"Kebisingan merupakan semua suara yang tidak dikehendaki yang pada umumnya bersumber dari benda atau peralatan proses produksi yang dapat menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan baik gangguan pendengaran (efek auditory) maupun keluhan kesehatan subjektif yang bersifat non auditory . Keluhan subjektif non auditory merupakan efek yang ditimbulkan akibat paparan kebisingan, namun bukan pada organ pendengaran, melainkan efek yang menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan pada seseorang seperti keluhan fisiologis, keluhan psikologis, dan keluhan komunikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran keluhan non auditory pada pekerja dan menganalisis pengaruh dari tingkat pajanan kebisingan, karakteristik pekerja, dan perilaku pekerja terhadap keluhan non auditory pada pekerja bagian operasi di area unit 5-7 pada perusahaan pembangkit listrik PT. X Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret – Mei dengan melibatkan 58 pekerja yang merupakan pekerja bagian operasi pada area unit 5-7. Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah cross sectional dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner keluhan non auditory. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini diantaranya tingkat kebisingan (SEG), usia, masa kerja, penggunaan APT, pajanan kebisingan diluar aktivitas pekerjaan, dan pelatihan terkait bahaya bising. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap 58 pekerja bagian operasi, terdapat 31 pekerja (53,4%) yang mengalami keluhan fisiologis, terdapat 43 pekerja (74,1%) yang mengalami keluhan psikologis, dan terdapat 43 pekerja (74.1%) yang mengalami keluhan komunikasi. Terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kebisingan (SEG) dengan keluhan psikologis dan keluhan komunikasi, namun tidak terdapat hubungan antara karakteristik dan perilaku pekerja pada keluhan non auditory.

Noise is unwanted sound that comes from objects or equipment from the production process that can cause health problems in the form of hearing loss and non-hearing complaints. Non-auditory effects are symptoms caused by exposure to noise, but not on the hearing organ. This effects will cause discomfort to a person such as physiological complaints, psychological complaints, and communication complaints. The purpose of this study was to describe the description of non-auditory complaints on workers and analyze the effect of noise exposure levels, worker characteristics, and worker behavior on non auditory complaints among operating workers in the unit area 5-7 at the power plant company PT. X on 2022. This research was conducted in March – May involving 58 workers who are operating division workers in units 5-7 area. The design used in this research is cross sectional and data collection is done by distributing questionnaires related to non-auditory. The independent variables in this study included noise intensity based on SEG, age, working period, use of Hearing Protection Devices (HPD), noise exposure outside of work activities, and training related to noise hazards Based on research conducted on 58 workers in the operations worker, there were 31 workers (53.4%) who have physiological complaints, there were 43 workers (74.1%) who have psychological complaints, and there were 43 workers (74.1%) who have communication complaints. There is a relationship between the noise level based on SEG with psychological complaints and communication complaints, but there is no relationship between the characteristics and behavior of workers on non-auditory complaints."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai pengendalian bising di kawasan ramai dalam penjagaan kualitas akustik lingkungan teater agar optimal. Tulisan ini membahas berbagai metode dan teknik yang diterapkan untuk mereduksi bising, baik dari sumber eksternal maupun internal. Teori mengenai perambatan bunyi, refleksi, difusi, dan absorpsi dijelaskan untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai cara-cara mengendalikan kebisingan. Studi ini juga membahas tahapan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah bising yang terjadi pada teater dan cara pengendaliannya melalui insulasi suara, lapisan penyerap, dan desain struktural. Gedung Kesenian Jakarta digunakan sebagai studi kasus karena letaknya berada di persimpangan jalan yang ramai. Pengendalian bising dilakukan dengan perhitungan sound transmission loss dan reverberation time dari pengamatan langsung ke studi kasus untuk mencapai noise rating yang sesuai standar. Hasil dari studi ini menciptakan pengalaman audio yang optimal bagi pengguna teater.

This study discusses noise control in busy areas in maintaining optimal acoustic quality of the theater environment. Various methods and techniques are applied to reduce noise, both from external and internal sources. Theories regarding sound propagation, reflection, diffusion, and absorption are explained to provide an understanding of ways to control noise. This study also discusses the stages for identifying noise problems that occur in theaters and how to control them through sound insulation, absorbing layers and structural design. Gedung Kesenian Jakarta is used as a case study because it is located at a busy road intersection. Noise control is carried out by calculating sound transmission loss and reverberation time from direct observations of the case studiy to achieve a noise rating that meets standards. The results of this study create an optimal audio experience for theater users."

"Latar belakang. Bising merupakan salah satu stresor individu di tempat kerja. Untuk lingkungan kerja KEPMENAKER RI no 51 tahun 1999 telah menetapkan nilai ambang batas (NAB) bising yaitu sebesar 85 dBA. Penetapan NAB tersebut perlu dievaluasi, karena baru memperhitungkan efek terhadap terjadinya ketulian, sedangkan efek lain berupa stres akut belum di pertimbangkan.
Tujuan. Diperolehnya data mengenai tingkat bising dibawah nilai ambang yang dapat meningkatkan kadar adrenalin sebagai tanda akut stres.
Metode. Desain studi adalah analitik eksperimental yang membandingkan 6 kelompok, (pajanan 85 dBA, 80 dBA, 75 dBA, 70 dBA, 0 dBA dan kontrol). Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan blok randomisasi yang dilakukan secara single blind. Subjek adalah laki laki usia kerja di lingkungan Universitas Indonesia. Pengumpulan dan pengolahan data dilakukan mulai 23 Mei 2011 sampai 28 September 2011.
Hasil penelitian. Jumlah data yang dianalisis adalah 89. Dengan uji repeated anova didapatkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara kadar adrenaline pre dan pasca di semua kelompok yang diperbandingkan (p>0,05). Didapatkan terjadi penurunan kadar adrenalin pasca pajanan. Perubahan sistol, diastol, frekuensi nadi dan frekuensi nafas juga tidak memberikan perbedaan bermakna secara statistic terhadap pajanan masing masing kelompok dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Penurunan kadar adrenalin dapat disebabkan karena subjek penelitian telah mengetahui bahwa pajanan bising akan berakhir (15 menit) serta kadar adrenalin yang mungkin meningkat pada awal intervensi sudah menurun pada akhir intervensi. Hal ini sesuai dengan teori yang dikemukakan oleh Hans Selye, dimana seseorang cenderung untuk mengalami kegelisahan untuk suatu hal yang tidak pasti (uncertainty). Hal ini sejalan dengan teori yang diungkapkan oleh Ursin dan Eriksen bahwa ketidakpastian dapat memberikan ketakutan dan kegelisahan.
Simpulan. Terjadi penurunan kadar adrenalin pada kelompok 0 dBA, kontrol, 75 dBA, 80 dan 85 dBA. Singkatnya pajanan bising yang diberikan menyebabkan tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna sebelum dan sesudah pajanan pada tiap kelompok pajanan dibandingkan dengan kontrol.

Background. Noise can be stressors for individual. Indonesian regulation for the workplace No. 51 in 1999, has defined the threshold value for noise is at 85 dBA. This value should be evaluated, since it was determined for hearing protection, while other effect (acute stress) was not taken into consideration.
Objective to obtain data on noise level that increases adrenaline level as a sign of acute stress. This data will be used to recommend efforts to improve the quality of health and the prevention of occupational diseases through occupational health and safety programs.
Method. An analytical study design was used comparing 6 experimental groups, (85 dBA, 80 dBA, 75 dBA, 70 dBA, 0 dBA and control). Samples were selected by block randomization and single blind allocation. All subjects were men working in the University of Indonesia.. Data collection and processing was conducted from 23 May 2011 until 28 September 2011.
Results. Data from 89 subjects were analyzed. Repeated ANOVA test was used to analyzed the results of this. The results showed that there was no significant difference between pre and post adrenaline levels in all groups (p > 0.05). As a result, there is decresing level of adrenaline in post exposure. There are no significantly differences between systolic pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, breathing rate in every exposure groups compared with control. The decreased levels of adrenaline can be explained because the subjects were informed about the length of the exposure (15 minutes), the adrenaline level might has already increased before exposure and getting lower at the end of intervention. This is consistent with the theory proposed by Hans Selye, which a person tends to experience anxiety for a matter that is uncertain (uncertainty), this is also consistent with the theory expressed by Ursin and Eriksen that uncertainty can give fear and anxiety.
Conclusion. There are a decreasing level of adrenaline at 0 dBA, the control, 75 dBA, 80 and 85 dBA groups. The short period of exposures given can cause no significant difference before and after exposure in each exposure group compared with the control.

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang keluhan nonauditory terhadap tingkat kebisingan di Dept. Cor Unit II PT. X. Keluhan nonauditory meliputi gangguan komunikasi, gangguan psikologis dan gangguan fisiologis. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan semikuantitatif, cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei hingga Juni 2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kebisingan di Departemen Cor Unit II di PT. X berkisar antara 80,1 - 99,3 dB (A) dan gambaran tingkat kebisingan dengan keluhan yang dirasakan oleh para pekerja, keluhan yang paling banyak dirasakan adalah lelah (76,2%), tidak nyaman (71,4%), harus berteriak (61,9%) dan harus memperkeras suara (61,9%).

This thesis discusses complaints nonauditory against the noise level in Dept. Cast Unit II PT. X. Complaints nonauditory are physiological disorders, psychological disorders, and communication disorders. This research is descriptive research by using a semiquantitative, cross-sectional. This study was conducted in May and June 2016. The results show the noise level in the Department of Cor Unit II PT. X ranged from 80,1 to 99,3 dB (A) and the description of the noise level with subjective complaints felt by workers, complaints are the most widely perceived fatigue (76.2%), discomfort (71, 4%), had to shout (61.9%) and should amplify the sound (61.9%).

"Salah satu kota di dunia paling berkembang saat ini adalah Jakarta. Dampak lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh kota Jakarta diantaranya adalah masalah kebisingan. Masalah kebisingan di kawasan perkotaan menjadi sangat penting karena menyinggung soal kenyamanan penduduknya. Kendaraan bermotor, baik roda dua, tiga, maupun roda empat merupakan sumber utama kebisingan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1 mengetahui tingkat kebisingan di Kota Jakarta, 2 membuat model penyebaran kebisingan, 3 melakukan kajian mengenai pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku masyarakat terhadap hubungan kebisingan dengan pembangunan ruang terbuka hijau dan pengembangan sistem transportasi massal, serta 4 membangun model pengendalian kebisingan kawasan perkotaan dengan pendekatan ruang terbuka hijau dan pengembangan sistem transportasi massal. Berdasarkan perhitungan model penyebaran kebisingan dapat diketahui bahwa wilayah terbising di Kota Jakarta adalah kawasan Semanggi. Melalui perhitungan path analysis diketahui bahwa semakin baik pengetahuan responden, maka semakin tinggi perilaku responden untuk membangun RTH dan mengusulkan kepada pemerintah tentang pembatasan penggunaan kendaraan pribadi. Melalui perhitungan path analysis didapati juga bahwa semakin baik pengetahuan responden, tidak berarti perilaku responden untuk menggunakan kendaraan umum semakin meningkat, malah justru berbanding terbalik. Berdasarkan model pengendalian kebisingan, didapati bahwa dengan menggunakan keempat metode pembangunan RTH, pengembangan transportasi massal, pengendalian jumlah penduduk, dan kebijakan pemerintah tingkat kebisingan diharapkan dapat dikendalikan dan akan menurun. Keterbaharuan dari penelitian ini adalah menyusun konsep yang mengintergrasikan ketiga unsur penataan ruang, transportasi massal, dan pengendalian kebisingan dengan menggunakan model dalam lingkup kajian pengembangan perkotaan yang berkelanjutan.

Jakarta as the capital city of the Republic of Indonesia is a metropolitan region with a population of more than 9.9 million people. One of the environmental impact is the noise problem. Noise problems in urban areas is very necessary because it has direct impact to the convenience of inhabitants. Motor vehicles, both wheeled two, three or four wheels is a major source of noise. This study aims 1 to determine the level of noise in the city of Jakarta, 2 to create a model the propagation of noise, 3 to conduct a study on knowledge, attitudes and behavior towards the relationship of noise with the construction of green open space and the development of mass transit systems, and 4 to build model of noise control in urban areas with the approach of green open space and the development of mass transit systems. From the calculation of noise dispersion modeling can be seen that the most noisy locantion in Jakarta is the Semanggi area. Through path analysis calculations in mind that the better the knowledge of the respondent, the higher the respondent 39 s behavior to build green open space and propose to the government of restricting the use of private vehicles. But from the calculation of path analysis also found that the better the knowledge of the respondent, does not mean the behavior of respondents to use public transport is increasing, instead it is inversely proportional. From the model of noise control, it was found that by using four methods green open space development, the development of mass transportation, population control and government policies the noise level is expected to be controlled and will decline. Novelty of this research is to develop concepts that integrate the three elements the arrangement of space, mass transport and noise control using a model within the scope of the study of sustainable urban development.
