"The volume is organised into three sections, each covering one of the three pillars in the discipline of international economic law: research and scholarship; teaching; and practice/service. It begins with an assessment of the state and future of research in the field, including chapters on questions such as: what is international economic law? Is it a branch of international law or of economic law? How do fields outside of law, such as economics and international relations, relate to international economic law? How do research methodologies influence policy outcomes? The next section looks at the state and future of teaching in the subject. Chapters cover topics such as: how should international economic law be taught, and when and to whom? Should it be taught in different ways in different places? Is the training provided in the law schools suitable for future academics, government officials, or practitioners? How might regional shortcomings in academic resources be addressed? The final section of the book focuses on the state and future of international economic law practice in the Bretton Woods era, including institutional reform. The contributors consider issues such as: what is the nature of international economic law practice? What are the needs of practitioners in government, private practice, international and non-governmental organisations? How can pro-bono service in the field be encouraged? Finally, how have the Bretton Woods institutions adapted to these and other challenges - and how might they better respond in the future?"

To increase intra-OIC trade, IDB has been implementing trade finance activities. This study tries to shed a light the determinants of intra-OIC trade and the impact of IDB trade financing on intra-OIC trade. Using gravity model both the intuitive and the theoretical one, this study observes eighteen OIC countries from 2000 until 2014. This study finds that GDP, distance of two capitals, IDB trade financing, common language, common colony, colony, landlocked, contiguous, the Arab Spring events and Asian as PTA are statistically significant factors in determining export. This study focuses on having output that reliable for OIC member countries and IDB to develop a trade financing scheme that can increase intra-OIC trade."

"Here James Rickards explores the future of the international monetary system. In the last hundred years, the international financial system, the foundation for all global transactions, has collapsed three times - and it seems history is doomed to repeat itself. Rickards argues that 'money' and 'wealth' are very different things and while wealth relates to real assets, irresponsible governments and banks have spent decades abstracting and manipulating the definition of 'money' to suit their own ends"

"The biggest causes of dissatisfaction in the current analysis of China's mega trends is the lack of serious economic research effort. This has resulted in confusion and misunderstanding about the development and direction of mega trends and blind acceptance of these trends. This all leads to potentially erroneous business and policy decisions and reactions to the emergence of China. This new book examines the structural forces behind mega trends in China, refuting conventional wisdom and demystifying media and market hype. It aims to bridge the gap between the East and the West, and academic and market studies of China by examining China's macroeconomic mega trends through the lens of rigorous economic research and evidence and taking a critical approach to question and assess the evolution of these mega trends. Coverage of China's mega trends in this book is not meant to be exhaustive, as new trends will emerge over time and the existing trends will keep on evolving."
