"Kecamatan Johar Baru merupakan suatu daerah yang memiliki jumlah kepadatan penduduk dan jumlah pemukiman kumuh yang tinggi. Tingginya kepadatan penduduk dan pemukiman kumuh akan berdampak terhadap timbulnya konflik kekerasan yaitu tawuran. Tawuran antar geng sudah membentuk wilayah-wilayah tawuran di Kecamatan Johar Baru. Namun, tidak semua wilayah di Kecamatan Johar Baru merupakan wilayah tawuran, terdapat wilayah-wilayah damai tawuran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa yang dapat mempengaruhi terbentuknya wilayah tawuran dan wilayah damai tawuran di Kecamatan Johar Baru. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bila wilayah tawuran berada pada wilayah dengan jumlah kepadatan penduduk tinggi dan pemukiman kumuh yang ditandai adanya wilayah kekuasaan geng. Sedangkan, wilayah damai tawuran berada pada wilayah dengan jumlah kepadatan penduduk yang rendah dan pemukiman tidak kumuh yang tidak memiliki wilayah kekuasaan geng.

Kecamatan Johar Baru is a region which has a high population density and a high number of slums. The high number of population density and slums will have an effect on conflict such as brawl. Brawl between gangs has already caused a forming of brawl area at Kecamatan Johar Baru. However, not all of the region in Kecamatan Johar Baru are brawl area, there are even peaceful area. This research is to find out the factors that may cause the brawl area and the peaceful area at Kecamatan Johar Baru. The result of the research shows that brawl area is located at an area with high population density and slums that marked the gang’s territory. On the other hand, the peaceful area is located at on area with has low population density and is not considered a slums that not have gang’s territory."
