Matingtype α (85,8%) lebih banyak dibanding matingtype a (14,2%).

ABSTRACT
Cryptococcus sp. is a fungus that commonly infect immunocompromised patients, including AIDS. The fungus is cosmoplite and known has biodiversities. This study aim is to determine the characteristics of molecular diversity, virulence factors and its relation to Anti fungal Pattern.
Methods: This study use exploratory-analytical design and performed at the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine and CBS, Utrecht, the Netherlands in 2011-2014. Out of 148 single Cryptococcus isolates originated from 108 patients and 291 cerebrospinal fluid Cryptococcus multiple isolates of 48 clinical samples (cerebrospinal fluid, blood, pericardial fluid) is the determination of the species and serotype. Single isolates were identified using PCR and multiple isolates were identified by MALDI-TOF MS. Identification of genotype on a single isolates using RFLP-URA5 and multiple isolates by AFLP. Susceptibility testing amphotericin B, flucytosine, fluconazole, voriconazole and ketoconazole performed by disc diffusion method. Results: Single sample: The entire single isolates are C. neoformans. Identification of serotype/variety shows serotype A 136 (91.9%) and the serotype AD 12 (8.1%). Matingtype α (85.8%) more than matingtype a (14.2%). Identification of genotypes obtained AFLP1/VN I (86.5%), genotype AFLP3/VN III (8.1%), and AFLP1A/VN II (5.4%). In general, all isolates are still sensitive to the anti-fungal, except against flucytosine (100% resistant). Some isolates show susceptible dose-dependent (SDD) to amphotericin B, they are AFLP1/VN I (10.2%) and AFLP1A/VN II (25%). Some isolates also obtained SDD and resistant to fluconazole. Multiple samples: The whole samples are C. neoformans; 269 isolates of serotype A, 6 isolates of serotype D, 16 serotype AD and 1 isolate serotype AB. 18 (60%) patients caused by the same strain, 10 patients (33.3%) due to two strains and two patients (6.7%) is caused by three strains. Susceptibility testing showed 100% of isolates are sensitive to amphotericin B and ketoconazole, 16 (21%) isolates were resistant to voriconazole, 19 (24%) isolates were resistant to fluconazole and 100% of isolates were resistant to flucytosine. Conclusion: There is a diversity of molecular characteristics and virulence factors of Cryptococcus. All isolates are susceptible to ketoconazole, but resistant to flucytosine. Some isolates SDD to amphotericin B and resistant to fluconazole.

Based on the latest data from the Directorate General of disease control and environmental health Ministry of health per December 2014, cumulatively the number of cases of HIV and AIDS on the basis of the province has reached 32711 cases of HIV and AIDS cases, 5494 from the Jakarta ranked first, followed by East Java and West Java.

HIV/AIDS is priority health problem in Indonesia, where the majority of PLWHA is in adult age. Discrimination from the community still occur and can be stressor for PLWHA. The impact are make them to be closed off, withdraw from the society, and vulnerable to lose their sense of community belonging. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between age, stress, and discrimination with sense of community belonging among PLWHA. This study using analytic observational design.
This study was conducted to 81 PLWHA in Pelita Ilmu Foundation, Jakarta. Consecutive sampling used as sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test. The results showed 64,2% of PLWHA were in young adult age (21-35 years old), 55,6% of PLWHA experienced a mild stres, 77,8% of PLWHA experienced a mild discrimination, and 63% of PLWHA have high sense of community belonging.
These results indicate there is relationship between stres and sense of community belonging, but there is no relationship between age and discrimination with sense of community belonging among PLWHA. It means that stress affects sense of community belonging and the age and discrimination can be risk factor for the level of sense of community belonging among PLWHA. Suggestion for the future is to look for other related factors of sense of community belonging among PLWHA.

"Despite the growing number of new cases of HIV and AIDS in Indonesia, the progress ofprevention programs has been slow. Low prevalence is always stated as a reason for delayingHIV prevention programs and to justify slow progress in implementation. Prevention programsare moreover based on a high-risk group paradigm. They focus on female sex workers asresponsible for the spread of HIV, leading to its stigmatization as a hooker?s disease. This articledescribes how seropositive mothers interpret and respond to HIV and AIDS as women, in lightof the fact that most of them have not experienced full-blown AIDS. Some women had alreadyexperienced severe illnesses caused by HIV but defined their ill health by the symptoms theyexperienced, revealing that they did not really feel as if they were living with HIV and AIDS.Despite the fact that some members had died due to AIDS, many still could not believe thatthey were suffering from HIV and AIDS or that their illnesses were caused by it; rather, theirsymptoms were of other diseases such as diarrhoea, tuberculosis, or hepatitis. And thoughthey realized that their past (or present) behaviours put them at risk, they maintained thatthey were victims who had contracted the disease from their promiscuous or drug-injectinghusbands. Even when they did admit that their own behaviour had something to do with it,they did not consider HIV and AIDS as a disease but a curse from God, a punishment fortheir immoral behaviour.

"ABSTRACT
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is one example of an emerging infection with total of 386 district of all province in Indonesia reported having such infection; with cumulative number of HIV infected patient from the year 1987 to 2014 is 150,296 while AIDS is 55,799 patients. The access to care only available for 153,887 patients among all HIV/AIDS patients of whom 70% are eligible for anti-retroviral (ARV) treatment and of these only half adhered to ARV treatment. In addition to that, there is an increased risk of other emerging diseases such as Zika virus, Monkey pox or Hanta pulmonary syndrome since a sporadic cases were reported around the region. Beside new diseases, tuberculosis, dengue virus, malaria and diphteria are continuously reported in Indonesia and classified as re-emerging illnesses. On this edition data on diphteria epidemiology in Indonesia will be shown by Karyanti et al.6 A recent outbreak of diphteria in Indonesia which involved almost all province in the country has led to a response named ORI (outbreak response of Immunization). Regardless of immunization, proper treatment including the distribution of anti-toxin and antibiotics are needed to stop the spread of this particular bacteria, further decreasing the mortality rate. In conclusion, the author of this paper mentioned that immunization gap needs to be handle systematically. Immunization data released on 2017 showed that complete immunization was given only to 20% of targeted group, while almost 75% were either unvaccinated or unknown. During the outbreak of diphteria in Indonesia, the WHO also reported several countries with similar problem such as Bangladesh, Haiti and Yamen. It was shown that a coordination between doctors in clinic/hospital with public health officer to conduct an epidemiological investigation, in conjunction with giving prophylaxis and assuring the logistics of anti-diphteria toxin and antibiotics were accessible were the key of success in eliminating diphteria like it was in Bangladesh.
Adherence to treatment are multifactorial for all illnesses. First, is the duration of treatment and the potential adverse event due to the medication. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia has support the early diagnosis of HIV and delivering treatment as soon as possible, in order to avoid transmission of the disease. Second, looking at another side of the story for HIV infected patients, receiving ARV treatment as a long life treatment could possibly cause an adverse event somewhere along the line. Budiman et.al reported factors that might contribute to liver injury. His study shows that measuring baseline liver function test AST routinely might minimize the toxicity of ARV to patients particularly with a low body mass index. Last, despite the adherence to treatment and procedures in minimizing the risk of adverse event to medication, we are now facing the primary resistance virus that transmitted in the community as mentioned by Megasari et al.8 on her report regarding the transmission of drug resistance HIV virus to naïve patients in Bali.
The Indonesian government through the Indonesian Ministry of Health has established a collaboration and one health approaches to tackle the threat of diseases in the country, particularly in infectious diseases."
