"Letak Kecamatan Sukmajaya yang strategis mampu meningkatkan mobilitas penduduknya ke lokasi belanja yang berada di dalam wilayah dan di luar wilayah Kota Depok. Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai tujuan lokasi belanja oleh penduduk wanita di Kecamatan Sukmajaya yang tinggal di Perumnas Depok II Tengah dan di permukiman tidak teratur di sekitar Perumnas Depok II Tengah berdasarkan kelompok usia penduduk. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan keruangan dan analisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuan lokasi belanja oleh penduduk wanita yang tinggal di Perumnas Depok II Tengah dan yang tinggal di permukiman tidak teratur di sekitar Perumnas Depok II Tengah memiliki kecenderungan yang sama untuk setiap kelompok usia penduduk. Namun, perbedaan yang cukup jelas dapat terlihat pada alasan dan moda transportasi yang digunakan oleh penduduk wanita di Perumnas Depok II Tengah dan permukiman tidak teratur di sekitar Perumnas Depok II Tengah untuk ke tujuan lokasi belanja.

The strategic location of Sukmajaya District would increase the mobility of the resident to shopping locations within the region and outside the region of Depok. This study reviewing about the destination of shopping location by women resident in Sukmajaya for each age group of population that living in Perumnas Depok II Tengah and in non-regular settlements around the Perumnas Depok II Tengah. This research was conducted using the spatial approach and descriptive analysis. The results indicate that the destination shopping location by women resident who living in Perumnas Depok II Tengah and women resident who are living in non-regular settlements around the Perumnas Depok II Tengah are tend to have the same trend for each age group of population. However, the difference is quite clearly visible on the reasons and modes are used for the destination of shopping location by women resident in Perumnas Depok II Tengah and non-regular settlements around the Perumnas Depok II Tengah."

"Infrastruktur berupa Bandara Internasional Minangkabau dan keberadaan infrastruktur berupa transportasi merupakan faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kegiatan ekonomi. Dengan adanya keberadaan infrastruktur berupa bandara dan transportasi maka dapat memicu tumbuh kembangnya kegiatan ekonomi di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persebaran kegiatan ekonomi dan menganalisis kegiatan ekonomi di sekitar Bandara Internasional Minangkabau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis spasial. Kegiatan ekonomi pada wilayah penelitian di sekitar Bandara Internasional Minangkabau di dominasi oleh kegiatan ekonomi berupa perdagangan. Kegiatan ekonomi umumnya lebih banyak berada dan tersebar pada jarak 3 – 5 km dari Bandara Internasional Minangkabau. Persebaran kegiatan ekonomi tersebut di pengaruhi oleh keberadaan kota Padang yang merupakan pusat kota sehingga memiliki daya tarik tersendiri, hal ini sesuai dengan teori Losch yang menytakan kegiatan ekonomi cenderung berada dekat dengan pusat kegiatan atau pusat kota. Selain itu ketersediaan sarana dan prasana transportasi juga ikut mempengaruhi perkembangan kegiatan ekonomi dan umumnya kegiatan ekonomi terdapat pada jaringan jalan primer. Pendapatan para pelaku kegiatan ekonomi pada umumnya termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Perbedaan pendapatan pelaku ekonomi dipengaruhi oleh lokasi kegiatan ekonomi, ketersediaan sarana dan prasaran transportasi dan besar kecilnya suatu kegiatan ekonomi. Tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan oleh kegiatan ekonomi pada lokasi penelitian cenderung sedikit.
