubahan warna resin komposit nanohibrida.

This study aims to analyze the influence of 40 hydrogen peroxide on color change of nanohybrid composite resins by tea solution. Twenty specimens, 6 mm in diameter and 2 mm thick were divided into two groups. Each group was immersed in green tea or black tea for 7 days, then bleached and re immersed for 7 days. The color change is measured using a colorimeter. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences p 0.05 between green tea and black tea after bleaching. It can be concluded that 40 Hidrogen Peroxide affects colous change of nanohybrid composite resin.
