"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini menganalisis dari aspek teknik penerjemahan dan fungsi teks yang digunakan oleh penerjemah dalam mempertahankan unsur magis. Dalam genre fantasi, pemahaman unsur magis oleh pembaca merupakan hal yang penting. Oleh karena itu, penerjemah harus dapat mempertahankan unsur magis yang terdapat dalam bahasa sumber dengan baik. Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses dan teknik yang dilakukan oleh penerjemah. Metode yang digunakan oleh penerjemah turut mempengaruhi pemilihan kata serta hasil terjemahan. Pendekatan skopos yang dilakukan oleh penerjemah menunjukkan hasil terjemahan yang optimal, sedangkan hasil terjemahan yang tidak optimal tidak menggunakan pendekatan skopos Ketidak optimalan pada teks sasaran terjadi, dikarenakan penerjemah tidak dapat mempertahankan unsur magis yang ada dalam bahasa sumber.

ABSTRACTThis thesis analyzed the methods of translation and the function of the text that used by the translator to keep the magical elements. In the genre of phantasie, the comprehension of the reader is one of the most important things. Therefore, the translator has to keep the magical elements of the text. This research focused on the process of the translation and the function of the text that did by the translator. The method that used by translator affects the words and also the result. The skopos method that is used by the translator was considered, in order to analyze the result of the translation. The results showed, that there are optimized and also unoptimized translated sentence. The unoptimized sentences are the sentences that do not have the magical elements. The translator could not keep the magical elements due the absence of the skopos approach. While the optimized sentences are the sentences that used the skopos approach. "

"Jerman menerapkan kebijakan pembagian jenis lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki dua fokus berbeda: yaitu sekolah menengah yang berorientasi praktek kerja Realschule, Hauptschule dan yang berorientasi perguruan tinggi Gymansium. Lembaga Gymansium merupakan jalur prioritas bagi anak-anak Jerman untuk dapat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini akan didiskusikan penggambaran ambisi tokoh orang tua terhadap Gymnasium dalam drama Frau M ller Muss Weg karya Lutz H bner. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perbedaan pandangan akan pendidikan yang dianggap ideal di antara tokoh-tokoh dalam drama. Tulisan ini membahas pula kritik yang disampaikan oleh Lutz H bner selaku pengarang terhadap pandangan akan superioritas Gymnasium. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pendekatan sosiologis Bourdieu.

Germany implements a policy on the distribution types of educational institutions that have two different focuses the work oriented secondary school Realschule, Hauptschule and the university oriented secondary school Gymansium. Gymansium is a priority path for German children in order to continue their education to university. In this research will be discussed depiction of parents rsquo ambition towards Gymnasium in the drama Frau M ller Muss Weg by Lutz H bner.

The results of the study indicate, there are two different viewpoint of what considered as ideal education among the characters in the drama. This paper also discusses the criticism of the superiority of Gymnasium presented by Lutz H bner as the author. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, with Bourdieus sociological approach. "
