ABSTRACT
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt 2015 is an American sitcom that explores the Asian American immigrant Dong as he seeks acceptance of his masculine identity in the society. While many studies have discussed the masculinity stereotypes of Asian Americans in television series, they scarcely analyze the attempts of masculinity reaffirmation. By using Iwamoto and Liu rsquo s framework of Asianized and transgressive attributions, this article aims to discover the multidimensional aspects of Asian masculinity and how it is applied to reconstruct the idea of negotiating Asian masculinity through the analysis of Dong rsquo s personality, his interracial relationship with a white woman, and interracial competition with a white man. This article argues that the multidimensional Asian masculinity that Dong embodies reaffirms his position as an attractive, masculine man in the society."

This research discusses about the development and dynamics of the All Indonesia Football Association or PSSI at the leadership of R. Maladi (1950 -1959). This research is using the historical methods. The purpose of this research is to complete research about the history of the development of football in Indonesia especially the developments in PSSI .This research different from previous, because every leadership has it own policy. This research is using the historical methods. This  research is different from previous studies because every leadership period has different policies and achievements. This study discusses the policies carried out by Maladi during his leadership and achievments by the Indonesian National Team. One of the most important policies during Maladi`s leadership was the entry of PSSI into the FIFA International soccer organization in 1952. At this time Maladi through PSSI also become one of the pioneers of the founding of Asian football organizations determined by the AFC at the Asian Games in Manila. Another significant policy is to bring international teams to Indonesia. At this time, the achievements of the Indonesian national team were also amazing, get fourth rank in Asian Games 1954, qualified for the first time to the Olympics in 1956 which was held in Melbourne, the second winner of the 1957 Independence Games and the highest achievements of the Indonesian national team during Maladi`s leadership was place third in Asian Games 1958. Unfortunately,at the same time Indonesia also failed to qualify for World Cup because of Sukarno`s political policy that does not allow Indonesia to play in Israel. Soekarno was very decisive in their occupation of Palestine."

Hang, Xing
"The Zheng family of merchants and militarists emerged from the tumultuous seventeenth century amid a severe economic depression, a harrowing dynastic transition from the ethnic Chinese Ming to the Manchu Qing, and the first wave of European expansion into East Asia. Under four generations of leaders over six decades, the Zheng had come to dominate trade across the China Seas. Their average annual earnings matched, and at times exceeded, those of their fiercest rivals: the Dutch East India Company. Although nominally loyal to the Ming in its doomed struggle against the Manchus, the Zheng eventually forged an autonomous territorial state based on Taiwan with the potential to encompass the family's entire economic sphere of influence. Through the story of the Zheng, Xing Hang provides a fresh perspective on the economic divergence of early modern China from western Europe, its twenty-first-century resurgence, and the meaning of a Chinese identity outside China."

"Long before Vasco da Gama rounded the Cape of Good Hope en route to India, the peoples of Africa, the Middle East, and Asia engaged in vigorous cross-cultural exchanges across the Indian Ocean. This book focuses on the years 700 to 1500, a period when powerful dynasties governed both regions, to document the relationship between the Islamic and Chinese worlds before the arrival of the Europeans. Through a close analysis of the maps, geographic accounts, and travelogues compiled by both Chinese and Islamic writers, the book traces the development of major contacts between people in China and the Islamic world and explores their interactions on matters as varied as diplomacy, commerce, mutual understanding, world geography, navigation, shipbuilding, and scientific exploration. When the Mongols ruled both China and Iran in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, their geographic understanding of each other's society increased markedly. This rich, engaging, and pioneering study offers glimpses into the worlds of Asian geographers and mapmakers, whose accumulated wisdom underpinned the celebrated voyages of European explorers like Vasco da Gama."
