This undergraduate thesis examines how the process of maintaining the ideology of white supremacy and how Django's character is constructed as a subject in planting white ideology in the movie Django Unchained (2012) based on the analysis of Django's relationship with other characters. The appearance of the movie during the phenomenon of post-racial society in America can be seen as a form of criticism of the ideology, and the movie will be analyzed to deconstruct it. The approaches used in this thesis is Stuart Hall's interpretation of Gramcis's Hegemony in the context of racial, and ideological state apparatuses by Louis Althusser.
This study aims to look at the process of hegemony to maintain white supremacy and clarify the status of the controller and the controlled. Then, this research also see how Django, who has been interpelated, continues the ideology that has been ingrained in him as a form of white supremacy. Moreover, analysis of the characters' relationship becomes important because Django's relationship with the other white characters represent minority and majority group relations. With the results of this study, the movie Django Unchained is a medium to build and maintain the hegemony of white supremacy.

ABSTRACT
Seventeen years ago, Sepha Stephanos fled the Ethiopian revolution after witnessing soldiers beat his father to the point of certain death, selling off his parents' jewelry to pay for passage out of the country. Now he finds himself running a grocery store In a poor African-American neighborhood in Washington, D.C., where his daytime customers are schoolchildren and his nighttime customers are prostitutes and alcoholics. His only companions are two fellow African immigrants, a Congolese waiter and a Kenyan engineer, who share his feelings of frustration with and bitter nostalgia for their home continent. Years ago, half a world away and still In the embrace of family, he never would have imagined himself living a life of such isolation.".
"But after a long period of blight, Sepha's neighborhood begins to change. Hope comes In the form of new neighbors - Judith and Naomi, a white woman and her biracial daughter - who restore the grand, dilapidated house next door. They become his friends and remind him for the first time In years of what having a family Is like. But their arrival signals something more profound for the neighborhood's long time residents, and when its newfound calm is disturbed by a series of racial Incidents, Sepha may lose everything all over again."

Alexandre, Michele, 1975-
"Michèle Alexandre defines "sexploitation" as the perpetuation of myths and stereotypical notions regarding men and women in order to further an agenda of oppression and subordination in certain spheres of society. The most popular means through which this sexploitation is achieved is through a method Alexandre coins as "sexual profiling." Alexandre argues that sexual profiling ultimately stifles the growth of our society by creating inefficient as well as oppressive systems, and that its eradication can help increase the productivity as well as the morale of society. Alexandre opens the book by exploring in detail the various ways in which normative views of gender are constructed and perpetuated through media and societal norms. She then focuses on the ways in which recent legal opinions and developments contribute to perpetuate these restrictive and oppressive norms. Finally, Alexandre outlines a plan to help eliminate the presence of these destructive norms and attitudes from different sectors of society.Sexploitation from the Newsroom to the Courtroom examines how sexual profiling represses, oppresses, and hinders various aspects of life for both genders, and explores the ways in which the law and the community can help eradicate the practice of sexual profiling"

Free, prior and informed consent FPIC is one of the principles emerging from international declarations and conventions. Indonesia is a country which is active in several conventions and declarations. However, in national regulations there is no recognition that explicitly absorbs the elements of FPIC as a whole. On the other hand, there is a prolonged conflict between the Samin community and the project proponent caused by various problems.
This research aims to analyze FPIC on regulation in Indonesia, the importance of FPIC implementation, and FPIC analysis in the construction of cement factory in Samin community. This research uses normative juridical method by using library material as main source and interview as supporting data.
The results of this study are The first FPIC has basically been recognized in the regulation at the central level. However, the recognition is still partial and implicit. In regulation at the regional level, some elements of FPIC have also begun to be absorbed and acknowledged explicitly. This is marked by the making of general guidelines for the implementation of FPIC in the form of a Governor 39 s Regulation. The second, FPIC is a very important and fundamental in determining the success of an investment in indigenous or local communities. In addition FPIC can provide benefits for every party, both the the project proponent, the community and the government. The third, FPIC in the construction of a cement factory has not been well understood. This is characterized by a process of delivering information that involves only pro project communities and the project proponent tends to expose the positive impact of development. In addition, suggestions, opinions and responses from the communty are not used as one of the factors to determine the policy or decision related to the establishment of a cement factory."
