"Saat ini, Maternal agency diketahui memiliki pengaruh terhadap keluaran kesehatan anak di beberapa negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia. Namun, masih sedikit studi yang menjelaskan hubungan antara maternal agency dan berat lahir. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian potong lintang melibatkan 283 Ibu hamil pada 10 Puskesmas Kecamatan se-Jakarta Timur. Hasil menunjukkan tidak terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara maternal agency atau komponennya pada berat lahir, tetapi terdapat tren menuju signifikan pada komponen pengambilan keputusan (p=0.071) setelah dikontrol dengan tinggi Ibu dan tipe keluarga. Pada analisis multivariat, pengambilan keputusan merupakan prediktor pelindung terhadap berat lahir <3000 gram.
Maternal agency has been recently identified to influence child health outcome in some developing countries including Indonesia. However, studies to assess the relationship between maternal agency and infant birth weight are lacking. A cross sectional study was conducted involving 283 pregnant women aged 19?44 years old in ten sub-district primary health center in East Jakarta. None of maternal agency or its component factors showed significant correlations with infant birth weight, though there was a trend toward significant (0.071) in decision-making autonomy, after controlled by maternal height and family type. Furthermore, maternal decision-making was a protective predictor against birth weight less than 3000 gram, in adjusted logistic data."

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana pengaruh kepemilikan sahamyang dimiliki oleh pihak manajemen perusahaan terhadap biaya utang padaperusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2007-2015. Biayautang diukur dengan menggunakan spread antara obligasi baru yang diterbitkanoleh perusahaan dengan obligasi yang diterbitkan oleh pemerintah. Hasil daripenelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan saham manajerial memilikipengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap biaya utang perusahaa, saatperusahaan mempunyai biaya keagenan utang, kepemilikan saham manajerialmempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dan yang terakhir pada saatkepemilikan saham manajerial ditingkatkan tidak ada hubungan non-lineardengan biaya utang perusahaan karena hasilnya pada saat kepemilikan sahammanajerial ditingkatkan tetap mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikanterhadap biaya utang perusahaan.
ABSTRACTThis Study aims to examine the effect of stock owned by company management oncost of debt of the listed company in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2007 2015. TheCost of debt measured by the spread between new issued company bond andgovernment bond. The result of this study showed that managerial stockownership has a positive and significant impact on the cost of debt, when thecompany have agency cost of debt, managerial stock ownership had a positiveand significant effect on the cost of debt, and finally when the managerial stockownership increase, there rsquo s no non linear relation between managerial stockownership and cost of debt, because the result when managerial stock ownershipincrease it sill have positive and significant effect on the cost of debt."

ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas pelaksanaan seleksi dan rekrutmen pegawai jabatan fungsional Analis Kepegawaian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan rekrutmen dan seleksi pegawai Jabatan Fungsional Analis Kepegawaian di Kantor Pusat Badan Kepegawaian Negara. Hasil penelitian pada pelaksanaan rekrutmen jabatan fungsional Analis Kepegawaian Rekrutmen internal Analis Kepegawaian sumbernya melalui dua cara yaitu melalui Inpassing perpindahan dari Jabatan Fungsional Umum, penyesuaian dari pejabat struktural eselon 5dan Kelulusan Pendidikan Ilmu Kepegawaian. Hasil penelitian pada pelaksanaan seleksi jabatan fungsional Analis Kepegawaian menunjukkan bahwa belum adanya standar kelulusan ujian seleksi CAT Analis Kepegawaian; Hasil rangking CAT belum digunakan dengan baik; Badan Kepegawaian Negara tidak melakukan wawancara kepada peserta ujian; Jumlah yang ada batasan-batasan usia terkait dengan persyaratan.
ABSTRACTThis thesis focuses on the implementation of the selection and recruitment of functional positions Personnel Analyst. This study used descriptive qualitative approach. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the recruitment and selection of employees Functional Analyst Personnel at National Civil Service Agency. The results of the study on the implementation of the recruitment functional analyst internal Recruitment Employment Staffing Analyst source through two ways, namely through Inpassing displacement of Functional Works, an adjustment of officials from echelon 5 and Graduate Education Personnel Science. Results of research on the implementation of the selection of functional positions Personnel Analysts indicate that the absence of selection test passing standard CAT Analyst Personnel The results of the ranking CAT has not been used properly State Personnel Board did not conduct interviews to examinees The existing number of limitations related to the age requirements."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, menganalisis pengaruh hubungan politik, terhadap kompensasi manajemen dengan mempertimbangkan manajemen laba (baik akrual, riil maupun, agregat) sebagai pemediasi yang didasarkan, pada teori keagenan. Sampel penelitian adalah perusahaan, non keuangan yang terdaftar, di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun, 2014-2016 dengan jumlah observasi 337. Penelitian ini menemukan bukti, bahwa hubungan politik berpengaruh, negatif signifikan terhadap kompensasi manajemen dan manajemen laba riil berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kompensasi manajemen. Namun hubungan politik tidak terbukti berpengaruh terhadap manajemen laba (baik akrual, rill maupun agregat. Selain itu tidak ditemukan bukti adanya pengaruh tidak langsung hubungan politik terhadap kompensasi manajemen melalui manajemen laba (baik akrual, riil maupun agregat).
This study aims to analyze the influence of political connection on management compensation by considering earnings management (accruals, real and aggregates) as a based mediator on agency theory. The research sample is a listed non-financial company, in Indonesia Stock Exchange year 2014-2016 with 337 observations. This research finds evidence that political connection has a significant negative effect on management compensation and earnings management has a significant positive effect on management compensation. However, political connection have not been proven to affect earnings management (accruals, real, and aggregate) and there is no evidence of indirect influence of political connection on management compensation through earnings management (accruals, real, and aggregate)."

ABSTRAKDengan meningkatnya partisipasi wanita di ranah kerja, banyak film-film Hollywood yang mencoba mengangkat isu wanita karir ke dalam film-film mereka. The Devil Wears Prada adalah salah satu film yang mencoba menampilkan dua wanita karir sebagai dua tokoh utama di film mereka. Film ini menghadirkan dua wanita karir dengan pilihan hidup yang sangat berbeda. Selagi film ini memberikan gambaran yang kontras antara dua wanita karir ini, makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bahwa dua wanita yang berbeda ini mengekspresikan agensi dengan caranya masing-masing. Tidak ada dari mereka yang lebih kuat di antara yang lain tanpa memperhatikan apakah mereka melawan atau mengikuti stereotip tentang wanita karir. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan mengenai agensi wanita ini, makalah ini akan menganalisa dialog, alur, dan mise n scene di dalam Film The Devil Wears Prada, dan bagaimana elemen-elemen ini mendukung pandangan bahwa film ini menampilkan dua jenis agensi yang mana tidak ada satupun agensi yang lebih buruk dibanding yang lainnya.
ABSTRACTWith the increase of women participation at work, many Hollywood movies try to bring this notion of working women into their movies. The Devil Wears Prada is one of the movies that progressively present working women as their two main characters. This movie comes up with a story of two contrasting working women with different life choices. While the movie tries to give the idea of binary opposition of the lives of these two working women, this paper aims to reveal that the two women in the movie with their different way of lives express agency in their own way. None of these women are less powerful that the other whether they fit or challenge the stereotype of working women. In order to answer this question about female agency, this paper will analyze the dialogue, the plot and the mise n scene of The Devil Wears Prada and how these elements of the movie support the idea that the movie shows two different types of agency which none are worse than the other."

Implementasi Qlue merupakan kaitan antara teknologi, institusi dan agensi. Penulis mencoba mengkaji mengenai bagaimana proses relasi antara teknologi, institusi, dan agensi dalam mendorong transformasi pelayanan publik di Jakarta melalui pengadopsian teknologi Qlue pada laporan pertanggung jawaban RT. Argumen utama dalam artikel ini adalah proses relasi antara teknologi, institusi dan agensi merupakan faktor yang sangat berperan dalam transformasi pelayanan publik. Artikel ini mencoba mengisi pandangan dari artikel sebelumnya yang hanya memperlihatkan peranan perubahan teknologi dalam transformasi pelayanan publik. Melalui metode wawancara mendalam dan observasi di salah satu wilayah penanganan Qlue terbaik yaitu kelurahan galur.
This study focuses on the effort of public services through technology adoption. One of forms is the responsibility report Rukun Tetangga in Jakarta through the Qlue application The implementation of Qlue is how it links between technology, institution, and agency. The author tries to review the process of relation among these three aspects occur to promote the transformation of public services in Jakarta through adoption of Qlue technology for accountability report in RT. The main argument on this article is that the process of relation technology, institution, and agency as they become the main factors in transformation of public services. This article attempts to give different perspective as the other articles with same themes only show the role of the advanced technology in public services. Via the depth interview and observation method in the place that become the sample is in one of the regions which using Qlue in its best way is Kelurahan Galur, Central Jakarta."

Theoretical shifts in anthropological studies in recent decades has given way to renewed recognition of looking at issues of identity, namely that the sociall life, the arena in which the identity plays in, must be fundamentally understood as negotiating meanings. This is where Clifford Geertz?s interpretative approach becomes important yet problematic. Important because Geertz offers a humanistic approach which examines how meanings and symbols become important in the view of the community itself. Therefore, he argues, cultural interpretation requires a more in-depth analysis, also more intelligent and complex in which its purposes and those complexed cultural forms that can not simply be reduced to the effects on the social engines and organisms as claimed by structuralist and functionalist scholars before him. At the same time, it is also problematic because of Geertz?s position that searches for meaning makes him seem neglective or underestimative of the process of how interaction ? the arena of where meanings work ? is produced. In this case, Geertz?s critics have ?helped? by reminding him of what is power relations and agency. Refering to the conception of Sherry Ortner, the author argues that through the agency there is a way to see this debate from the mid. The side which is not for eliminating the significant influence of Geertz is also not to ignore the significance of the critics? arguments, but to bridge the two (meaning and power relations). Efforts in connecting this theory through the concept of agency consequently will include the significance of one party, at the same time improve its insignificance through the criticism of others and vice versa."

"Natural resource management discourse and practice, as in politics but in different level, are shifting from centralized to local autonomy. Consequently, local government has to undertake many tasks. One important task is to formulate natural resource management policy that can contribute to enhance social welfare without disturbing natural resource sustainability. Hence, it is useful to evaluate existing management practices to learn its weaknesses and strengths as the basis in formulating new management policy. This article discussed conflict potential among stakeholders in the exploitation of sea natural resources in Kei islands, Southeast Mollucan. By analyzing the conflict, the discussion will identify stakeholders and power relations among them (interests, strategies and resource controls) to reveal challenges in natural resource management practices in the local autonomy era."
