"Pada era teknologi informasi saat ini, penerjemahan menjadi bidang yang sangat dibutuhkan khususnya penerjemahan dalam bentuk takarir. Penerjemahan takarir terutama dalam media sosial YouTube mempunyai tantangan tersendiri bagi para penerjemah. Penelitian ini membahas strategi dan pedoman teknis penerjemahan takarir yang terdapat dalam kanal YouTube Histori Bersama dengan data berupa video dalam Bahasa Belanda dan takarir dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teori strategi penerjemahan takarir milik Gottlieb (1992) dan pedoman teknis penerjemahan takarir milik D'az Cintas dan Remael (2020). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pedoman teknis penerjemahan takarir memiliki pengaruh terhadap penerapan strategi penerjemahan takarir. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa strategi yang paling banyak diterapkan adalah strategi transfer. Sementara itu, terkait pedoman teknis ditemukan banyak takarir yang tingkat keterbacaannya kurang karena harus menyelaraskan dengan kecepatan tempo berbicara penutur.

In the current era of information technology, translation has become a much-needed field, especially translation in the form of subtitles. Translating subtitles, especially on YouTube, has its challenges for translators. This study discusses the strategies and technical guidelines for translating subtitles in the Histori Bersama YouTube channel with data in the form of videos in Dutch and subtitles in Indonesian. This study uses Gottlieb's (1992) theory of subtitle translation strategies and Díaz Cintas and Remael's (2020) subtitle translation technical guidelines. The study results indicate that the technical guidelines for subtitle translation influence the implementation of the subtitle translation strategy. This study also results that the transfer strategy was the most widely applied one. Meanwhile, related to technical guidelines, many subtitles had a low level of legibility because they had to match the speed of the speaker's speaking tempo."

"Setiap penerjemahan karya sastra pasti memiliki tantangan tersendiri bagi para penerjemah. Tidak hanya menerjemahkan kata per kata, kalimat per kalimat maupun paragraf dari bahasa sumber (BSu), penerjemah harus mengalihkan makna sesuai dengan struktur gramatika, situasi komunikasi, serta konteks budaya dari bahasa sasaran (BSa). Penelitian ini membahas penerjemahan istilah hukum dalam lingkup kelompok kata dari novel The Chamber karya John Grisham yang merupakan teks sumber (TSu) berbahasa Inggris ke dalam terjemahan bahasa Belanda dan bahasa Indonesia. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori Larson pada tingkat kelompok kata. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan menggunakan studi kepustakaan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa baik pada novel terjemahan bahasa Belanda maupun bahasa Indonesia, istilah hukum pada kelompok kata kedua novel ini secara umum diterjemahkan idiomatis. Penerjemah menerjemahkan teks sesuai dengan struktur dan konteks hukum kedua teks sasaran (TSa), sehingga hasil penerjemahan tampak natural dan dapat dipahami oleh pembaca novel terjemahan karena makna asli istilah hukum dari TSu tersampaikan dengan baik dalam TSa.

Every literary translation has its own challenges for the translators. Not only translating word by word, sentence by sentence or paragraph from the source language (BSu), the translator must also transfer the meaning in accordance with the grammatical structure, communication situation, and cultural context of the target language text (BSa). This research discusses the translation of legal terms within the scope of word groups from John Grisham's English novel "The Chamber" (TSu) into Dutch (TSa1) and Indonesian (TSa2) translations. The theory used in this study is Larson's theory at the word group level. The method used in this research is qualitative and uses literature study. The results of the data analysis show that in both the Dutch and Indonesian translated novels, the legal terms in the word groups of these two novels are generally translated idiomatically. The translator translates the texts in accordance with the legal structure and context of both target texts (TSa), so the translation results appear natural and can be understood by the readers of the translated novels because the original meaning of the legal terms from TSu is well conveyed in TSa.
