"Program Promosi Kesehatan merupakan salah satu program pokok pembangunan kesehatan, untuk penatalaksanaan promosi kesehatan tersebut oleh Departemen Kesehatan Republik Indonesia tahun 1996 disusun Strategi Peningkatan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (SP2HBS) yang ditujukan agar terjadi perubahan perilaku hidup yang bersih dan sehat. Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) meliputi 5 tatanan yaitu tatanan di rumah tangga, institusi pendidikan, institusi kesehatan, tempat umum dan tempat kerja.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan intervensi pelatihan PHBS terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku dari petugas promosi kesehatan puskesmas di Kota Depok. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasi experimental, dengan jumlah sampel 26 orang petugas promosi kesehatan puskesmas dari 26 puskesmas di Kota Depok. Metode pelatihan yang dipilih adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan dinamika kelompok.
Hasil intervensi pelatihan PHBS secara umum menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku petugas berbeda yaitu meningkat secara bermakna ;.setelah pelatihan dibanding sebelum pelatihan, pada kemaknaan a < 0,05 dengan p.value 0,045.. Kesimpulan dari penilitian ini adalah bahwa intervensi pelatihan PHBS berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku petugas promosi kesehatan Puskesmas se Kota Depok.
Agar dapat mewujudkan peningkatan PHBS di tatanan institusi kesehatan maka disarankan kepada petugas promosi kesehatan puskesmas untuk melaksanakan pelatihan manajemen PHBS di tatanan institusi kesehatan dan membuat jadwal kegiatan program PHBS. Untuk puskesmas se Kota Depok disarankan membuat surat tugas untuk petugas promosi kesehatan puskesmas secara khusus (tidak tugas rangkap), deseminasi informasi program PHBS, melaksanakan manajemen promosi kesehatan melalui 4 fungsi tahapan manajemen promosi kesehatan puskesmas, membuat uraian tugas bagi petugas promosi kesehatan puskesmas, dan meningkatkan serta mempertahankan hasil penilaian klasifikasi PHBSnya. Untuk Dinas Kesehatan Kota Depok disarankan melembagakan pelatihan yang berkesinambungan bagi petugas promosi kesehatan puskesmas, menyediakan sarana yang diperlukan, melakukan bimbingan pelakasanaan pengkajian PHBS, monitoring evaluasi pelaksanaan PHBS, membantu proses penilaian, dan menindakianjuti hasil penilaian PHBS. Bagi peneliti lain diharapkan dapat melakukan penelitian secara bertingkat, studi kualitatif dan kuantitatif, atau melakukan eksperimental murni.

Effect from Clean and Healthy Life Behavior Training toward Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior of Health Promotion Staff at Health Center in Depok City, West Java, 2003Health promotion program is one of the main health development program an to manage its program the Ministry of Health (MOH) of Republic of Indonesia has prepared Strategy of Increasing Clean and Healthy Life Behavior in 1996. The program encompasses 5 issues as follows: education institution, health institution, public facility, and work place. As mentioned by Green (1980) that health promotion is combination of health education, health service, organization resource, and health environment effort that aims to generate the behavior that is valuable to the health.
The objective of this study was to assess the effect of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior Training toward knowledge, attitude, and behavior of health promotion staff of health center in Depok City. This study used a quasi-experimental research design and took 26 health promotion staffs as samples out of 26 health centers in Depok City. The methods that used in this study were lecture, discussion, and group dynamic.
The result of the study showed that generally there was a significant relationship between the staffs knowledge and Clean and Healthy Life Behavior with alpha <0.05 (p value--0.000) as well as between the staffs behavior and Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (p value=0,000). Nevertheless, the result showed that there was no significant relationship between the staff's attitude and Clean and Healthy Life Behavior. In addition, there was a negative attitude change toward the lecture using cassette radio and group education at health center. The study concluded that Clean and Healthy Life Behavior Training affected to the knowledge and behavior of health promotion staff at health center in Depok City.
In order to accomplish the increase of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior surrounding health institution, it was recommended to conduct Clean and Healthy Life Behavior and to arrange the schedule of program. Besides, for all health centers in Depok City should conduct dissemination of information of the program, apply management of health promotion through 4 levels of function of health promotion in health center, set out the job description for health promotion staff in health center, and improve the evaluation result of the program as well. In addition, Health Office of Depok City should propose to publish regional regulation of health promotion, make the director regulation for health promotion staff of health center, provide the needed facilities, give technical assistance to the program, monitor and evaluate the program, facilitate the evaluation process, and follow up the evaluation result.

"Kegiatan industri yang semakin meningkat di Indonesia, baik secara kualitas maupun kuantitas, menimbulkan dampak negatif berupa pencemaran lingkungan. Salah satu dampak negatif akibat adanya kegiatan industri tersebut adalah menumpuk dan tidak terolahnya limbah, baik padat maupun cair sehingga meningkatkan peluang pencemaran lingkungan.
Untuk mengetahui dampak pencemaran lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh limbah cair kegiatan industri, dilakukan pengukuran beberapa parameter, baik parameter fisik, parameter kimia (organik dan anorganik), maupun parameter biologi. Satu di antara sejumlah parameter air limbah industri adalah fenol dan senyawa-senyawa turunannya (senyawa fenolik) (Metcalf & Eddy, 1991).
Upaya yang telah dilakukan untuk mengurangi konsentrasi senyawa fenolik dalam air limbah pabrik (efluen) sampai saat ini antara lain adalah dengan cara oksidasi, baik secara kimia maupun secara biologi. Salah satu oksidator yang digunakan untuk menurunkan konsentrasi senyawa fenolik dalam air limbah adalah ozon (03) (Besselievre & Schwartz, 1976; Jorgensen, 1979; Rice & Browning, 1981; Eckenfelder, 1989; Bablon et at. dalam Langlais et at., 1991; Freshour et al., 1996).
Sebagai studi awal/studi kelayakan teknologi proses ozonasi untuk pengolahan air limbah, khususnya air limbah pabrik tekstil, penelitian yang dilakukan ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar penyisihan (removal) senyawa fenolik dalam air limbah pabrik tekstil setelah diproses dengan ozonasi dalam kolom aerasi berganda (multiple injection bubbling column, MIBC).
Berdasarkan reaksi oksidasi langsung antara ozon (03) dengan senyawa fenolik dalam air limbah, maka dapat disusun hipotesis sebagai berikut : Senyawa fenolik yang terdapat dalam air limbah akan terdegradasi melalui proses oksidasi dengan ozon sebagai oksidator kuat.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang dilakukan di laboratorium teknik separasi Jurusan Teknik Gas dan Petrokimia Fakultas Teknik Universitas Indonesia. Sampel berupa limbah sintetik larutan fenol dan limbah asli yang diambil dan saluran inlet dan outlet pabrik tekstil PT. Texmaco Jaya Karawang. Data hasil pemeriksaan dianalisis secara deskriptif dan terhadap beberapa parameter utama dilakukan analisis statistik berupa uji korelasi untuk mengetahui seberapa kuat hubungan antara parameter-parameter tersebut.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan terhadap senyawa fenolik dari bagian inlet didapat hasil sebesar 4,10 mg/L, dari bagian outlet sebesar 1,84 mg/L, dan setelah proses ozonasi adalah 0,5 mg/L. Hasil analisis terhadap sampel yang diambil dari bagian outlet dan dari proses ozonasi belum memenuhi syarat (menurut Surat Keputusan Gubernur KDH Jawa Barat Nomor 660.31/SK/694.BKPMD/ 1982), karena masih berada di atas baku mutu yang ditetapkan sebesar 0,05 mg/L.
Proses ozonasi selama 6 jam mendapatkan hasil penyisihan senyawa fenolik sebesar 87,8% sedangkan dengan proses biologi dan aerasi selama 5 hari (waktu tinggal) seperti yang sekarang dijalankan di PT. Texmaco Jaya penyisihan hanya sebesar 55,1%. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya efisiensi proses sebesar 32,7%, disamping adanya keuntungan lain dengan menggunakan proses ozonasi yaitu mempersingkat waktu tinggal yang berarti pada pengurangan kapasitas atau volume instalasi.
Penurunan konsentrasi senyawa fenolik dari 4,1 mg/L pada awal percobaan menjadi 0,5 mg/L pada akhir percobaan diikuti dengan penurunan COD dari 323,81 mg/L menjadi 98,04 mg/L. Uji korelasi antara penurunan konsentrasi senyawa fenolik dengan penurunan nilai COD didapatkan hasil R2 sebesar 0,970. Hasil ini menunjukkan 97% penurunan nilai COD secara liner berhubungan dengan penurunan konsentrasi senyawa fenolik.
Penurunan konsentrasi senyawa fenolik seperti disebutkan di atas juga diikuti dengan penurunan BOD5 dari 103,0 mg/L pada awal percobaan menjadi 27,7 mg/L pada akhir percobaan. Uji korelasi antara penurunan konsentrasi senyawa fenolik dengan penurunan nilai BOD5 didapatkan hasil R2 sebesar 0,913.
Lebih lanjut penurunan konsentrasi senyawa fenolik juga diikuti dengan penurunan pH dari 9,0 pada awal percobaan menjadi 7,0 pada akhir percobaan. Uji korelasi antara penurunan konsentrasi senyawa fenolik dengan penurunan nilai pH didapatkan hasil R2 sebesar 0,927.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan maka dapat diambil kesimpulan sebagai berikut : (i) enyisihan senyawa fenolik dalam air limbah pabrik tekstil. PT. Texmaco Jaya Karawang yang diolah dengan menggunakan proses ozonasi secara kontinyu selama 6 jam adalah sebesar 87,8%, dan (ii) penurunan senyawa fenolik dalam air limbah berpengaruh kuat terhadap penurunan nilai beberapa parameter lain yaitu : COD (R2 = 0,970); BOD5 (R2 = 0,913); dan pH (R2 = 0,927).

Development of industrial activities in Indonesia recently, produced many polluted wastes to the environment. Measurement of some parameters those of physical, chemical, and biological on wastewater is a way to investigate effect of such wastes. One of severe parameters on industrial waste is phenolic compounds or its derivatives. Oxidation is the common treatment of industrial waste to decrease phenolic compounds on factory effluent. Although the difficulties of reducing the phenolic compounds in wastewater by oxidation, but there are oxidators commonly used for this purpose, like ozone (03) and peroxides (-OOH). This work has been using ozone in reason of some interesting aspects, including the ease of producing ozone in situ or close the installation.
As a preliminary study of ozonation process for wastewater treatment, especially textile mills wastewater, the aim of the research is to determinate removal of phenolic compounds in textile mills wastewater by simultaneous ozonation techniques in multiple injection bubbling column (MIBC).
Based on direct oxidation using ozone upon phenolic compound in wastewater, the hypothesis of this research is that phenolic compound could be degradated or disintegrated by oxidation reaction with such strong oxidator.
This research has been carried out in Separation Process Technology Laboratory, Department of Gas and Petrochemical Engineering Faculty of Engineering University of Indonesia. Compounds of synthetic phenol and real wastewater from textile factory effluent of PT. Texmaco Jaya Karawang were used as parameters. Obtained data were analyzed descriptively and compared by other main parameters to investigate the correlation among them.
The analyzed of factory effluent showed that inlet concentration of WWTP is 4.10 mg/L and outlet is 1.84 mg/L. After ozonation there is only 0.5 mg/L.
Six hours ozonation could removed 87.8% of phenolic compound, compared with 55.1% by biological and aeration process for five day long as is done by PT. Texmaco Jaya. This process could spent 32.7% more efficient and only took less time.

"Meningkatnya jumlah konsumsi energi listrik dipengaruhi oleh penghasilan pelanggan, dimana semakin tinggi tingkat penghasilan pelanggan, semakin besar jumlah energi listrik yang di konsumsi. Konsumsi energi listrik dalam suatu negara dapat dipakai sebagai indikator tingkat kemakmuran negara tersebut Makin besar jumlah energi listrik yang dikonsumsi, makin tinggi tingkat kemakmurannya.
Faktor-faktor yang diidentifikasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi aspek perilaku (yang variabelnya persepsi, motivasi, sikap dan kepribadian), tingkat pelayanan (yang variabelnya keselamatan, kemudahan, dan kenyamanan dalam menggunakan listrik), dan sosial ekonomi (yang variabelnya ukuran keluarga, penghasilan dan pengeluaran keluarga).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi pelanggan untuk mengkonsumsi energi listrik dan bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap konsumsi energi listrik.
Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa:
1). Faktor internal dan eksternal yang berpengaruh yaitu: Faktor 1: V02pk dan V03pk (Penghasilan keluarga yang mempengaruhi peningkatan energi listrik)
Faktor 2: V12hr, V04ps, V10km (Harga dalam mengkonsumsi energi listrik) Faktor 3: V09kn, V08ke, V05mi dan V01 uk (Keselamatan dalam menggunakan energi listrik) Faktor 4: V11 ky, V07kn, VO6sp (Kenyamanan dalam menggunakan energi listrik) 2). Hasil variabel independen yang berpengaruh terhadap faktor-faktor pengelompokkan konsumsi energi listrik yaitu:

"Pembangunan kesehatan dalam PJP II ditekankan pada peningkatan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, sejalan dengan globalisasi dan tuntutan masyarakat akan pelayanan kesehatan berkualitas yang makin meningkat. Manajemen SDM Medis memegang posisi sentral dalam manajemen rumah sakit terutama bila dihubungkan dengan kualitas pelayanan medis. Kenaikan jumlah dokter spesialis di Indonesia jauh tertinggal dari kenaikan jumlah rumah sakit, sehingga rumah sakit kekurangan tenaga dokter spesialis. Oleh karena kekurangan tenaga dokter tetap, pada umumnya rumah sakit swasta mempekerjakan dokter PNS yang bekerja di rumah sakit pemerintah sebagai dokter tamunya. Keadaan inimengakibatkan timbulnya masalah pelayanan medis baik di rumah sakit pemerintah maupun di rumah sakit swasta itu sendiri. Pola hubungan kerja dokter dengan rumah sakit swasta sangat bervariasi di berbagai rumah sakit swasta. Sampai saat ini belum ada pedoman yang dapat menggambarkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pola hubungan kerja tersebut. Peneliti tertarik untuk mengadakan penelitian tentang pola hubungan kerja dokter spesialis dengan rumah sakit swasta tersebut secara deskriptif analitik dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang hubungan antara karakteristik rumah sakit swasta dan karakteristik dokter spesialis dengan pola hubungan kerja diantara keduanya di berbagai rumah sakit swasta di wilayah Jawa Barat dan Jakarta.
Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pola hubungan kerja sangat berhubungan dengan jenis karakteristik rumah sakit swasta dan karakteristik dokter spesialisnya. Persamaannya adalah adanya dokter tetap dan dokter tidak tetap, sedangkan perbedaannya terletak pada variasi bentuk pola dokter tidak tetap, juga pada cara pembayaran dan pembagian jasa medisnya. Peneliti menyarankan kepada rumah sakit swasta dan dokter spesialis untuk memilih pola yang sesuai dengan karakteristik rumah sakit dan dok ter spesialisnya. Dan bagi pemerintah peneliti sependapat untuk terus memotivasi rumah sakit swasta agar memiliki dokter tetap dan meningkatkan produksi dokter spesialis di masa yang akan datang.

Pattern of Relationship Between Specialist's Doctor and Private Hospital in West Java and JakartaQuality of health service become the Government priority in the development of health program in The Second Long Development Plan (PIP II). Medical Staff management has been placed in the central position in hospital management, since medical staff has a strong impact on the quality of medical services. Pattern of relationship between specialist's doctor and private hospital is not clearly described. No studies has been done on this subject yet. The study objective is to analyze the pattern of relationship between specialist's doctor and private hospital. Specifically, the study could like to describe the relationship between hospital characteristic and specialist's in private hospitals.
The study found that pattern relationship is influenced by hospital characteristic such as : type of ownership, class of hospital, establishment of hospital and bed capacity. The study suggests that private hospital should have their own full time specialist's doctors, therefore the education of specialist's doctor should be increased the near future."

"Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kematian ibu dengan perdarahan antepartum di RSU dilakukan penelitian dengan rancangan case-control yang menggunakan data rekam medis di RSU se wilayah III Cirebon tahun 1992-1996 yang dipergunakan format MCM sebagai alat pengumpul data. Populasi adalah ibu hamil yang datang ke RSU dengan komplikasi perdarahan antepartum, diambil seluruh kasus kematian ibu PAP sebagai sampel yaitu 53 ibu PAP dan 263 ibu PAP yang tidak meninggal dan terpilih sebagai control. Digunakan analisa univariat, bivariat dan regresi logistik untuk memperkirakan OR dan 95% confidence interval serta interaksi digunakan untuk memerikasa efek modifikasi. Temyata yang berpotensi sebagai konfonding adalah persalinan dan kesiapan darah, umur kehamilan dan kegawatan serta frekuensi hamil dan kegawatan adalah persalinan dan kesiapan darah, umur kehamilan dan kegawatan serta frekuensi hamil dan kegawatan. Melalui penelitian ini didapat faktor penentu terhadap kematian ibu PAP adalah tindakan pengakhiran persalinan, pendidikan ibu, kondisi kegawatan saat tiba di RSU, status rujukan, umur kehamilan, frekuensi kehamilan dan kesiapan darah. Ternyata variabel persalinan menjadi faktor penentu utama terhadap kematian ibu dengan perdarahan antepartum di rumah sakit Umum, tepatnya ibu PAP yang datang ke RSU tidak diakhiri persalinan rnempunyai risiko kematian lebih besar dari pada yang diakhiri persalinan di RSU.
Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk mencegah kematian ibu PAP di RSU antara lain setiap ada kasus PAP diatas 35 minggu baru dapat di pulangkan setelah tindakan pengakhiran kehamilan; dan sarana tenaga, material khususnya untuk pembedahan dan pembiayaan serta prosedur tetap di RSU senantiasa menjadi perhatian pimpinan RSU dan Pemerintah Daerah untuk pemenuhannya. Untuk pelayanan kesehatan ekstemal RSU diharuskan segera merujuk ibu PAP tanpa melakukan manipulasi apapun serta memberikan pertolongan pertama untuk perdarahannya baik infus maupun transfusi. Selain itu agar senantiasa diupayakan pembatasan kehamilan yang dapat mempengaruhi kematian ibu khususnya ibu dengan PAP.
Karena pendidikan ibu mempengaruhi kematian Ibu PAP maka pemberdayaan wanita menjadi panting agar wanita dapat mengambil keputusan sendiri, dapat mempersiapkan kelahiran dengan baik sehingga 2 keterlambatan dapat dihindari; dengan melibatkan keluarga masyarakat dan aparat.

It is found out through the research that the decisive factor responsible for the death of pregnant women with antepartum hemorrhage are the effort of breaking up the pregnancy with child birth, the educational back ground of the women, the condition of criticalness when they enter the hospital, the status of reference, the age of pregnancy, the frequent of pregnancy, and the readiness of blood. It is found out too that the child birth variable is the main decisive factor on the death of pregnant women with antepartum hemorrhage; the death risk is higher on the pregnant women with antepartum hemorrhage without child birth efforts in comparison to the others with child birth efforts.
It can be concluded that, to prevent the pregnant women with antepartum hemorrhage from death, there should be the effort of breaking u[ the pregnancy with child birth, the availability dualified human resources and equipments for surgical operation, financing, and the regular procedure applied at the hospitals should always be paid attention by the head of the hospitals and the local goverment. For the external health service, the hospitals should immediately refer to the pregnant women with antepartum hemorrhage without making any manipulation and give them the first aid for their bleeding. In addition, there should be efforts to restrict pregnancies which may cause death to the pregnant women with antepartum hemorrhage.
Since the educational back ground influences the death of the pregnant women with antepartum hemorrhage, the women's education should be increased in order that they can make their own decisions in the anticipation of their child birth involving the families, sorroundings, and goverment agencies.

"Penyakit Tuberkulosis Paru(Tb Paru) sampai saat ini masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang mana penyakit ini di tahun 1992 menduduki urutan kedua penyebab kematian dan menduduki urutan ketiga di tahun 1995, serta menduduki urutan pertama penyebab kesakitan untuk semua golongan umur. Angka prevalensi secara Nasional yakni 2.4 / 1000 penduduk yang mana angka ini masih cukup tinggi. Di Kotif Depok Jawa Barat angka prevalensi tahun 1996 ialah 0.17%, dengan angka kematian 1.07%. Sampai saat ini belum ada penelitian mengenai keteraturan berobat penderita Tb Paru di wilayah Kotif Depok Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 11 Puskesmas dalam wilayah Kotif Depok Jawa Barat yang dimulai pada bulan Mei sampai dengan Agustus 1997.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode disain Cross Sectional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 215 orang dengan pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling.
Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu dari 215 responden terdapat 33% yang tidak teratur berobat. Jenis kelamin perempuan 57.2% dan laki-laki 42.8%. Umur rata-rata 36.9 tahun, pendidikan terbanyak Tamat SLTP(28.8%), pekerjaan terbanyak ibu rumah tangga(34.9%), status dalam keluarga yaitu isteri(34.4%), dan tingkat pengetahuan berhubungan dengan keteraturan berobat(nilai p=0,0232). Pada analisis multivariat ada tiga variabel yang berhubungan dengan keteraturan berobat yaitu penyuluhan kesehatan nilai OR=4,35, 95% CI (3,72 ; 4,97) dan nilai p=0,0000, ketersediaan sarana transportasi nilai OR= 3,44, 95% CI (2,39 ; 4,48) dan nilai p=0,0200, dan pekerjaan nilai OR 1,95, 95% CI (1,30 ; 2,61) dengan nilai p=0,0439.
Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik yaitu faktor penyuluhan kesehatan, ketersediaan sarana transportasi dan pekerjaan yang secara bersama-sama mempunyai hubungan yang bermakna(p<0.05) dengan keteraturan berobat penderita Tb Paru di Puskesmas se Kotif Depok Jawa Barat tahun 1997. Selanjutnya yang dapat disarankan ialah faktor penyuluhan kesehatan dari petugas kesehatan sangat panting untuk keberhasilan pengobatan, juga perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan mengenai keteraturan berobat dengan suatu alat ukur/instrumen yang baik.

Lung tuberculosis is still being a public health problem which was the second cause of mortality in 1992 and was the third cause of mortality in 1995. It is also the first cause of morbidity for all age groups. The national prevalence is 2.411000 people which is quite high. In 1996, Kotif Depok West Java has a prevalence of 0.17% with mortality rate 1.07%. Up to now there is not any scientific publication concerning the regularity of taking medicine among the lung tuberculosis patients in the areas of Kotif Depok West Java. This research was done at 11 public health centers in the whole areas of Kotif Depok West Java since May until August 1997.
Cross Sectional design was used in this study with 215 patients as the sample which was taken by simple random sampling method. Among 215 patients there is 33% of respondent that didn't take the medicine regularity. About 57.2% is female and 42.8% is male. The average age is 36.9 years old. The biggest proportion regarding education level is junior high school(28.8%). We found in the study that about 34.9% of respondent are housewife. The biggest proportion regarding status in the family is the wife(34.4%), and the level of knowledge which have relation with the regularity of taking medicine(p value = 0.0232). In multivariate analysis there are three variables which have relation with the regularity of taking medicine, i.e. health promotion [OR = 4.35, 95% CI(3.72 ; 4.97) and p value = 0.00001, the availability of transportation [OR = 3.44, 95% C1(2.39 ; 4.48) and p value = 0.0200], and occupation [OR = 1.95, 95% CI(1.30 ; 2.61) and p value = 0.0439].
The conclusion of this research is that the factors of health promotion, availability of transportation and occupation together have significant associations (p<0.05) with the regularity of taking medicine among the lung tuberculosis patients at public health centers in Kotif Depok West Java in 1997. We suggests that health promotion conducted by the health officer is the most important tool for supporting the success of the treatment. It is also necessary to do an advanced research concerning the regularity of taking medicine using a better indicator or instrument. (Kotif is kota administratif = administrative city).

"ABSTRACT
Natural forest in Java is recently limited in the mountain area. Most of these forest areas are legally protected, however these forests are still utilized illegally by people for fuel and sawn wood production. This forest has important role for life; therefore, the sustainability of the original mountain forest ecosystem should be maintained. Gunung Halimun National Park is one of the mountain rain forests having high biological diversity.
The objective of this research is to understand the composition and structure of tree communities in the national park edge area and the influence of trees to the undergrowth species, in such away the degree of forest disturbance and its causes could be identified.
Data collection was carried out between April and September 1995 in five edge national park areas, i.e. Cisarua I, Cisarua II, Legok Heulang, Pongkor and Citalahap: Floristic enumeration was done by transect-plot method. First transect-plots of 500 x 20 meter were established perpendicular to the national park border. Each transect plot was divided by 25 plot of 20 m x 20 in for trees (DBH > 10 cm) enumeration, 25 sub plot of 5 m x 5 m for sapling (2 cm < DBH > 10 cm), and 25 sub plot of 1 m x 1 m for undergrowth plants (diameter < 2 cm).
Sorensen similarity indices show the variation among the five study sites. Three sites Cisarua I, Cisarua II, and Legok Heulng have value more than 50 %, while the similarity of two other sites, i.e. Pongkor and Citalahap is lower, less than 36 %, indicates the different community types. Those variations seem to be resulted from different environmental conditions and degrees of disturbance.
From the five transect-plots of 500 m x 20 m, 89 trees species were recorded, belonging to the 33 genus and 62 families. Citalahap is an area having the highest species diversity, i.e. 48 species, followed by Pongkor (38 species), Legok Heulang (37 species), Cisarua II (35 species), and Cisarua I (33 species). Communities of Cisarua I, Cisarua II and Legok Heulang were dominated by Tinmannia blumei, Syzygium lineatum, Schefflera arornatica, Schima wallichii, Eurya acuminata, Quercus pycnan hum. Based on important index values, it was apparent that the Cisarua I is a consociation of Vkinmannia blumei, while Cisarua II and Legok Heulang are association of Ni,inmantiia blumei - Syzygium lineatum. The community in Pongkor area is an association of Castanopsis acurninatissima - Quercus pyriformis, dominated by Castanopsis acuminatissima, Quercus pyriforntis, Schima ~vallic/: i, Altingia excelsa; while the community in Citalahap is an association of Altingia excelsa - Quercus garnelli.fora, dominated by Altingia excelsa, Quercus gamelkflora, Quercus pyrifnrmis, Schima wallichii, and Litsea di versifolia.
Based on the sapling composition in the 125 sub plots of 5 m x 5 m, 68 species were recorded belonging to the 31 genus and 53 families. The most important species of saplings were Camellia sinensis, Macaranga triloba, Syzygium lineatum. Sciu:fera annnatica, Castanopsis acuminatissima, Gyathea contaminans.
Within 125 sub plots of 1 m x 1 in, 205 undergrowth species were recorded belonging to 72 genus and 155 families. Based on the life form, it composed of 71 seedlings, 37 shrubs, 2 palms, 14 ferns, 2 orchids, 22 lianas, 58 herbs. Composition of undergrowth plants could be classified into three communities. The first community represents Cisarua I, Cisarua II, and Legok Heulang. This community is dominated by light demanding (intolerant) species, such as Gleichenia linearis, Clidemia hirta, Sphaeranthus liulicus, Eupatorium intrlifoliun1. Macaranga triloba, and Helminthostachys zelylanica. The second community represents Pongkor area, dominated by shade tolerant species, such as Castanopsis acuminatissima, Maschalacotytnutio cotynrbosus, Conunc'linrt diftsa, Plectocomia elonngata, and the third community represent Citalahap area dominated by Alangium indict's, Begonia robusta, and Strobilanthes blumei. The growth of tolerant and intolerant species is influenced by tree crown covers and density. This is proved by Pongkor area which has highest trees density (373 trees/ha), and the lowest is Legok Heulang (190 trees/ha). Species diversity in five research locations is relatively high (3.46), compared with interior forest 2.49 (Hadi, 1994).
Based on calculation, basal area of trees in five research locations are lower compared with other forest areas in West Java (Yamada, 1975; Yusuf, 1988; Hadi, 1994). This means that trees in five research locations have smaller sizes. This is also indicated by class diameter distribution by which trees having diameter at 10-20 cm on the highest rank in five locations. The analysis of class diameter distribution of the sample trees from Citalahap and Pongkor area shows the normal curve (7 up-side down shaped). This means that the forest in two areas were relatively undisturbed. On the other hand, class diameter distribution from Cisarua I, Cisarua II, and Legok Heulang shows that the class diameter curve is not normal. Most of the diameter > 40 cm has been removed illegally by local communities. From the observation in the field, there are 32 to 88 illegal left-over cut logs per hectare with the diameter more than 25 cm. Based on this fact, it is shown that the forest area in the three locations has been very highly disturbed by local community, mainly with illegal cutting of the trees with diameter > 25 cm. In order to maintain the natural ecosystem in three locations of the Gunung Halimun National Park, the protection system in the park area should be improved."

"As it is stated at article 12 Law number 8 year 1971 about National Petroleum Company, Pertamina as the stockholder for mining oil and natural gas, then being changed by BP Migas as government authorized to sign and control management operation of mainstream business activity based on Law of Indonesian Republic about Petroleum & Gas number 22 year 2001, can cooperate with third party in the form of Production Sharing Contract, or other Contracts. Business activity in mainstream industry that is carried out by foreign companies cause expatriates mobilization according to the expertise and need of related companies to support their activities in Indonesia. Apart from high salary, they are also given various allowances to fulfill the expatriate's and their family?s need during their duties period in Indonesia, so that these expatriates can become very potential tax subject for the state revenue.
This research aimed to get clearer description about imposing cost recovery and treating expatriates tax income in KPS according to the existing law. One of the dominant aspects in KPS is cost recovery spent first by contractor financed by government when contractor has successfully found petroleum reserve popularly known as cost recovery. Expatriates tax income treatment by doing gross-up and putting that tax allowance into cost recovery causes reduction to government share in Production Sharing Contract as much as these expatriates tax that should become the state revenue.
From the result of research concluded that the treatment above is deviated from normative determination, but suitable with the prevailing determination of positive law, in this case contract and supporting rule. It is suggested that in KPS agreement contains more detail explanation about imposition of cost recovery components, and imposition of Income Tax Law for KPS can be more detailed and assertive so that it can give law certainty and reach agreement of Production Sharing Contract in Indonesia.
Research methodology used in this research is descriptive analysis by using data collection such as field study through interview with PSG expert, VP finance, Tax advisor and HRD Manager, documentary data as well as library study.

"Rattan is a spiny climbing palm that grows into the canopy of the tropical rain forest using a climbing whip in the form of cirrus or flagella. The natural distribution of rattan is from Africa, India, Sri Lanka, China, Malay Peninsula, Indonesian Archipelago, Papua New Guinea until Australia and Fiji. There are 9 genera and about 300 species of rattans in the Indonesian Archipelago.
In the forest of Indonesia, rattan grows from the lowland until the mountain area, that is from 0 to 2,900 meters about sea level (m asl). Its habitat is mostly on most area with annual rainfall above 2,000 to 4,000 mm per year.
Almost all part of rattan canes are used by people surrounding forest area for many of their everyday life. For Indonesia, rattan is a non timber forest product that gives the greatest income to the economy of the country. The country supplies 90 % of the world demands on rattan cane as the raw material for furniture.
For a management of a forest, it is believed that much basic knowledge about the nature of the forest is needed. One of them is to develop the forest as a resource of cane industry in a sustainable way. For this purpose the composition, distribution and density of rattan species in Gunung Halimun National Park (TNGH) were studied as a model. To facilitate a familiarity to the identity of rattan in TNGH, a study on the rattan flora of Java have been conducted. Hence the purpose of the study is to provide a manuscript of a field guide book of the rattan flora of Java and a study of the species composition, density and distribution of rattan in TNGH.
Data were collected from December 1994 until May 1995. For the rattan Flora of Java, all specimens herbarium at Herbarium Bogoriense and Forest Research and Development Center and Nature Conservation were observed. Quantitative characters were noted and measured to create the identification key and description of the species. For species composition on rattan in TNGH, three areas were observed namely in Gunung (G.) Kencana, G. Pameungpeuk, and G. Pangkulahan using a continues square transect method, from elevation 800 - 1,400 m asl.
The result of the study shows that, there are five genera consisting of 24 species of rattan in Java: Korthalsia (two species), Ceratolobus (two species), Plectocomia (two species), Calamus (14 species) and Daemonorops (four species). It is found that, Ceratolobus glaucescens, C. pseudoconcolor and Plectocomia longistigma are not included in the previous study done by Backer and Bakhuizen van den Brink, Jr.(1968), however this study supports their opinion that Calamus spectabilis and Daemonorops palembanicus are not found in Java.
From three areas in TNGH, it was found that there are 13 species of rattans in the region. In terms of species richness and densities, G. Pameungpeuk comes first, follows by G. Pangkulahan and G. Kencana. Calamus heteroideus, C. javensis, Daemonorops melanochaetes, and Plectocomia elongata are dominant both in seedling and nature forms. The rattans are relatively abundant in the areas less than 1000 m asl. and decrease in number of species as well as the minimal population in the higher altitude. Calanms ornatus occures in 800 - 1,400 m asl., Daemonorops ruber in 800 - 1,500 m asl., D. oblongus in 800 - 1,400 m asl . According to previous studies by DransfieId (1974) and Mahyar (1983), they were found only from 0 - 800 m asl."

"Hasil SDKI 1994 AKI 390/100.000 kelahiran hidup. Dibandingkan tahun 1988 450/100.000 kelahiran hidup, penurunannya sangat lambat. Target akhir Pelita VI adalah 225/100.000 kelahiran hidup. Untuk mempercepat penurunan Angka Kematian Ibu dan pemerataan pelayanan Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak, pemerintah telah menempatkan 55.563 bidan di setiap desa di Indonesia . Untuk meningkatkan peran bidan, pemerintah telah memberikan wewenang yang lebih luas kepada bidan dengan dikeluarkannya Permenkes no 572 tahun 1996, dimana bidan dapat mengelola kasus patologi dan risiko tinggi tertentu seperti perdarahan post partum. Agar wewenang ini dapat dilaksanakan, dan tujuan penempatan bidan di desa dapat tercapai, perlu didukung dengan tenaga bidan yang mempunyai kompetensi sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut peneliti tertarik untuk memperoleh informasi sejauh mana ketrampilan bidan di desa dalam penanganan kasus-kasus patologi / risiko tinggi seperti perdarahan post partum akibat retensio plasenta.
Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode studi kualitatif dengan hasil sebagian besar bidan di desa belum mempunyai pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang cukup dalam penanganan perdarahan post partum akibat retensio plasenta, usia masih muda, pendidikan terlalu singkat, belum memperoleh pelatihan klinik dan masa kerja masih pendek serta kelengkapan sarana kesehatan yang tidak memadai yang mempengaruhi ketrampilannya melakukan tindakan manual plasenta.
Setelah diperoleh informasi ini, akan disampaikan kepada pihak terkait untuk meninjau kebijakan pendidikan bidan agar dapat meluluskan bidan dengan kompetensi yang sesuai kebutuhan unit pelayanan termasuk di desa, dan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan bidan di desa melalui pelatihan klinik serta memenuhi kelengkapan sarana kesehatan di desa,sehingga tujuan penempatan bidan di desa dapat tercapai dan akhirnya dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap penurunan Angka Kematian Ibu.

Qualitative Study on Skills of Village Midwives in the Management of Post Partum Haemorage due to Placenta Retention in subdistrict Mauk, Tangerang District, West JavaThe 1994 National Population and Demographic Survey reported that Maternal Mortality Rate in Indonesia was 390/100.000 life births as compared to 4501100.000 life births in 1986. The government has set its target to decrease MMR to 50 % at the end of the sixth Pelita, whish is in the year 2003. One national effort to decrease the Maternal Mortality Rate was by producing and deploying 55.563 midwives at the entire villages. Realizing that those village midwives will work at remote areas in managing pathologycal and high risk maternal and child health cases, the Minister of Health increases the midwives authority by launching Perrnenkes no.57211996.
This study aims to identify the Village Midwives Skills in managing Haemorrhage Post Partum cases at subdistrict Mauk in West Java. Chasing qualitative approach, data was collected through indepth interview, observation in conducting skills and focus group discussion. Young, unmarried are the dominant profile of 20 ( total permulation) village midwives who were interviewed. The study found that majority of the village midwives are not able in performing manual placenta in Haemorrage Post Partum cases because they did not have enough knowledge and skills in the subject matter, no prior experiences in performing the skills and insufficient medical equipment.
The study recommend that decision maker should review and reform the existing Midwifey Education Program in order to produce proffesional midwives, knowledgeable and skillful in providing Maternal and Child Health services at village level. Increasing village midwives knowledge and skills can be done through clinical training, completing the equipment needed.
