Penggunaan internet terus meningkat untuk setiap tahunnya. Peningkatan itu dapat berupa meningkatnya data of usage per pengguna, ataupun bertambahnya jumlah perangkat yang terhubung ke dalam jaringan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kapasitas kanal yang cukup untuk menghadapi perkembangan tersebut. Salah satu karakteristik dari sebuah kanal yang berhubungan dengan kapasitas adalah koefisien kanal. Dengan hubungan tersebut, kita dapat memperbesar nilai kapasitas kanal dengan melakukan peningkatan terhadap nilai koefisien kanalnya. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan analisis terhadap nilai maksimum dan minimum dari koefisien kanal yang didefinisikan, secara berturut-turut, sebagai nilai batas atas dan batas bawah. Perhitungan dan simulasi pada penelitian ini akan menggunakan pemodelan superposisi gelombang datar sebagai model dasarnya. Sebelumnya pemodelan ini telah digunakan pada pCell, sebuah teknologi nirkabel yang mampu mendapatkan efisiensi spektrum dengan lebih baik pada perangkat 4G LTE, untuk memperoleh nilai gain jalur jamak yang besar. Pada penelitian ini penulis melakukan pendekatan yang berbeda, penulis menggunakan pemodelan ini untuk menetukan nilai maksimum dan minimum dari nilai koefisien kanal. Pada akhir penelitian didapatkan hubungan antara perhitungan batas atas dan batas bawah terhadap simulasi nilai koefisien kanal pada beberapa jumlah jalur pancaran sinyal, serta sudut pancaran sinyal yang divariasikan dengan distribusi seragam.

 


Users data of usage and the number of devices connected to the network are increasing from years to years, simply, the internet usage is growing. Due to this phenomenon, we need a decent channel capacity to keep up with it. One of the channel characteristics that interfer with capacity is channel coefficient. By this relation, we could enlarge the channel capacity by improving its channel coefficient. On this research, we did an analysis towards the maximum and minimum values of a channel coefficient, simultaneously defined by upper and lower treshold. The simulation on this research is using Superposition of Plane Wave as the basic model. Previously, this model had been used on pCell technology to enlarge the multiplexing gain. However, on this research, we did a different approach by using the model to achieve the maximum and minimum value of a channel coefficient. At the end, we found a relation between the upper and lower treshold formulation and the channel coefficient simulation on some signal paths, with their direction randomized by uniform distribution.

"This book covers the history and recent developments of stochastic computing. Stochastic computing (SC) was first introduced in the 1960s for logic circuit design, but its origin can be traced back to von Neumanns work on probabilistic logic. In SC, real numbers are encoded by random binary bit streams, and information is carried on the statistics of the binary streams. SC offers advantages such as hardware simplicity and fault tolerance. Its promise in data processing has been shown in applications including neural computation, decoding of error-correcting codes, image processing, spectral transforms and reliability analysis.
There are three main parts to this book. The first part, comprising Chapters 1 and 2, provides a history of the technical developments in stochastic computing and a tutorial overview of the field for both novice and seasoned stochastic computing researchers. In the second part, comprising Chapters 3 to 8, we review both well-established and emerging design approaches for stochastic computing systems, with a focus on accuracy, correlation, sequence generation, and synthesis. The last part, comprising Chapters 9 and 10, provides insights into applications in machine learning and error-control coding. "
