"Perusahaan pelayaran yang menjadi objek penelitian dalam skripsi ini bergerak dalam bidang jasa transportasi laut, dalam hal ini jasa pengiriman barang dalam bentuk peti kemas (container).Dalam memenuhi permintaan konsumen (perusahaan yang mencarter kapal), perusahaan ini memiliki dua buah kapal laut kargo semi container untuk mengantar barang dari satu tujuan ke tujuan lain. Dengan bertambahnya umur kapal laut kargo semi container yang dimiliki perusahaan tersebut, maka banyak pula permasalahan yang timbul, salah satunya yaitu permasalahan mesin kapal. Mesin kapal laut kargo pada umumnya memiliki umur ekonomis sekitar dua puluh lima sampai tiga puluh tahun, namun didalam kenyataannya tidak banyak mesin kapal yang dapat beroperasi selama itu. Hal tersebut bisa diakibatkan oleh maintenance atau perawatan mesin yang tidak sesuai dengan prosedur, atau pihak maintenance yang sengaja mengabaikan prosedur-prosedur pemeliharaan demi mendapatkan keuntungan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan analisa penggantian mesin kapal dengan Ilmu Ekonomi Teknik menggunakan metode Annual Equivalen. Pada penelitian ini, kenapa menggunakan metode Annual Equivalen, karena metode ini dianggap cukup efektif dan akurat terhadap perhitungan yang menggunakan dua investasi dengan umur sisa yang berbeda. Langkah selanjutnya yaitu dengan menghitung Annual Equivalen dari mulai penggantian yang dilakukan saat ini sampai dengan penggantian sepuluh tahun kemudian. Dengan demikian maka dapat diketahui waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan penggantian.

Sea transport company that becoming research object in this study make a move in the field of sea transportation service, in this case service delivery of goods in the form of container. To fulfill request of consumer, this company have two semi cargo boat of container to deliver goods from one target to other target. By increasing semi cargo boat age that had by the company, hence there are also many problems of arising out, one of them that is a problems of motorship. Cargo ship machine in general have economic age about twenty five until thirty year, but in reality not many motorship able to operate during that. The mentioned can be resulted from the maintenance or treatment of machine which disagree with procedure, or the maintenance department which intend to disregard conservancy procedures for the shake of getting large of profit.

Consider of that problems, hence to analyse engine replacement of the ship with Economics Technique use method of Annual Equivalen. This method is assumed effective enough accurate and to calculation using two invesment with different remains age. The next step is by counting and calculating Annual Equivalen from strarting replacement in this time up to replacement ten years later. Thereby hence can know by right time to do replacement."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rancangan model pasar tradisional yang dapat memenuhi kriteria kelayakan bagi investor untuk pembangunan pasar dan pedagang itu sendiri. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan perancangan sebuah model pasar tradisional Z di daerah Jakarta Timur secara sederhana, namun tetap memenuhi kebutuhan pengunjung serta memudahkan pedagang dalam pengangkutan material, sehingga pasar tidak hanya rapi, teratur, bersih dan nyaman bagi pengunjung, namun juga memudahkan pedagang. Dengan menganalogikan pasar tradisional sebagai gudang (warehaouse) pada perancangan fasilitas (Facility Planning), prinsip penataannya dilakukan sesuai dengan kaidah similarity, popularity, dan characteristic. Selanjutnya rancangan pasar tradisional ini akan dianalisis kelayakannya bagi pihak-pihak terkait, seperti penyedia dana, pemilik tanah dan pedagang itu sendiri. Dari perancangan bangunan pasar akan diperoleh gambaran mengenai luas lahan dan bentuk bangunan sehingga dapat ditetapkan besarnya biaya investasi bangunan pasar yang akan digunakan dalam perhitungan kelayakan investasi bangunan pasar. Analisis kelayakan (Feasibility Study) model pasar tradisional ini akan dihitung dengan metode pada engineering Economy, yaitu Net Present Value (NPV) Method, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit/ Cost Ratio, Payback Period (PBP) dan analisa sensitivitas untuk faktor biaya pembangunan, suku bunga pinjaman dan biaya kepemilikan tanah. Untuk analisis kelayakan pedagang nya dihitung dengan Profit and Loss Statement pedagang yang dihitung secara rata-rata harian.

The purpose of this research is to examine design of traditional market model that fill criteria for the feasibility for investor and the trader. This research began with designing one model of traditional market Z at East Jakarta with simplicity, but still matches for necessity of buyer and facilitates the trader. Using the principle of warehouse (same function between market and warehouse), facility planning of traditional market model is done with similarity, popularity and characteristic principle. Afterwards, this research followed by calculation of financial feasibility study for relevant party, such as investor, land owner and trader. Feasibility calculation is done using engineering economy principle, such as Net Present Value (NPV) Method, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit/ Cost Ratio, Payback Period (PBP) and analysis sensitivity. For the feasibility analysis of trader, be calculated using Profit and Loss Statement of trader daily."

Untuk itu diperlukan adanya studi kelayakanusaha dalam pembangunan plant sehingga banyak proyek serupa dijalankan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan proyek pembangunanekstraksi plant dengan kapasitas 20 MMSCFD dan 40 MMSFCD di daerahSumatera Selatan, dengan menggunakan metode formula financial danengineering economy berdasarkan harga jual gas, IRR, NPV, PBP, dan BCR proyek sehingga pemanfaatan gas sisa ini dapat terealisasikan.

AbstractUse of energy resources, especially natural gas, emissions are the result ofunwanted by industrial activities both oil and gas industry, on the other side of theremoved gas emissions can be valuable and necessary measures to preventenvironmental pollution. Utilization can be made by the company that runs theindustry with the addition of extraction plant to utilize the wasted gas. It requiresa feasibility study in the construction of the plant so many similar projectsexecuted. This study aims to determine the feasibility of extraction of plantdevelopment project with a capacity of 20 MMSCFD and 40 MMSFCD in SouthSumatra, by using financial formulas and methods of engineering economy isbased on gas sales price, IRR, NPV, PBP, and the BCR of the project so that theutilization of residual gas can be realized."
