"Geogrid merupakan salah satu material geosintetik yang memiliki fungsi utama sebagai perkuatan tanah, salah satunya konstruksi lereng. Untuk mengetahui perilaku geogrid sebagai perkuatan tanah merah, dilakukan pengujian Triaxial Tak Terkonsolidasi Tak Terdrainasi dengan diameter sampel 100 mm dan tinggi 200 mm pada kondisi tanah pada kadar air optimum. Nilai tekanan sel yang diberikan adalah 500, 1000, dan 1500 kPa. Variasi pada pengujian ini adalah nilai kuat tarik serta jumlah lapisan geogrid. Unconfined Compression Test dengan dimensi yang sama juga dilakukan untuk membandingkan nilai tegangan maksimum serta nilai kohesi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa sampel dengan geogrid meningkatkan nilai kohesi secara signifikan sementara nilai sudut geser mengalami peningkatan yang tidak terlalu besar. Selain itu, penambahan jumlah lapisan geogrid meningkatkan nilai kohesi dan sudut geser. Penambahan jumlah lapisan geogrid cenderung berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan sudut geser, sedangkan peningkatan nilai kohesi cenderung ditingkatkan dengan nilai kuat tarik maupun penambahan jumlah lapisan dari geogrid.
Geogrid is one of geosynthetic material which can be used as a soil reinforcement, for example soil construction. To evaluate the shear behavior of geogrid reinforced red tropical clay soil, Unconsolidated Undrained Triaxial samples of 100 mm diameter and 200 mm height were conducted at maximum dry unit weight and optimum moisture content. Confining pressure of 500, 1000, and 1500 kPa were given. Tensile strength and number of geogrid layers were varied. Unconfined Compression Test also conducted to compare the maximum deviator stress and cohesion value. The experimental result shows that geogrid enhancing the cohesion value significantly while the increase of friction angle is not significant. Moreover, the cohesion and friction angle increases as the number of geogrid layer increases. The increasing number of geogrid layer indicates that geogrid is enhancing friction angle value, while increasing the tensile strength or number of geogrid layer gives a similar cohesion value."

ABSTRAKDalam penelitian ini, efek ketidakpastian tanah dianalisis secara probabilistik untuk beberapa kondisi geometri lereng. Geometri lereng yang yang berbeda di representasikan dalam sudut 27, 34, 45 dan 63 pada ketinggian 5, 10 dan 15 m. Analisis probabilistik stabilitas lereng dilakukan menggunakan SLOPE/W utuk menggambarkan pola keruntuhan dan probabilitas kegagalan yang dimiliki oleh setiap bentuk geometri. Hasil probabilistik digunakan dalam mencari faktor yang mempegaruhi pengambilan keputusan bentuk geometri lereng dengan meninjau keadaan lereng dari konstruksi hingga pengoperasiannya dengan perhitungan Expected Monetary Value EMV . Pendekatan analisis decision making memberikan gambaran bagaimana pengaruh konsekuensi dari setiap pemilihan keputusan geometri lereng dilihat dari biaya.
ABSTRACTIn this study, soil uncertainties were analyzed probabilistically in different slope geometries. Different slope geometries are represented in 27, 34, 45 and 63 angles at 5m, 10m and 15 m height. The probabilistic analysis of slope stability is conducted with SLOPE W to describe the slip surface and the probability of failure possessed by slope geometries. Probabilistic results are used to know the factors that influences the decision making on slope geometries considering its state of the construction until operation with Expected Monetary Value EMV calculations. The decision making analysis approach gives an overview of how the consequences of slope geometries determined the decision made by its cost."

ABSTRAKWilayah lereng/kaki Gunung Merbabu merupakan salah satu sentra peternakan sapi perah di Jawa Tengah yang secara klimatologis memiliki perbedaan curah hujan yang berdampak pada kekeringan yang terjadi. Penelitian ini menganalisis tingkat keterpaparan kekeringan dalam kaitannya dengan peternakan sapi perah. Keterpaparan kekeringan diperoleh dengan metode skoring dan overlay peta dari indikator durasi, intensitas, dan frekuensi penyimpangan kekeringan yang diolah dari data curah hujan harian dengan metode de Boer. Produktivitas sapi perah dan pengeluaran peternak diperoleh dari hasil wawancara pada 44 lokasi yang penentuannya mengikuti metode stratified proportional random sampling. Hasil analisis dari overlay peta dan komparasi ruang diperkuat dengan analisis uji T bahwa wilayah keterpaparan kekeringan tinggi cenderung terdapat di daerah yang membelakangi arah angin monsun barat. Pada wilayah yang keterpaparan kekeringan tinggi penurunan produktivitas sapinya rendah dan peningkatan pengeluaran peternaknya pun rendah. Sebaliknya pada wilayah keterpaparan kekeringan rendah penurunan produktivitas sapinya lebih tinggi dan peningkatan pengeluaran peternaknya yang juga tinggi.
ABSTRACTThe area of slope foot of Mount Merbabu is one of dairy farming centers in Central Java which has different climatologically in rainfall that impact on the drought that occurred. This research analyzes the extent of drought exposure in relation to dairy farming. Drought exposure was obtained by scoring and map overlay method of indicator drought duration, drought intensity, and frequency of drought deviation processed from daily rainfall data with de Boer method. Dairy cow productivity and dairy farmers 39 expenditures was obtained from interviews in 44 locations which determined with stratified proportional random sampling method. The results of map overlay and space comparison reinforced by T test analysis. The result show that high drought exposure areas tend to be present in the area with the back to west monsoon wind direction. In areas with high drought exposure, the decrease of cow productivity is low and increased of farmers rsquo expenditures is low. Otherise in areas with low drought exposure, the decrease of cow productivity is higher and increased of farmers rsquo expenditures also higher."
